  1. Absolutely great read. I wouldn't expect anything less, especially coming from you friendo. I remember us having a light discussion about the crater being made either by the excavation drill, the V2 missile, or the actual nuke in Nuketown. Take a gander at this: At 0:15, note how far off the nuke is being dropped. Now if you replay it a few times, it seems to drop far enough in an equal distance compared to the crater made in Nuketown Zombies. The explosion itself has to be large, which makes sense why the nuke was originally dropped at a very far distance. The impact created an extremely large crater, and would definitely unearth all that Element 115 which would later be investigated/extracted. The question of why soldiers are fighting in Nuketown is a very interesting one. Aside the whole "Multiplayer maps are not entirely canon" ordeal, it would seem strange for the Spetsnaz soldiers to be fighting with US soldiers in a training facility. Needless to say, that nuke was not dropped by mistake. What makes it interesting is that if there were something of value within Nuketown, why would the nuke decide to be dropped during a fight? To me (this is a far stretch), it seems as though the U.S. did not want to risk the Spetsnaz from retrieving something within Nuketown. In order to prevent that, the U.S. may have deliberately killed both them and their own American soldiers to prevent such an event from happening. Sacrificial lamb, you might call it. Looking at this intrigues me. Let's say that the "MEANWHILE..." is in relation to the events of Nuketown Zombies. Note that the pyramid -shortly after flying through space - is now seen planted on the Moon's surface. It appears as though the four astronauts are coming out of that temple...or at least one of them is. We can't call them the O4 yet because we know that we spawn right in No Man's Land, in front of Hangar 18. Why travel to the Moon via pyramid, go to Area 51, only to come right back? It doesn't make much sense. What is known from this image, however, is that the pyramid is probably still on the Moon a good distance away from Griffin Station. I'm reflecting back on this and it makes me wonder: if we have one temple sitting just outside of the Moon base, and the MPD within the base itself, doesn't that account for two pyramids? Sure, they aren't the exact same thing but it seems peculiar and odd to have them both near one another. The excavation drill is spot on. For what purpose would [they] have to excavate the Element 115, I don't know.

Thanks @way2g00d for the feedback. I have been wondering if it was just my computer. I think that there is too much content. Can you view the Black Ops & BOII Libraries? Cause there is probably more content in them than the WaW Library.

@PINNAZ, no problem. Ya, I am sure it is because of the images and their loading times. Which is why I suggested perhaps adding spoilers. Don't know if that will help to be honest.

And sorry I can't answer your question regards to what BO2/BO or waw. Everytime I click on that thread, I hit that 3 finger salute and kill firefox because I don't like waiting more than 5 seconds. :)

We can talk offline via Pm if you like, or on skype, I am always willing to help you with any help you need with this library.

  2. Welcome back to the undead realm, friendo! Stick around, cause there's lots of awesome stuff going on this month. Glad to have you back.

  4. Why exactly did you guys make this change? I personally never had a problem with any of the signatures apart from gifs and that one time EJ had this huge Portal signature. I don't like it. : ( We're trying to make each person's post easier to maintain in terms of size. While most of our regulars generally don't have a problem with that, there needs to be certain limits on size. It's not like content is being restricted; just the size to prevent extremely large posts because people cram everything into their signatures. Hope you understand.
  5. Black Ops seals the deal for me. World at War comes very close because I personally love the eerie factor in all the maps (plus the fantastic arsenal of WWII weapons). But Black Ops has more creative edge over the other titles both in maps, arsenal, story arc, and replay-ability. Where else would you think of killing Zombies on the Moon with a Wonder Weapon that not only zaps them, but also microwaves their insides until they burst?
  6. I thought this was common knowledge, but it's always fun to witness a historic event and suddenly make the connection in front of your eyes. It's like...like magic! What's funny is that those prisoners are said to still be alive (unless they died of age or something else). There would be absolutely no way of escaping the island anyhow because the cold, harsh waters would freeze them before making it to shore. It's considered the biggest prison break in history, and to have it unfold in a mode like Zombies but with a twist is...well, cleverly done.
  7. The freshmeat has just rolled in - Boom and Slade. There is no escaping the hazing- I MEAN trials of acceptance. ;)

  10. I still think you're misunderstanding me. Of course hitting a rock full of 115 with a rocket and expecting it to go airbourne is ridiculous. Try poking one of those air freshener bottles with something sharp and see what happens to you. I wasn't saying that the rockets hitting the element would just magically make it airbourne. Rather, it still hits the Earth but you have to understand that when the element is radiated (because it is volatile and completely unstable in pure amounts) then it can be leaked. That's all I said. Never said that the element does anything extraordinary aside reanimate the dead and contribute to the space/time effect. But I can see what you're saying about Vril energy. Believe me, it's not far from plausible at all. Now, however, we also have to consider ethereal energy (which is correlated to Agartha).
  11. I never did say that the rockets contained Element 115. Hence, why I used the word "unearth". We know that it could be excavated, that there were some meteorites which landed on Earth several decades before Element 115 was fully discovered. The element laid within the Earth - the rockets hit the Earth, open it up, and allowed it to disperse with an airborne effect (and most possibly other forms of matter as well).
  12. You know, that whole rocket idea would fit in the storyline perfectly. But it's too bad that it's not the case. And it's not "completely destroyed" because fortunately we have Green Run. The world was not obliterated - just fragmented. People still lived on it despite the condition it was in. For some odd reason, people assume that the world just blew up entirely and there was nothing left but floating chunks of rocks. And while that is still true, those who survived it all still continued to live despite the outbreak. And as @swappingspit said, the rockets caused more zombies. They were not, however, the direct cause; just the catalyst. By killing thousands (if not millions) of people and unearthing the Element 115 into the air, zombies could be born to cause more destruction along the way.
  13. Buy it. Worth the money, worth the time, worth the everything. It's one of those DLC that you can always come back to. Mob of the Dead is probably one of the best for hitting high rounds, and comes with an awesome arsenal (Hell's Retriever, Blundergat, return of traps) that draw you in. Not to mention that it brings back the eerie, distorted ambiance that Zombies had back during the World at War days.
  14. Now where did I leave my spleen...oh that's right, I laughed so hard it fell on the floor.
  15. Sounds like a good setup to me. I would honestly like - in some fashion - to see the remaking of Zombies when the outbreak started to happen (i.e. World at War). Consider making flashbacks like Black Ops II did, where certain events that were completed/failed would trigger alternate endings or scenarios. Obviously you can't control too much of the past but there are several grey areas which the community has basically created their own origins behind some concepts. Plus, it gives us the ability to use WWII-esque weapons that we have so much nostalgia for.
  16. Welcome to the family, friendo! You've already been debriefed and warmly welcomed, so cheers to much more! Enjoy your stay, don't hesitate to ask questions or get involved in the many discussions we have ranging from theoretical zombie posts to bowing before the chicken sandwich gods.
  17. Welcome to the family, friendo! May 23rd was such a long time ago, y'know? Glad you could come on board once again. Enjoy your stay, and keep on slayin'.
  18. Let's see. Theres a girl in a magical Moon pyramid and her father has told her to kill everyone. Their original Plan was to eliminate Maxis and Samantha once she was removed from the Pyramid. This was Richtofen's orders. However once Maxis told Samantha to kill everyone Maxis Became the only thing that could possibly talk samantha out of killing every single member of 935. Thus he BECAME Important to the scientists. And suddenly the scientists are supposed to know about the MPD's powers and what would become of Samantha from then on? Good possibility, but it's not there yet. They realized Maxis wanted them all - including Richtofen - dead. At that point in time, it would be simple for one of the scientists to kill Maxis upon hearing that statement. Because in their minds, why would they kill Samantha when they are primarily focused on Maxis?
  19. 1) Maxis didn't kill the zombies himself. If you listen to the radios carefully, he orders for them to be killed. Such as the radio of the first responding zombie in Kino der Toten. There is no other evidence stating that he physically destroyed them himself. Now if you can supply actual evidence from the radio itself via Soundcloud, YouTube, or something, then I'll back off on that. 2) No evidence of Maxis killing himself is made clear in the Moon radio. He simply tells Samantha to kill them all followed by a gunshot. You can't call an abrasive hypothesis a fact because it seems like the only options available (when it certainly isn't). For all we know, one of the scientists could have killed him on accident. To this day there is no true cause behind it. 3) Scientists knowing/not knowing what the MPD is capable of is irrelevant to Maxis' death. Their only inclusion into the scenario is being there when Maxis died. 4) As mentioned above. Maxis never knew of the MPD; he may have researched around it but he did not know it actually existed until being brought to Griffin Station. Samantha did not know either, despite being in the device up to that point. She was still a mortal being in her own body, unattached to the Aether. Maxis' death was the trigger to execute the device, thus she began her reign.
  20. This is one hell of a awesome concept for a challenge. I'll see if I can grab a team to try this. I would think 2 hours is well enough to escape but just maxing out my stats early on is going to be crazy.
  21. Calm yourself, Mega. You are entirely missing Chopper's point. The point is not that he won't click the ads. Nobody has said anything about clicking ads; yes, it generates revenue to support the server costs. We made no rule about it nor are we enforcing it on people to do so. To be frank, we don't care if you ever click the ad. Someone is bound to click it by accident one way or another - whether it be staff, a regular, or a guest. What we do appreciate, however, is if people turn off their Ad Block for us. That's all we requested, not demanded. Chopper is upset at how chocolate seemed to boast that he would never click an ad. That attitude is what's so concerning, not the fact he refuses to click an ad. He could have never said that and there wouldn't be such a reply to it. Like you said yourself - you don't feel the need the give money away to support abused animals, yet it doesn't necessarily mean you enjoy the case of abused animals. In fact, no such negative comment needs to ever be made. Tl;dr: If you don't want to click an ad, don't worry about it. There is no need to claim that you won't. It's neither helpful nor beneficial nor making anything better.
  22. Just as Craig was saying, we gain revenue when an ad is clicked. None of our members have to click an ad, nor do we suggest it. Either way, we have them put up because it still generates extra finances to help keep the server up and running. They are there to be there; if you never click an ad then it doesn't affect us to be quite frank. It's like saying we have a bag of candy on the ground and it's covered in dirt. You will be reluctant to pick it up but someone is bound to come by and grab it. (Horrible analogy, I know haha)
