CoDz Code of Conduct
Listed below is the Code of Conduct.
Please don't just read numbered points and say "I'd never advertise!" and skip over it, because there are things you may not realize are categorized as advertising, or anything else, that are and you might have already broken them. If you have any questions regarding this, please ask, and have a good time and be sure to follow the rules!
1. ADVERTISING [ADV]:
Rule: Advertising to other users inside the CoDz Forum, whether it be via a post, personal message, or profile/signature links, to buy or view any products, websites, or other service is strictly prohibited. Non-intrusive links in signatures to personal YouTube accounts may be allowed, but that is case-to-case and each will be reviewed individually.
Consequence: The infringing user’s account will be banned, as well as the IP address. Any post with the intentions of advertising will be immediately and permanently deleted.
Example: If you are a spam bot, a hired advertiser, or a desperate website/business owner, this may apply to you. Signing up and making your only post a promotion for your zombie gameplay YouTube channel is breaking the rule. However simply sending links to a fellow forum goer who wants to know where to buy a capture card is not breaking this rule, PMing your buddy a link to a funny YouTube video isn't, etc.
2. DOUBLE ACCOUNTS [DBLE]:
Rule: Creating another account when a a user already has one account on CoDz is not allowed. There is little to no need for a separate account. If you've forgotten your password and need access back to your main account, use the Forgot Password link. Should there be a logical reason outside of forgetting credentials for the double account, contact a staff member immediately with details of the situation..
Consequence: The secondary account created by the original user will be permanently banned given with evidence of double accounts. In addition, the original account held by the user will be temporarily banned as well. Using the secondary account to avoid a suspension/ban on the main account will result in both accounts being permanently banned.
Example: A user creates a double account because they've been banned. If that account matches up the original user and no case has been made to the staff about the reason for the double account, both accounts will be banned after contacting the user.
3. SPAMMING [SPAM]: Spamming is defined as many things, and all of them aren’t allowed. As a CoDz user, you should hold yourself to a high standard and use common sense when posting.
Duplicate Posts -
Rule: Creating a thread that discusses a topic that has already been brought up in another thread is generally frowned upon, as each user is responsible for finding the pre-existing thread and making their remarks there. Cross-posting violations (making more than one post of the same question/answer across multiple forums) is prohibited.
Consequence: The infringing duplicate thread will be either merged (with the original thread), locked, or deleted, depending on the situation. When dealing with two duplicate threads, the staff will sometimes exercise their own personal judgement with regard to the thread’s posts, to avoid conversations being broken up and posts losing their cohesion, as all the comments in both threads are merged and arranged by the date they were posted.
Cross-posting violations will be dealt with by deleting all cross-posted threads. Users are responsible for figuring out the appropriate section in which to post their topic. If you have any trouble you may ask any staff member for advice!
We always welcome PMs from the users!
Example: If two threads are created that both discuss the exact same element of a newly released Zombie Map trailer, they become ‘duplicate posts’, as they consist of identical, or very similar, material. However, if someone makes a thread about, for example, who they think the Pentagon Thief is, and then someone else makes a thread in which they argue that it is actually someone completely different, they would not be breaking the rule.
Moreover, if someone made a thread that came to the same conclusion as the first user’s thread did, it still wouldn’t necessarily break the rule, as long as they brought new evidence to the table (or reevaluated old evidence) while doing so. If they reach the same conclusion, then they will be merged, in which case the older thread will remain, and the newer thread will become a reply to the older post.
Post Pumping -
Rule: Any user that makes a post just to increase their own post count is considered disruptive to the community, and is interfering with the other members’ usage of the CoDz forum.
Consequence: Violations will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis - some users will be warned verbally by PM, others may receive an official warning, and posts/threads may also be deleted (which will make your post count drop again!). Repeat offenders will suffer a Permanent Ban of their account on the forum.
Example: If a user makes a post saying “I agree,” or “We know,” or something similar and they do not further the conversation or productivity of the thread, that would be grounds for deletion of the post. The specific details of post pumping are left for staff to decide case-by-case, as there are a broad range of possibilities, which are quite dependent on the circumstances.
4. FLAMING [FLAME]:
Rule: Posts, signatures, avatars, or PMs that are intended to harass, threaten, embarrass or cause the distress or discomfort to another member of the CoDz Forum Community or any other individual or entity is unacceptable. (For this reason, the emoticon known as “facepalm” has been removed from the forum.)
Consequence: In some cases, warnings may be issued, but flaming is likely to result in Permanent Banning. It is therefore advisable to always be respectful to your fellow members; this does not mean you cannot disagree with someone, but you do not need to tear a person down in order to prove your point, so be careful with sarcasm! The response “I was only joking” will not get you much sympathy.
Example: If a user says to another on the forum that they are stupid, dumb, illogical, incompetent, etc., that is an example of a user tearing another down, and is considered to be ‘flaming’. Even sarcastically saying “Wow, you’re a bright one, aren’t you..” or “Did you figure that out on your own?” would qualify as a form of harassment.
5. OFFENSIVE CONTENT [OFF]:
Rule: Using offensive language in any context is not allowed here at the CoDz Forum. We believe that our intelligent members can make their points and offer their contributions WITHOUT the necessity of vulgarities. Included in this would be racism, sexism, or any other form of discrimination that may end up causing the distress or discomfort of a user or any group in general. Along with offensive language, displaying or linking to offensive content is not allowed at CoDz. Please be sensitive towards others and how they may react to sensitive material.
Consequence: Posts, signatures, or profiles containing offensive language, content, or links will be edited and/or deleted by the Forum Moderators and Warnings will be issued as appropriate. Repeat violations of this policy may result in more severe actions, up to and including Permanent Banning.
Example: You can come up with your own examples for sensitive language, I trust we all have at least a few in our heads, but simply starring out a letter or putting a strike through the word does not excuse its usage, such as f*ck, sh*t, etc. An example of offensive content could be an avatar of the Twin Towers falling with the caption “Burn baby burn!” This is very offensive to many people, and although it may not be so to you, please respect the feelings of other users.
Examples of offensive links include Pornographic, Racial, Defamation, or any other derogatory content. If it does not pass our CoC do not link to it on our site.
6. SIGNATURES [SIG]:
Rule: A user’s signature may only be 5 lines high, 15 pixels high per line and 65 pixels wide per line. A signature must follow all of the above guidelines concerning offensive language and material, and also concerning advertising.
Consequence: If a user creates a signature that violates the above rules, they will first be contacted and asked to change their signature. If they do not comply, someone will change it for them. Particularly horrid offenses will be dealt with by staff in an appropriate manner.
Example: A “good” signature could contain a few links to some threads (as long as they follow previous rules), zombie round numbers, a small image, or something personal, such as a saying or quote. A “bad” signature would contain any annoying “flashy” .GIFs, or any content that would not comply with previous CoC rules.

It's been a while since i've been on here but recently me and my friend have deicdided that after months of putting off these easter eggs in BO2 it was time to finally handle them. After several attempts (we were trying to do it two-playered and Richtofen said we kept messing up) at the TranZit easter egg we finally finished it earlier today with a couple of friends, which is when I learned that the Navcards had to be inserted into the apporpiate machines to do the full easter eggs. With this knowledge, I quickly went into a solo game on Buried (as I had the Die Rise Navcard), built the table, inserted the Navcard then grabbed the Buried one, went back to Tran…

Now I'm not too sure, but on Fred tatasciore's twitter he has this photo : http://twitter.com/fred_tatasciore/stat ... 33/photo/1 I'm not too sure if the link works, I'm using my iPhone right now. But if it doesn't work, go on his twitter and it's the second to last photo. Now, the description says black ops 2 zombies. And it's a map I've never seen before. The colt looks like bo2, but the weird thing is, the hands look like takeo's. like the sleeve part on his wrists. If you didn't know, Fred tatasciore is the voice of Nikolai. Can anyone clear this up maybe?

Just thought of an idea here, but after either Richtofen or Maxis's end game has been done, has anyone been back to the spawn and got back to the floor above to check the rift? I mean, both of them wanted to use it in some way so there's a possibility that it may have changed somehow, and unfortunately i'm still in the process of completing the Easter Eggs so can't check myself. If anyone wants to check this out and let me know on here that would be cool, I am especially interested in Maxis's side as the screen is constantly shaking after finishing his end game and I wonder if it has anything to do with the Rift.

Hey codz, I was thinking earlier about how we could be going to Agartha next as both Maxis and Ricky have a reason to go there. But then I had another thought, what about if we go to the rift. It makes sense to me because Maxis wants to open the rift to get to Samantha, and Richtofen wants to mend the rift for god knows what reason.(Probably because he wants to heal the world so he can rule it properly) I had another reason behind this as well, but I can't remember it at the moment, so ill post it as this

So it seems that Treyarch has really started to improve snipers. The top snipers being DSR w/ ironsight and SVU. They introduced Double Tap II and headshot upgrade and now money shot upgrade too. With these upgrades snipers do easily 4x damage and rack ton of points, somebody counted more than 500 points per ONE kill is possible to achieve. No more are the snipers the worst guns in the box but one of the best!

So I was playing with some friends today when I noticed something. Each character had a visible would. Samuel had one on his arm. Misty has one on her hip. And Marlton has a wound on his shoulder. I saw nothing on Russman. Also, during the beginning, Misty says that she thinks the wounds wont heal. BUM BUM BUMMMMMMMMM!.....Thoughts? I apologize if this as been posted before.

I see people saying that Der Riese and Mob of the Dead and possibly other maps were made by the Campaign Team. And while I don't doubt that, is there any actual evidence that says they did? Like a video or a tweet perhaps? It just seems like people are saying it because everyone else was saying it.

So I've been playing the hell out of Buried lately and I seem to be lucky enough to acquire the Monkey Bomb nearly every game. So, like every player, I threw it and kept playing. However, today I was paying a bit more attention and listened to the sounds it makes. When I threw it, it said "Im Mr Monkey". In Sam's voice. Why is this? I though Sam had lost all control on the zombies and anything to do with them. Isnt that why we hear Richtofen laugh at us when we get the teddy bear in the box? or we hear him announce the power-up drops? So, why do we hear her voice? Any ideas?

Agartha is becoming a really prominent idea for the 4th DLC, as it has been connected to the game for some time now, and maxis directly states in buried that he intends to enter Agartha. If Agartha were to be the map's location, the map likely wouldn't be solely in Agartha. Other areas would be accessible, such as the entrance (or gateway) to Agartha through which our characters enter it. It's possible the characters spawn outside of Agartha, but the majority of the map is in Agartha. Thus the map's "mode" name could gateway. Tranzit is to green run as gateway is to Agartha. Back before bo2 was released, there was a list of leaked zombies gamemodes that included Grief, Meat, Race, Turned, Returned, and No Mans Land. These all must be real as we have seen Grief and Turned came with Revolution, but the Meat gamemodes loading screen was found in the files and we have yet to see it, plus if you look in the games coding, Race on Tunnel can be found which would be a two lane race to the finish line mode. Please respond and tell what you think. Green Run was supposed to be SO much bigger. I really want to see what the gamemodes were. Talk to me and let's see if we can get these gamemodes out. Thanks!

So I would like to see ending for BO2 / Zombies all together being something along the line with these. There would be 3 endings. Richtofen, Maxis and Richtofen's sanity ending. Regardless what the next map brings if you complete Richtofen ending you get cutscene where group of 3 survivors are running away from zombies and eventually get killed. You hear Richtofen laughing and you see the survivors being brought back to life and they start their run from the zombies again. There's been much speculation to where we're going to go next. How are we going to end the game with a bang. Many suggest we're going to the catacombs of Paris. Others claim we're returning to Der Riese. But one thing I believe we can all agree on is that the original characters will be returning. Will Samantha be with or without them? Personally I hope Samantha could be the announcer. But if Samantha doesn't go with the O3, who will? What's going to happen to the N4? So many questions with so much time. I'd love to hear what you guys think about all of this.

Has anyone else had this happen to them? Everytime I go to zombies, either the screen stays black with a number in the top right corner or the menu comes up but freezes. Campaign and Multiplayer both come up perfectly fine. I've tried: Deleting and re downloading the update [DOESN'T WORK] Trying a different game to make sure my Xbox ain't screwed. Signing out. [WORKS!] Signing back in on the zombies menu [FREEZES] So, anyone got a fix for this?

Hey PIGoPRIOR here. I have a small theory for you guys. What if the Sniper Cabinet from Nacht der Untoten was just a weapon locker similar to the one found in GR/GLF/R1295 and just happened to put a Kar98k in it? They both have the basic idea of having a weapon stored within, although they both have obvious gameplay differences. Something to stack on this is the fact that in the iPod version, it has a different weapon (Flamethrower) stored in it. Now I know this was to actually make it useful, but still. What do you guys think? Do you see any connection?

A new Boss round. We have only seen one true boos round and that was in Die Rise. I love these rounds because it gives me a break to do other things like pack a punch or build buildables in piece, or at least a less stressful atmosphere. I don't care if the jumping jacks come back or the hellhounds return. Heck, give us a single boss that is as strong as George, but only comes on the certain round and gives a max ammo and a perk. Whatever it is I just want a way to get a perk, a max ammo, and a faster round for the higher rounds (75+). I don't want a boss that comes during the round like brutus or a mini boss round like the witches. :!:

I signed in today after the update, and it took like 25 minutes for it to load up. I get into the public match menu and I get a message box that said "Downloadable Content Damaged", I look into the store and I see that I have no maps downloaded, however can still play them on the playlist, I also see that my Buried DLC is gone from the planet selection, along with my season pass in the store. I am extremely worried, anyone got any ideas??
