Whoops! Was in such a rush to get the details worked out that I made that mistake. Thanks for pointing it out, friendo. :)

Would you even go as far as saying the voices Edward Richtofen hears from touching the MPD is actually Eddie being instilled in him? Far-fetched, yes. Just food for thought.

The sequence of numbers do not change. So for instance, on the first wall is 11 and 5. The second wall is 9, 7, and 6. The third wall is 3 with 4 being the last dot which is always lit.

Good stuff yourmapper! I took a little swing at it with the given maps from an in-game shot. Unfortunately I don't have an HD recording device so the map isn't definite but I managed to add a few things onto it.

*POLL* BLOPS II Wrap Up: Persistent Upgrades
InfestLithium replied to AlphaOmega's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I'm giving mad props to the Quick-er Revive upgrade. I generally like to keep my teammates up, but this handy thing makes the process 200% faster with Quick Revive at hand. The only downside is playing with a stillborn (someone who isn't playing/AFC). The second option for me is definitely the Steel Barricades. Believe it or not, this proved useful in Tranzit during long challenges in the bus. Gives you more time to grab ammo and keep your focus. -
Origins EE "Little Lost Girl" Written Steps + Staffs
InfestLithium replied to Ehjookayted's topic in Origins
A few updates: - for the Zombie Blood step, you do not need to be a certain character - same step can be done with one Zombie Blood drop given you used it near Excavation Site - all staffs can be upgraded at the same time during the spirit-filling process -
The search page is here: search.php Why this option is hidden, I don't exactly know. It should be at the top links somewhere but it may need some fiddling around with. When someone says "search the forum", it's more of someone just needing to look through a few pages within a forum to see if what they want to talk about has already been discussed. User Control Panel > Profile tab > Edit account Settings will take you to your account section where you can update your new password. It says to enter your new password followed by your current one. The avatar uploader is specific in regards to dimensions. You can't upload any images beyond 140x149 (width x height in pixels). Unlike other forum softwares, phpbb doesn't automatically resize it if it's too big so it flat out denies the upload. Weird, huh? Either be at that exact dimension or lower to ensure you upload your avatar successfully. I hope this helps. :)

Please! Ultimate Lightning Staff Help, Puzzle Won't Work
InfestLithium replied to TheRealMistyBriarton's topic in Origins
Also, make sure you have finished upgrading the other staffs first or have the Staff of Lightning be the first one you do. I've had many instances where the step won't register because another step for a different staff is being done at the same time. -
I've gotten the Golden Shovel exactly at 30 digs. Used my computer's calculator to add every dig I made.
-
Looks like you found the missing piece. :)
-
You can't unless you have something like the Boomhilda or some Claymore. Just dig into a corner or area, have two Claymores ready for when he steps into an entryway, then lock onto his head with the Boomhilda. Easy kill, even if you get clawed in.

Please! Ultimate Lightning Staff Help, Puzzle Won't Work
InfestLithium replied to TheRealMistyBriarton's topic in Origins
Some combinations I remember: F-A-C E-G-B F-A-D Recall that this "piano" starts with C and ends with B. So it's more like this: C-D-E/F-G-A-B Where the / mark is when there is not flat or sharp keys a.k.a. top triangles. You won't ever need those keys so ignore them for now. When you do a set, it doesn't go away unless you step back a few feet (kinda down the little rampway) and wait for it to flicker off. That is the signal that you have done it right. If the sparks don't turn off, then you haven't done it right. This is the problem that most people do not do. -
Origins EE "Little Lost Girl" Written Steps + Staffs
InfestLithium replied to Ehjookayted's topic in Origins
You probably don't need to be. I just recall going into Zombie Blood a few times and not seeing any zombie there, yet hearing them. Then you manage to kill one and voila - step done. -
Afterburner with the Boomhilda as my secondary. Since I always use Mule Kick, I tend to use my slot for the upgraded Staff of Wind. Perks are Juggernog, Speed Cola, Stamin-Up, Mule Kick, Double Tap II (from reward crate). I enjoy using my upgraded Bracers/new melee weapon for close-quarter combat. Perhaps even the Lightning Strike Monkey Bomb with Semtexes.

Origins EE "Little Lost Girl" Written Steps + Staffs
InfestLithium replied to Ehjookayted's topic in Origins
Did you trying starting a new round? Or did you hear Samantha say a quote about finding the spirit in the sky? I know that anyone can use the Zombie Blood to look for the glowing plane, but the second Zombie Blood step [might] use(s) Takeo only. -
I agree with Charles. The quote by Vaughn was that it is a perspective from Samantha. This may very well mean that Origins is what she imagined (although the framework of the audio logs, ciphers, and backstory are consistent). At the same time, however, the events of later maps become a reality some time after the cutscene. Consider it being everything that she toyed actually does happen later down the road. MMX crafted a beautiful explanation behind Samantha's control and actual action before control here. This is a great theory on the subject at hand and it's hard not to create a reason without connecting to this in some way.

Bear in mind that zombies in Origins are 200% smarter than what we're accustomed to. If they go even around you by a few inches, the hits register at your sides rather than your back. The problem is their pathing and not necessarily the shield itself. But when it comes to durability, the shield does not provide strong offense like it used to.

What map has the best atmosphere?
InfestLithium replied to jameslieb1's topic in General Zombies Discussion
At this moment, it's a close call between Shangri-la and Origins. Shangri-la has a rich and beautifully designed environment that gives off the perfect Indiana Jones vibe. The details in the textures are amazing alongside the flow of the game mechanics. There is just some magic in the map that makes the entire map feel...ancient and mystique. Origins has the devastated and ruined look that I love oh so much. I have an odd, personal attachment towards an environment that makes playing in an apocalyptic surrounding feel so good. It's has such a large and open map landscape yet vividly displays World War I with all the zombie additions to it. I love it. -
It's not all that hard to stop them. I'm quite certain that you should have at least enough points to re-power the generators or to hold out a bit and go for them when in the clear. I tend to stick around Generator 4 or 5 because I can path my way fairly easily after going down. The trick is to have a weapon handy that can clear these guys out. If you have a staff, Staff of Wind/Frost will do you just fine as it stuns them and finally blows 'em back. Otherwise, whipping out an STG/Ak74 will work well with them. Have Claymores around important generators so when the Templars are back in town, you have not only the ones in your inventory but additional ones as well to keep them (and the other zombies) away from your precious.

Origins EE "Little Lost Girl" Written Steps + Staffs
InfestLithium replied to Ehjookayted's topic in Origins
That's good stuff, friendo! I know that having the upgraded Bracers will also show elemental effects as well depending on what Staff you had in your arsenal. :) -
Instant Kill drops up the damage counter on him. This makes it much easier to take him down with a few bullets. When I did the Easter Egg with some friendos, we had to kill of the 6 Panzer Soldats and let me tell you - having an Instant Kill made taking 'em out 20x easier. Staff of Fire works magical wonders too, by the way. Just make sure you're getting a clean shot on him. I wouldn't use it if I were getting reeled in, though. I have to agree with Way that Boomhildas are perfect for these minotaurs.

Origins EE "Little Lost Girl" Written Steps + Staffs
InfestLithium replied to Ehjookayted's topic in Origins
I understand your point. As I said before, the vast majority of stickied threads pertaining to a particular topic were conversion threads. I'm going to use your official Ranking example. When we started to fool around with ranks in Black Ops II, the threads you'd see about ranking weren't complete. It was always "why am I still rank X and not rank Y?" Which led people to say the same thing over and over. Another thread would come up and shut down the other ranking topics. It's not clean to have hundreds of ranking topics all saying the same thing. Thus, a master thread had to be created to avoid this problem. Nobody is locking people out when it comes to these things. If you have something professionally posted and detailed, it will more than likely be stickied. Stickies alone don't make a thread ultimate, though. It's quality of the thread versus who posted it. -
Origins EE "Little Lost Girl" Written Steps + Staffs
InfestLithium replied to Ehjookayted's topic in Origins
Fixed, and cleaned up. The thread was originally to discuss Easter Egg information. We have done this procedure. Yes, it is seemingly wrong to jump the gun and force everything into this one thread as that was not the original intention of this. At the same time, you won't find other guides because they too are vague and generally use the same information or extremely little to no detail. This was more of a conversion thread that prevents a cluster of "how to do easter egg" threads all saying the same thing since the topic alone gained several comments on members helping one another out. P.S. Credit was given where due initially. Just because a staff member posts the thread and stickies it does not mean they are getting all the brains. -
Just saw this cutscene in-game with PINNAZ, way2g00 and Naitrax. Just wow; it's different live than it is in just a regular YouTube video. What I find paradoxical is that Samantha claims that her heroes were given good fortune and she protected them. Wasn't she the one in her own story that vowed to torture these same characters and kind of give them hell in their future? The whole cutscene was such a large metaphor, that it's difficult to believe everything is linear or holding true within one timeline. Not saying that this an alternate timeline in Zombies, but we're dealing with multiple breaking points. You can't just have multiple instances such as zombie figures from future maps and still claim that she decided to switch around her own story. That's only lying to yourself to say you're okay with such an action. I've heard things about Edward not having his turn. But you can see Samantha playing with a Resolution 1295 zombie, which happened under Richtofen's control. The tally marks may tell us that he had a bit of influence over it. Hell - he even says "I think they should have blue eyes". Could that "tomorrow" Samantha speaks of be where Edward finally had his chance in Moon? It doesn't follow so smoothly, though. And what is the time to make things right? Edward pursuing control in his own story, or amending to Samantha's? Hmmm, the questions are just too damn high.
