CoDz Code of Conduct
Listed below is the Code of Conduct.
Please don't just read numbered points and say "I'd never advertise!" and skip over it, because there are things you may not realize are categorized as advertising, or anything else, that are and you might have already broken them. If you have any questions regarding this, please ask, and have a good time and be sure to follow the rules!
1. ADVERTISING [ADV]:
Rule: Advertising to other users inside the CoDz Forum, whether it be via a post, personal message, or profile/signature links, to buy or view any products, websites, or other service is strictly prohibited. Non-intrusive links in signatures to personal YouTube accounts may be allowed, but that is case-to-case and each will be reviewed individually.
Consequence: The infringing user’s account will be banned, as well as the IP address. Any post with the intentions of advertising will be immediately and permanently deleted.
Example: If you are a spam bot, a hired advertiser, or a desperate website/business owner, this may apply to you. Signing up and making your only post a promotion for your zombie gameplay YouTube channel is breaking the rule. However simply sending links to a fellow forum goer who wants to know where to buy a capture card is not breaking this rule, PMing your buddy a link to a funny YouTube video isn't, etc.
2. DOUBLE ACCOUNTS [DBLE]:
Rule: Creating another account when a a user already has one account on CoDz is not allowed. There is little to no need for a separate account. If you've forgotten your password and need access back to your main account, use the Forgot Password link. Should there be a logical reason outside of forgetting credentials for the double account, contact a staff member immediately with details of the situation..
Consequence: The secondary account created by the original user will be permanently banned given with evidence of double accounts. In addition, the original account held by the user will be temporarily banned as well. Using the secondary account to avoid a suspension/ban on the main account will result in both accounts being permanently banned.
Example: A user creates a double account because they've been banned. If that account matches up the original user and no case has been made to the staff about the reason for the double account, both accounts will be banned after contacting the user.
3. SPAMMING [SPAM]: Spamming is defined as many things, and all of them aren’t allowed. As a CoDz user, you should hold yourself to a high standard and use common sense when posting.
Duplicate Posts -
Rule: Creating a thread that discusses a topic that has already been brought up in another thread is generally frowned upon, as each user is responsible for finding the pre-existing thread and making their remarks there. Cross-posting violations (making more than one post of the same question/answer across multiple forums) is prohibited.
Consequence: The infringing duplicate thread will be either merged (with the original thread), locked, or deleted, depending on the situation. When dealing with two duplicate threads, the staff will sometimes exercise their own personal judgement with regard to the thread’s posts, to avoid conversations being broken up and posts losing their cohesion, as all the comments in both threads are merged and arranged by the date they were posted.
Cross-posting violations will be dealt with by deleting all cross-posted threads. Users are responsible for figuring out the appropriate section in which to post their topic. If you have any trouble you may ask any staff member for advice!
We always welcome PMs from the users!
Example: If two threads are created that both discuss the exact same element of a newly released Zombie Map trailer, they become ‘duplicate posts’, as they consist of identical, or very similar, material. However, if someone makes a thread about, for example, who they think the Pentagon Thief is, and then someone else makes a thread in which they argue that it is actually someone completely different, they would not be breaking the rule.
Moreover, if someone made a thread that came to the same conclusion as the first user’s thread did, it still wouldn’t necessarily break the rule, as long as they brought new evidence to the table (or reevaluated old evidence) while doing so. If they reach the same conclusion, then they will be merged, in which case the older thread will remain, and the newer thread will become a reply to the older post.
Post Pumping -
Rule: Any user that makes a post just to increase their own post count is considered disruptive to the community, and is interfering with the other members’ usage of the CoDz forum.
Consequence: Violations will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis - some users will be warned verbally by PM, others may receive an official warning, and posts/threads may also be deleted (which will make your post count drop again!). Repeat offenders will suffer a Permanent Ban of their account on the forum.
Example: If a user makes a post saying “I agree,” or “We know,” or something similar and they do not further the conversation or productivity of the thread, that would be grounds for deletion of the post. The specific details of post pumping are left for staff to decide case-by-case, as there are a broad range of possibilities, which are quite dependent on the circumstances.
4. FLAMING [FLAME]:
Rule: Posts, signatures, avatars, or PMs that are intended to harass, threaten, embarrass or cause the distress or discomfort to another member of the CoDz Forum Community or any other individual or entity is unacceptable. (For this reason, the emoticon known as “facepalm” has been removed from the forum.)
Consequence: In some cases, warnings may be issued, but flaming is likely to result in Permanent Banning. It is therefore advisable to always be respectful to your fellow members; this does not mean you cannot disagree with someone, but you do not need to tear a person down in order to prove your point, so be careful with sarcasm! The response “I was only joking” will not get you much sympathy.
Example: If a user says to another on the forum that they are stupid, dumb, illogical, incompetent, etc., that is an example of a user tearing another down, and is considered to be ‘flaming’. Even sarcastically saying “Wow, you’re a bright one, aren’t you..” or “Did you figure that out on your own?” would qualify as a form of harassment.
5. OFFENSIVE CONTENT [OFF]:
Rule: Using offensive language in any context is not allowed here at the CoDz Forum. We believe that our intelligent members can make their points and offer their contributions WITHOUT the necessity of vulgarities. Included in this would be racism, sexism, or any other form of discrimination that may end up causing the distress or discomfort of a user or any group in general. Along with offensive language, displaying or linking to offensive content is not allowed at CoDz. Please be sensitive towards others and how they may react to sensitive material.
Consequence: Posts, signatures, or profiles containing offensive language, content, or links will be edited and/or deleted by the Forum Moderators and Warnings will be issued as appropriate. Repeat violations of this policy may result in more severe actions, up to and including Permanent Banning.
Example: You can come up with your own examples for sensitive language, I trust we all have at least a few in our heads, but simply starring out a letter or putting a strike through the word does not excuse its usage, such as f*ck, sh*t, etc. An example of offensive content could be an avatar of the Twin Towers falling with the caption “Burn baby burn!” This is very offensive to many people, and although it may not be so to you, please respect the feelings of other users.
Examples of offensive links include Pornographic, Racial, Defamation, or any other derogatory content. If it does not pass our CoC do not link to it on our site.
6. SIGNATURES [SIG]:
Rule: A user’s signature may only be 5 lines high, 15 pixels high per line and 65 pixels wide per line. A signature must follow all of the above guidelines concerning offensive language and material, and also concerning advertising.
Consequence: If a user creates a signature that violates the above rules, they will first be contacted and asked to change their signature. If they do not comply, someone will change it for them. Particularly horrid offenses will be dealt with by staff in an appropriate manner.
Example: A “good” signature could contain a few links to some threads (as long as they follow previous rules), zombie round numbers, a small image, or something personal, such as a saying or quote. A “bad” signature would contain any annoying “flashy” .GIFs, or any content that would not comply with previous CoC rules.

I recently played a game where zombies could not hit me .this is true ! I have the game film to prove it as well , now when I say zombies coulndt hit me I quickly discovered that craers were still able to , as well as if I jumped into the air a regular zombie could hit my legs . I would literally stand in the middle of a room and let them swarm me while I knuckled them all . I made it through round twenty of a four player game by myself with no ammo . It satyed for the entire game and I only died due to crawlets . I am curious to know if u this was a real " glitch " or if my class/ equipment or perks or anything had somthing to do with is ? Anybody?

I personally think TranZit could of been much, much more than what it is. I was thinking and have came up with what I envision as a perfect Green Run. I think that the map should be smaller and more interconnected, like Farm would connect to Town and stuff for shortcuts (of course you would have to travel by foot to use these; otherwise, the bus would take you to the normal five stops in order). So starting from the beginning, you start out in the same Bus Depot with the power on with the bus (which can only be used when the power is on) coming around the other side (we'll talk about the "other side" later), but is then shut down in front of the Bus Depot because so…

Hi, I was playing Green Run solo today on ps3 just to look if I could find something new. I played as the character of Marlton. In the past I did the EE of Richtofen and have never switched. I was at the Bus Depot to see what actually happens after round 3 when the ground opens with lava. But in round 3 I shot a zombie with the B23R and after I shot him there was this strange sound. I have a video of it so you can see and hear for yourself. Please let me know what you think of it. P.S. The video has latency, don't know what the problem is, I used theater and rendering from the game itself.

Ok, I was playing tranzit with some friends and try to figure out the new mysteries, then I found 4 powerline and those are cutted and sparkling, locations: (1. bus terminal outside left corner) (2. diner where is that green light and little barn) (3. farm claymore barn that corner where is fence and little door) (4.town near the semtex room) all these 4 powerlines are outside those buildings and we try to put turbines those 4places and power was allready turned on and then we go watch tower of babble and seems like it has changed the morse code?? I've always wondered why at the beginning of Tranzit why the voice says: " Maxis! Now! Complete the device! Do it! " ...who is this talking? And if its Maxis...why does he say his own name? Or is it just Richtofen from when he was still somewhat normal? It doesnt sound like Richtofen to me. Please enlighten me.

Firstly can you do either sides of the easter egg by yourself? And what im wondering is, is the navcard a way of doing the EE on solo so solo players can actually complete it? lke instead of emping streetlights, you have to insert a navcard or something. This just came into my mind Id thought id post. Also could the avagadro or him be a third choice in the EE? Like the morse code could be his voice, and if he shoots the navcard table you can insert the navcard and let him escape?

Last night I was playing a game of Tranzit with my friends, and my friend and I activated the power. I then went to cover the window and noticed green mist in the area behind the barrier. It looked almost like the explosion a Nova 6 crawler leaves behind, idk if is some sort of glitch or if it's a clue to what's in the ventilation systems or the power? Idk I'm just spitballing here guys. Ill provide a picture in a hour or so if it shows up in theater mode. :)

Has anyone noticed that when you drop down into the power station there is a toilet flushing sound? Looks like an outhouse we are dropping in when we drop down into the power room. so we know this pic, right? This picture was taken from WaW zombies(i think, pretty sure) and it has two radio towers and a nuke. The way i see it, this is showing the nuke from nuketown zombies, the Tower of Babble and another radio tower which may appear in one of the next maps. If this is what this means then how did treyarch know that zombies would be such a hit, as veruckt(can't remember spelling, annoying me) was made by demand, and how did they know that nuketown would also be a hit, and that they would make a zombies map of it in 2 years after the MP maps release? Anyone else notice the lack of any hidden hints or clues or references in any of the loading screens? Yea there's a teddy bear under the postcard for town survival but really has anyone noticed anything in any of these postcard loading screens? We all spend tons of time staring at them while a games loading but I have yet to really find anything hidden within them. Anyone see anything or have a theory on anything on these post cards?

Hi Guys, Over the past couple of days I have read through loads of the Zombies theories and I am really intrigued and fascinated by all of the theories that have risen and today whilst playing a game of Tranzit I noticed a few things myself. Petrol Pumps I'll firstly talk about the petrol pumps at the Diner/Gas Station in Tranzit/Green Run. So iam looking at this guys and it seems we have questions still un answered My biggest thought at the moment is that we dont have a solid way of how the characters got to china from the us and it seems that an amount of time has pasted since the missiles hit earth due to the lack of any dust fog and all that would have blanketed most of the planet. and as we can see there appears to be a lack of any thick fog. Hi guys. I think I may have found a persistent upgrade that increases your resistance to lava. At one point, halfway through a zombies Tranzit match, my screen was pulsating similar to when you would jump down from one of the launchpads in the biodome in the Black Ops map Moon instead of my screen's border "catching on fire" whenever I would jump on lava. For the duration of 6-8 pulses, I received no damage (damage in this case is indicated by red, bloody arcs in the middle of your screen). Why is in the tranzit trailer you can clearly see/hear the thrustodyne being charged up and unleashing hell on all the zombies but cant do that in the game. Maybe u could use it to blow down a door or something..

Hi, I've recently been seeing all of these people mentioning new things happening in the DLC, like Shi No Numa being in Revolution and stuff. Well, I'm starting to think that Treyarch putting Nacht into Green Run was just for kicks and gigs. Going back to WaW, the actual map looks nothing like the Nacht in Green Run. You are attacked by zombies in full Nazi uniforms, so unless Green Run, an area located in America, was secretly full of Nazis, then either the original Nacht is non cannon, or the one in Green Run is. I have noticed that ever since I started richtofens quest and built the nav table that the green lamp posts are acting funny. By this I mean that the light seems to have a small green colored ...orbish effect where the light eminates. I am aware of the orbs. As far as I know this is not one of them. This is an effect that seems to only be in the "bulb" of the light. Glitch or what? idk I know some will ask for pics but i havent the slightest idea on how to post images from my ps3 on here. No bs tho.

Alright, so I checked the Die Rise Xbox leaderboards today. There's nothing that I can see on the 2 and 3 player leaderboards. On the solo leaderboards, there are two people, and both their player channels have one game of Die Rise on it (roughly 3 minutes.) I tried to watch it, but I don't have the DLC. What's much more fascinating to me is on the 4-player leaderboards. First off, there are only 3 people on it. This is the Die Rise EE Acheivement. /\ /\ /\ /\ This tells me that the next Easter Egg quest will in fact expand on the theory that we are trying to either block or intercept whatever transmission is coming from Richtofen and Maxxis to actually control the zombies in the way they do. I myself have had the theory that we are in fact attempting to control the brainwashing frequencies that are being broadcast, as we know in multiple instances the group 935 have tried brainwashing via radio waves. I don't think I have seen this anywhere else and searching in the TranZit Discussion form seemed to yield no matching results at all (Maybe I skim read and missed one which if that is the case, I apologize for.) If you go to farm and try to hold X (Xbox), Square (PS3) or F (PC) whilst standing next to and looking at the TV then you can hear a bit of static. If you turn the power on and go back to farm you can hear various characters talking. Does anyone know of a way to reset the EE? I have attempted the EE (both sides it seems) with not so hot players. Haven't achieved the ToB trophy, but with some players I come across the Nav card is built, others it isn't. So, it seems as though I've half completed some steps and I'm kinda lost as to what should happen next for either Maxis or Richtofen EE. Furthermore, it seems I can't hear voices anymore so I have no way to rely on that for direction... How do I reset the EE so I can start over from scratch?

I was just thinking that I forgot to mention protecting yourself with a claymore or two while reviving when it occurred to me that you should be able to fight off a foggie [denizen](trying to revive teammate), drop a claymore, run up and revive, the claymore should take out the next foggie, giving enough time to revive. See, when I am not soloing, I often do 2 man runs and it is impossible, with my buddies skill, to revive him in the fog. It is hard in any 2 man game, but I have successfully defended my saviour in the past. Of course, where he goes down we usually haven't had claymores yet, but in academia-land, this possibility has now been addressed.

I thought that I heard of this here, but I searched and came up empty. I opened the pap, tried to build the battery piece, but it wouldn't work. I built the other two, but I could not build the battery part. It took my gun anyway. I still had the battery, but pap worked after building only two pieces. I had no pieces when I got there, and I definitely only built two.

So I was playing online wit some friends and one of em came up wit the idea that maybe if u put the turbine inside the bank (where u would go to pack-a-punch) it might open up the door in the power room when u drop down. It makes sense, since u have to put the turbine at the power room to open the pack-a-punch. Or another idea is put the turbine in the bank and throw an emp at the "live wires" right in front of that door when u drop down. Idk I haven't been able to get everything done to try it but it seems like that door is use able. I'm kinda a noob, but I've never seen anyone try this before.
