  1. It takes approximately 23,800 points total to open every blockade, get Juggernog, a Wall Weapon, and Generators 4 & 6. That means 8,000 points per person for a 3-player game and 6,000 points per person for a 4-player game. This setup is extremely helpful for doing the Easter Egg. The Golden Shovel can be achieved by digging up a certain amount of dirt mounds. I usually get it by Round 14 or so. The Golden Helmet can be obtained by constantly digging with your Golden Shovel. It appears automatically next to the shovel icon, so it's not in the form of a drop. Shooting the Panzer Soldat with the Staff of Fire is highly effect for taking him down. The Maxis Drone can give you a free, Pack-a-Punched MG08. Find four tiny circles located across the map in obscure places and use the drone to collect the data. There are four locations total: at the top floor of the church, on top of a wooden stilt near the Pack-a-Punch machine, at the top of the destroyed house near Generator 4(Stamin-Up area), and in a pile of flaming debris in the trenches a little after getting out of spawn. Tire of running through the mud? Jumps not quick enough? Sprint while jumping (jump and use hitstick) or jump backwards. This becomes amazing when having Stamin-Up. The foot of the giant robots can sometimes be broken and allows entry into them. Look for lights on the bottom of the feet prior to it coming towards your location. If you have the Golden Helmet, you won't die after getting stomped on. Claymores deal massive damage to Panzer Soldats, but won't kill them instantly. The Bracers (aka Thunder Fists) stop OHK-ing after Round 18/19. You can find out where the Wunderfizz is at every time if you look in different directions at the sky. A lightning bolt will come down quickly once where it is located. It will not occur again unless you shift your camera angle once more. There are small, red lights located where a giant robot steps on. These light up when the robot is very close giving you a last-second chance to get out. There are several MP40s throughout the map. You may want to hold onto one no matter how powerful you think your arsenal is. And Afterburner (Pack-a-Punched MP40) always makes a great tool for taking down Panzer Soldats. Panzer Soldats' vice grips are tough to break free from. The arm in which they claw you in has a red light. Shoot that light and you will be let go instantly.
  2. They seem to have the same difficulty all throughout the Black Ops II maps, but with more troublesome spawn points. They can come from the ground, outside of the map's debris, and through regular barricades. I've noticed also that the zombies will run straight but go to your side last second so you can just conga line them anymore. A Zombie Shield is a must in order to survive past Round 17. It doesn't help that they are immune to the effects of the mud. A little tidbit I noticed: if someone is on a tank and you happen to be nearby, they sprint almost twice as fast and can still swipe at you even when you're not on the tank. Be careful.
  3. Also try look at the top and inside the site. I've heard people say that he might get stuck somewhere inside the area.
  4. Nobody screaming like little girls when you held one of the Staffs for the first time? I know I did when I picked up the Staff of Wind. As well as the Bracers. :P
  5. It's worse now that we have Panzer Soldats and giant robots. Because to the average player, zombies just wasn't hard enough and it was too easy to get into the high rounds *coughburiedcough*.
  6. 115 is responsible for numerous actions that we don't exactly understand. We know that it can distort time and space. Mob of the Dead is the example of the controller (Lucifer) removing things from their respective timelines and placing them where they do not belong. We've seen what happens to those objects that are displaced. Did it need 115? Not necessarily. It's hard to believe that 115 would simply take a few blood samples from mobsters and throw them into a WWI-era. All we have is numbers that are similar with broken connections. Doesn't mean it's not plausible of course! Blood is blood. Don't know how more descriptive you can get than that. Nobody needs to accept a theory because it's the only one. It could be no connection for all we know, and just a nod towards Mob of the Dead. I would believe that Richtofen somehow managed to get his hand son their blood but considering that he does not have much experience in 115-research as much as Maxis did, I wouldn't be so fast to hit the buzzer just yet.
  7. You can build all your staffs minus the Staff of Fire (since that requires Generator 6 to be powered on).
  8. The Staff of Fire torches are still a pain in the arse. I remember seeing someone post an image translating the dot to the correct numbers. My dots don't light up at all so I know I'm missing something yet I got the "Secure the keys" quote.
  9. Sometimes if he's in front of the tank while you are on top of it, he'll just stay in place as well. It sucks half the time because he might face away from you which makes it 20x tougher to take him down.
  10. What do we have so far? I'm just going off of what people have stated to be true, so don't mind me babbling here for a bit. 1) Samantha will begin to speak by Round 5. 2) Find all staff part locations. There are four staffs total - fire, air, lightning, and frost. Fire staff: [*:2mocnon0]CD: within the 1st floor of the church on top of some crates [*:2mocnon0]kill Panzer Soldat first time [*:2mocnon0]shoot down a glowing plane in the sky; follow where the part drops [*:2mocnon0]activate Generator 6 and the part will be within the reward crate Wind staff: [*:2mocnon0]CD: near Generator 5 and the entrance to the cavern, on top of a broken wagon/crates [*:2mocnon0]enter through giant robot going to church side [*:2mocnon0]enter through giant robot going through the middle of the field (near Juggernog) [*:2mocnon0]enter through giant robot going through Speed Cola area Lightning: [*:2mocnon0]CD: ? [*:2mocnon0]while on tank (moments after first getting on), look to the right as you are crossing the field from the excavation site to the trenches and a lone little structure with stairs will be there; jump onto the ledge [*:2mocnon0]while on tank (after 1st stop at tank station), look to the left when reaching the excavation site and jump onto a small ledge leading into the ruins [*:2mocnon0]while on tank (directly before going into church), look to the right and jump onto a small hill slope that leads to the to floor of the church Frost: [*:2mocnon0]CD: inside shelves within tank station (trenches) [*:2mocnon0]dig up dirt mound [*:2mocnon0]dig up dirt mound [*:2mocnon0]dig-dug the dirty mound 3) Once the part are collected, build the gramophone (can even be built before steps). The black disc is usually either on top of some broken wall outside the excavation site where the rounding narrow walkway is, or it's sitting inside a wheelbarrow right next to the Pack-a-Punch machine. The gramophone is inside the site as you descend down between some tables. 4) Place the gramophone on the table in the excavation site to unlock the lower levels. 5) Grab the gramophone once more and have each player go to their designated caverns. Place the gramophone on the tables and enter the Crazy Place. 6) In the middle of the Crazy Place are four elemental pillars. Only one person at a time can retrieve their crystal. 7) Once a player has their parts and crystal, go back to the lower sanctum of the excavation site and build the staffs. When all staffs have been built, Samantha will say that it is time for "Step 1". 8) Complete the challenges for each staff. So far, this is what I've seen most people get far into. There are smaller things around as well but there is no pure indication as to where those tidbits belong in the steps so far.
  11. The difficulty of this map is perfect. Hard, but not ridiculous for the wrong reasons. There is a bad re-spawn glitch, though. More than half the time, I spawn on top of someone else and it causes me to go down.
  12. Note that it's much easier to inflict damage to him if you use the Staff of Frost or get lucky with a robot stomp. It's relatively easy to get him to try and reach for you with his extendable claw - it leaves him open for a few seconds.
  13. The gramophone parts are in and around the Excavation Site. The disc is typically around the outside stairs wedged in between the crates or stones (where the lowest walkable areas are). The gramophone itself is within the site as you descend downwards. Once you use it, you can pick it back up and place it at any other cavern. The Ice Staff needs, needs, needs the crystal for certain in the Crazy Place. There are four main pillars in the middle of that room, with the ice pillar holding the crystal.
  14. Placing the Phonograph near the Crazy Place acticates a gateway to Agartha. Here, there are four coloured sections of the dimension. You will need the four staffs. You can access a special power depending what element you discover and teleport yourself back. There is a radio that doesn't seem to activate. Placing the Phonograph in the Archaeological Ruins opens the ruin chambers, where you must place the four staffs.
  15. Round 5 activates Samantha's talking.
  16. I knew Elena would be back. It was only a matter of time before we saw our beloved again.
  17. The song by activating the green rocks is amazing, just saying. There is an order that I believe you have to activate them by if I recall correctly.
  18. Bear in mind that there is usually a 15 +/- grace period for each time zone. For instance, you might have one person have the DLC ready to download around 2:45 PST, yet someone else might have started 15 minutes before or after you.
  19. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/No_man's_land I would assume that what you guys said about the flat acre of land where we see the zombies blitzkrieg across the field is considered our No Man's Land. It could be our way of reaching a certain destination that is far along the map.
  20. Nothing spells "I love you" more than bringing a horde of zombies to them while in an extremely close-knit area.
  21. Microsoft: "2 days." But seriously, mine took around 2 hours to download and I have rather fast internet. It's going to be a pretty large file so expect anywhere from 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 hours for the actual download.
  22. Does anyone not realize how many theories have been made based off the trailer alone? There's a handful of people that say 115 was the first to bring zombies, but we have evidence that tells us there is an Ancient Evil. Not to mention that we don't necessarily even need anything physical for zombies to reanimate (Mob of the Dead). We ourselves created scenarios of how zombies came around prior to Vahn's quote. Don't make him look like the bad guy here. Just give the map a chance before you play the "I don't want to live on this planet anymore" card.
  23. There were a few glitches that may have been patched. I can't fathom what other reason for a hotfix this late in a Black Ops game.
  24. Because they know that Zombie fans will eat yup anything and everything they see. You could give us a 5-second sneak peak and we could take note about 20 things.
  25. HTML is not supported on this forum. The best you can do is BBCode, but there is no dropdown option available for it. Your best bet would be to use the spoilers tag.
