  1. Something interesting about Non Sapwe (from Wikipedia):
  2. Not for us Hardcore - all those weapon balances will be our demise!
  3. You don't know Hell until you've tried hitting the burning Apothicon symbols with the Fire Bow at least 30 times per game. At 500 points a pop, you're gonna have a bad time.
  4. Balanced improvements on the bows? I smell an Electric Bow nerf. Or hell, maybe even the Wolf Bow getting a little buff. I believe those were the two upgraded bows listen in the patch if I'm not mistaken. And holy crap, look at all the weapon and Specialist nerfs in Multiplayer. Looks like we're going to have a bad time.
  5. Alright, alright friendos - I think the point has been made clear. The boat from the ZNS intro cinematic was thought to have some similarity with CotD's freighter, and could've had some connection. Based on physical and theoretical evidence, however, they only share some characteristics of a regular floating vessel but no connection is made. One thing that should be mentioned though, since it seems like a recurring thing: when someone posts a topic, their ideas are always welcome for discussion. If you individually believe that the thread is lacking in support and doesn't meet some particular qualitative standard, there are two things that you can do: Ask the OP for better evidence to support their claim Let the thread die out I see both sides of the coin here, believe me - I do. And sometimes the reality of the matter can be brutally honest. I'm glad everyone takes pride in seeing more fruitful content. But think of it this way: how can something so basic as a question become an engaging discussion that may lead to discovery if the ideas are quickly shut down? This thread will now be locked since the question has been answered, and I highly doubt more discussion could be made on this topic. If you have questions regarding anything that's been mentioned by me or others in this thread, feel free to come to Papa Festo.
  6. Well, they sent one rocket to the Moon with the Dempsey from this timeline, so there goes one rocket. If this is still during the near-end of World War II (a version of which the Germans have been very successful in might I add), these seem like ballistic missiles designed to annihilate any particular area of the world. In reality, most ballistic missiles required VERY well-calculated measurements to strike an area even less than halfways around the world, and that was considered the maximum realistic standard. But given the power of Element 115, it looks more like Group 935 was making the rockets able to go around the entire world...and perhaps even beyond that.
  7. Welcome to the family friendo!
  8. If you got lucky with the new Black Market melee weapons - specifically the Wrench, Iron Jim, and Butterfly Knife - then you will want Overdrive [Ruin] with the footsteps tracker perk and Overcharge perk. Instant killing machine that can't be taken down. I personally use the War Machine. Something about angling a shot that will ricochet off the wall perfectly to drop four little explosives on an entire team during Domination is so appetizing. Or if you're man enough, get rekting on the enemy by using the HIVE. Those things will easily net you 4 kills without breaking a sweat and add more onto your scoresteaks. With Overcharge, it's a beast.
  9. If I'm not camping in the Church stairs with the barricades still blocking the doorway, I'm training either near the Death Ray or in front of the Church. I like the Death Ray spot more because I have several outlets pf survival - one insta-kill trap (and protector when the Panzer rolls in), a Launch Pad to another great training spot (Rocket Test Site), three possible exits, and a potential PaP machine. It's very close though so you're be blowing through your ammo consistently. If I'm running this spot, I like to have an MP5 as my point-whoring weapon. There is a circular area in front of the church that also works pretty well, with the same benefits as the Death Ray route. This one is tougher in my opinion because while you have a larger radius to control your trains in, the zombie spawns are positioned in such a way that you're bound to get blocked. This is why you absolutely need an upgraded Bow; nothing is worse than seeing that tiny path between a wall and the center debris closed off by two crawlers. And honestly, the pyramid room is insanely tough to train in. When the anti-gravity kicks in, you can't exactly jump over the zombies since they'll Shaq-attack your ass immediately.
  10. It depends on which bow you're going for and how long you're playing the match. If you're aiming for higher rounds, then the Bows are worth the time and effort. Anything else outside the Easter Egg is pointless considering that this map was not designed for guns in mind (which says a lot to be honest). You will NEED something to clear crowds out considering how narrow most of the map is with getting from one place to another.
  11. Gotta say, I enjoy how serious they made this trailer. I'm not saying that all the other intro cinematics were corny in any way, but this just felt much darker and...realistic? As if movie quality. I wish it were just a little bit longer, just to get the feel of them really fighting off a good-sized portion of a Japanese squadron. 8/8 g8 b8 m8
  12. Welcome to the community, friendo! Glad to see you use Twitch - consider linking up with our CoDz profile when you have the chance. Oh, and those rad blue guys summed up what was going to be said. But welcome and enjoy your stay!
  13. That's what you get for playing on PC. Nah but seriously, that looks pretty intriguing. It's designed like any other snowflake in the distance, but considering each snow particle is moving in a different formation, perhaps this is "the odd one out"?
  14. @Hells Warrrior I can finally use the DG4!! Huzzah!
  15. Did you make sure to re-do the wisp step before you activated the charging step? @Hells Warrrior and I made the mistake of whizzing past rounds trying to charge the Keeper only to find out we didn't do the wisp step a second time. Also, make sure to do it PRIOR before you even begin the Keeper step. Trust me - those Hellhounds will be the bane of your existence.
  16. As I keep repeating the Easter Egg, I get more disappointed with the monotonous steps that Treyarch as recycled to make the quest seem "fuller". How many times do we have to endure "kill X amount of zombies" steps during an EE? The Keeper charging step is one thing, but the upgrade your bows using the kill limit twice only to have it reappear again later on? It gets tiresome. And the whole one-try-per-round step is quite infuriating. All it does is punish you for not being quick enough to complete a certain objective or for failing to do it correctly. C'mon, at least just reset the step and make us do it again - don't have us wait an ENTIRE round just to kick it back up resulting in an Easter Egg that'll make you finish at like Round 29. Incredulous. Surely I can't be the only one getting irritated with this approach? I'm not even mad at the creativity behind the quests; just annoyed on the process of certain elements of progression.
  17. I was scared to hear that I needed to slam my Ragnarok. :( But now I know for next time!
  18. We may never know if it were a size issue. But the bridge IS shown in the intro cinematic with the crew walking underneath it. Judging from the rest of the bridge on the other side, it appears to lead nowhere (and is for perspective purposes). I can't tell you how many times I've tried mashing the X button when first hopping into the map, in hopes that I could magically clear the debris like other areas.
  19. I agree completely. However, opening the MPD doesn't necessitate a soul leaving it. As we have seen in the Moon Easter Egg, you have to acquire the Vril Device filled with energy, collect enough souls to replace the souls, and hit a switch. I don't think that process even remotely happened when Sam first entered the pyramid. But you are right that there was something before her. Richtofen accidentally touched the pyramid when he first teleported to the moon and got shocked, thus hearing voices and becoming insane later on. It would be wrong to say there isn't anything tied to the MPD, but the question is this: did touching the pyramid cause Richtofen to initiate contact with said voices, despite there being nothing within it? Possibly.
  20. Actually, in Origins, Samantha resided within Agartha and could have very well been in control of the zombies. Alongside that, the Ancient Evil still presided in Agartha at the very same time. I theorized long ago that the Evil was using Samantha as a scapegoat to let the NO4 help them escape their eternal prison in order to overtake the universes. Once freed, Samantha went back into her respective universe whereas the Evil was free to roam and bring destruction. Being in the MPD doesn't necessarily mean that you're the controller indefinitely; it's just another channel for power in the ethereal realm. Think about it this way: who controlled the zombies prior to Samantha being in the MPD? We assume the Ancient Evil, yet we know no one was within the MPD when she took refuge in it. It all varies on where one could obtain ethereal power. That being said, we're dealing with a multiverse, which means that Samantha can still very well be in control - although it's not the same Samantha we are trying to save. Different universes, different people. Hope that makes sense.
  21. I've been having a major bug that prevents me from ever finishing a game or even playing it through successfully - because of the Ragnarok buildable. It seems that every time I use it for the smash ability, I automatically get disconnected from the game entirely. It's happened ever since I downloaded the DLC [I have the Season Pass on Xbox One] and it's infuriating to the point where I have forced myself to no longer use it. As far as I know, no one else has encountered this bug, and it's game breaking for me. I would like to think it's my internet acting up but oddly enough, I never get disconnected from any DE match I've had thus far unless I use the Ragnarok. Hopefully someone could lead me in the right direction, or maybe someone has dealt with this on any given console yet and knows a good quickfix?
  22. Congrats on the...slightly discolored cyan robes, friendos! Now be nice and share - there's enough room for everyone.
  23. Welcome to the family, friendo!
  24. It came out like an hour ago, but thank goodness, cause I'm back in black baby. Oh Zombies, how I've missed you.
  25. I like this idea very much - anything that gets the entire community in on the actions is a green thumbs up from me.
