Haha. Imagine that, plant roots. I've got too find the post I made where I talked about this exact same thing.

I can't get enough of this map right now. I'm having a heyday with theories right now. Thank you Treyarch, very much. Der Eisendrache is the response necessary after Black Ops 2, a three year wait, and then a bit of a downer in Shadows. I can't wait to see what kinds of resolutions come to Gersh/Gersch (I suspect he worked at Call of the Dead), Schuster, and maybe even Sophia! I was hoping Black Ops wasn't going to be the best, and wow have you performed. 10/10.

Scarab beetles do go through metamorphosis. There are 4 stages of development : egg, larva, pupa, adult. Although the larva mainly feed on dung, they are also known to feed on plant roots or carrion (decaying flesh of dead animals).

Do the Scarabs go through any kind of Metamorphosis, or Meiosis. I've had a Theory for a long time dealing with exactly that. It would make sense as well being we've got the Embryo, the Larvae, the immature adult. Then an Ovum possibly to start the Re-Birth of the Mature Adult. I know that's probably a long shot, but seems legit to me. ;)
