  1. He is called whatever he is called. As long as it's not in some kind of professional context, such as a narrative, then it is okay.
  2. The problem with trying to determine a particular coordinate is that we don't know whether or not the area in which they are located in is accurate. We can only say where in a particular region (be it state or city) is the tower located. According to the cutscene, there looks to be more than one. I don't buy the tower = voice idea. Not saying that it won't work, but the towers themselves represent nothing more than an energy transmitter of some sort. What side you choose determines what kind of energy is pulsating through the spires. To say that each tower represents a different entity would mean that each one would essentially gain some kind of power for themselves, which doesn't really make sense.
  3. Perhaps it will be gunslingers. Kind of a weird turn to suddenly incorporate new characters into the equation, but just because they could be implemented does not mean they have to be vital to the storyline. Just look at Cell Block Grief for Alcatraz Island.
  4. Not too much is not about it. As a place, Broken Arrow is located in Oklahoma. It is mainly referred to as a nuclear event caused by nuclear weapons or warheads. Also, it's a distress signal used by the military for calling in air strikes when forces are being overrun by the enemy. It's possible that Russman could be related to something such as this, but the cutscene shows Broken Arrow as some kind of government operation/group.
  5. Looks like the Zombie devs finally stepped up and threw pretty much everything that we've been asking for (aside Flopper) into this map. I can't wait to see it hands-on. So many discussions and questions that need to go into detail...
  6. Two pages meaning two times the fun down the line? Perhaps this does mean that we will see two more amps coming in, unless Turned somehow gets its own loading screen (much like Diner did). Good eye, friendo!
  7. Watch this become the second greatest thing since Double Tap II. It will be so helpful when you're wanting to keep onto a certain weapon and you're in dire need of some extra ammunition.
  8. At this point in time, the phrase "mend the rift" is going into varied discussions. Some are even seeing it as a physical form. Kind of like "the map is where it is now because of a rift" and such. But the question becomes how do you mend a physical event such as that? It may as well be a double meaning.
  9. You're in a forum about a map that has technically been semi-released to us thus far. There are spoilers everywhere, and the only way you can avoid them is to avoid the whole forum itself.
  10. I don't believe a new mode will come out of this. If it does, I don't expect to see Grief or another version of Turned. Rather, something else that involves this map.
  11. Some good information here, friendo! I wonder how long til it's not longer a OHK...fascinating.
  12. Some implications have arisen. The Olympics will be back into session after we work out a few kinks both internally and externally. Expect it up once more soon.
  13. If you really can't contain yourself, then you can do whatever you so please. To me, looking at something before I get my hands on it excites me more. Am I going to go the extra step if it's far from my reach? No, because I'd very much just wait until I am capable of doing so. I did that for Nuketown Zombies. I saw many videos about it, and was very eager to get ahold of it. Once I did, I was still as astounded as a little kid discovering magic for the first time. Tl;dr: Viewing is much more different than experiencing it hands-on. It's your willpower that is the only obstacle in the end.
  14. Hmmm, separate Achievements to which side we choose in this Side Mission? Sounds like a very nice plan. If this is the case, then could revising history very well mean that what we did in Mob of the Dead through breaking the cycle is actually pertaining to what he wants us to do? This a very interesting analysis. Kudos, friendo!
  15. Ah, it's great to see a post from you friendo. Your work always keeps me occupied for a good duration of the day. The brimstone to damnation is an interesting concept. I always view it as some kind of metaphorical awakening to intermittent destruction or doom. You could even call it a trigger for the unspoken horror that is bound to occur eventually. Kino der Toten really emphasized this phrase and made it seem like the research and information that was left behind by Maxis is what causes our interest to reach the ultimate damnation of Earth being savaged by missiles and Richtofen into power. Perhaps this idea was not thought of at the time of making such a phrase, but it's never bad to have some kind of hypothesis handy. Sulpher...we may uncover something of it later down the line. Or, we really haven't looked too much into it for some reason. The connection between such an element and Hell is very intriguing. Sodom and Gomorrah remind me of Die Rise for some odd reason now that you mention it. Fire coming from above, the ground below being set ablaze as a result of it. Then again, we're trying to connect the allusion to brimstone and damnation so I am not too surprised that there is some kind of relationship there. Is this what has befallen upon us after what occurs on Moon? Damnation to all? I will continue looking over this repeatedly. I really enjoy these kind of reads; take smaller things and broaden them into several connections where they all join back in the ending result. Just wonderful research, friendo. :)
  16. Welcome to the community, friendo! The storyline is extremely intriguing and confusing at the same time. For Mob of the Dead, it does not get any clearer; in fact, it just tangles things up much more! We have discovered that Richtofen nor Samantha are in control of the zombies during this time period. I'd suggest you take a good look at MMX's thread to learn everything about Mob of the Dead: viewtopic.php?f=100&t=18279#p162533 Happy reading! :)
  17. I think that this is a very interesting relation, even if it seems to be minor. You could look at each one and see that they direct your attention to something that is emphasized without understanding. For 115, we deal with...well, the element 115. In Green Run ala Tranzit, Carrion takes this similar approach but with carrion as a decaying flesh. Each are the source of power and condense further as we explore the significance behind each one.
  18. Looks to be gibberish to me. They are toying around with us about the Zombies statistics for Grief and a few other elements pertaining to it. There are words written over words that make no sense, such as Tranzit over the word "Sliquifier". The box areas look to be some kind of rough overhead diagram for the layout of certain maps, but they're too undetailed to even assume that they are.
  19. Nope - just a false rumor. That's all that there is to it.
  20. Fun fact: Jimmy's Twitter description involves a little mentioned of a slab. https://twitter.com/ZielinskiJimmy Tectonic plates shifting to create what we now see as Buried?
  21. I don;t believe there will be a Grief mode to this map. There seems to be a certain pattern going on - Grief, no Grief, Grief, ______ . It would be much more sensible to do the [final] last map to incorporate a Grief mode anyways.
  22. Very nice breakdown, friendo! The Victorian woman/ghost is going to be the biggest mystery thus far. Fom what you have shown us, it looks like she doesn't go beyond the area of the house (though I could be very wrong). Also, a mutton-chop zombie boss? THAT would be very interesting, haha. If giing candy to the big guy makes him aid us, I wonder what would cause him to oppose us...great work!
  23. Agh, wrong forum. I swear, I get these forums mixed up when clicking too fast. I think my fastest was 12. I can't get any faster than that. :(
  24. I've gotten it as quick as 9, but I'm positive you can get it by 8. If you want to know how I went about that, just click the little spoiler below. Sorry for going crazy in this post. I just thought it may be helpful to explain how you can get it very early into the game.
  25. Ah, okay then. Once we assume that the aircraft is responsible for the mushroom cloud, it comes to seeing when that event actually happens. Would you say that if we presume Nuketown Zombies and Moon to be happening in the future, that the aircraft created the crater and any external destruction, say, perhaps a few decades after Nuketown was first demolished? The explosion done by the mechanism could have very well created the zombies there, and the result of such an event happening would cause the CIA and CDC to investigate.
