  1. Hey guys, Tac here! Zetsubou No Shima is upon us and even now, before the map has launched officially, there is a cipher solved. As more and more rolls outs, like radios, more ciphers, and eventually the quotes, I'll throw them all in here. Please note that this thread will be under constant construction, so be patient if something isn't fixed immediately as it likely will soon. Also note that this thread is a small portion of my much larger transcripts thread, which can be found here. Opening Cinematic Trailer Ending Cutscene Radios Codes/Ciphers Scraps

  2. https://goo.gl/LW007i I've created a Google Sheets for anyone interested in seeing what has been done. There are 266 unique characters, which isn't a bad letter count for a homo-phonic cipher, I believe. I can't tell if @Draz missed any pairs when going through it, so I may go back through just to double check. We have the "Character" or the number that corresponds to a character in the far left column, the number of times it appears, the percentage of its appearance based on the entire text and finally speculative values for what they could be. The I/ A's are the only possible values for these because they are single without and commas. That is, if we are going under the assumption that words are divided by lack of commas. And this is going from @Draz's transcript so it could be that there is a comma joining these that I am not aware of. So what I am doing now is going back through to find a path through the numbers and making some guesses at specific letters. I believe I left a frequency of the "words" that appear, which will be good in possibly figuring out potential 4-letter words: https://www3.nd.edu/~busiforc/handouts/cryptography/cryptography%20hints.html

  4. I hope someone on PC will look into the files to get the clearest image for both scrap papers, that would be a good start if it's possible haha. I wonder if the two scrap papers are linked.

  5. @Nieno69 do you think we should get a frequency analysis of each line, for example "206, 717, 929" or every set of numbers like "206", "717" and "929"? I attached a text file into my previous post with every line of numbers and ran a frequency analysis here http://www.online-utility.org/text/analyzer.jsp This page shows every set of numbers instead of the line, so "206", "717" etc. Warning: long post
