  1. Welcome to the community, friendo! Please, enjoy your stay and don't forget to become a part of our lovely discussions. :)
  2. Green Run was born out of the Green Run project back in 1949. The U.S. government occupied the small town known as White Bluffs - a.k.a. Hanford - because it was well deserted at the time and would be perfect for unleashing the chemical elements into the air. The sign can't point to a general location, or at least not to that of Great Leap Forward. In none of that text did I see any mention of the sign's importance to all of this. It's a different perspective to think things over though. :)
  3. From what I can re-collect, you can earn roughly 1620 if you do 7 bullets and one knife. You can unload the remaining bullets into the legs of a zombie, which may earn you perhaps 120 points. That would equal somewhere close to 1740 at best (unless you hae been shooting in the leg this whole time).
  4. Technically, all the maps under those particular categories have all the maps. The reason why Tranzit and Die Rise are on this category instead of the others is because they are modes, not maps themselves. Of course, the forum will be re-organized so the forum order is not permanent.
  5. +1 If you plan on camping it out with a few teammates (or even buy yourself), the SVU is the perfect weapon to clear out some zombies. That is, if you can land a few headshots. Training with such a weapon can be kind of a trap when not done correctly. In fact, I'm quite certain un Pack-a-Punched, one bullet can shoot through at least 3 heads up til beyond Round 16. If you want a perfect comb, try having that SVU plus the AN-94 and Sliquifier. Fun times, galore.
  6. I think mod tools would be great. I know PC players love making custom everything in any game, but it just doesn't make too much sense to continuously keep doing it from game to game. Enjoy what you already have.
  7. Hm, quite an interesting theory, friendo! I hope you don't mind explaining how this can tie in to our current Black Ops II storyline beside "a tower is involved"? Explain beyond it if you can; I'd like to see where this may lead to. :)
  8. It's because nobody has the time to research. It's not that hard to read up on some old topics or search new information to make a point. The general consensus, however, feels that their opinion should stand above all and that their logic comes before anyone else's. It's one thing to argue, but it's another thing to debate. That's the perception of what a theory is. Don't let anyone stop you in continuing your research.
  9. You'll definitely find someone to join you in slaying some zombies here: viewforum.php?f=13 Happy slaying! :)
  10. For the most part, yes. If you want to post a video anyways, I'd suggest posting it here: viewforum.php?f=12
  11. It's what Richtofen is telling Stuhlinger. Like EJ said, it's distorted from our perspective in the beginning because we aren't supposed to know what Richtofen's primary plans are throughout the course of Black Ops II. By altering the voice, we hear the conversation in third person rather than through a subconscious state in Stuhlinger's mind. Eventually, we begin to hear the repeated "Accept your fate - begin anew!" quote. That is our flag that the voice is still Richtofen. In other words, the distortion of Richtofen's voice makes us stay unknown to his exact plans and create a dramatic opening.
  12. Welcome to the community, friendo! Good to have another fellow freakbag-killing machine on board. Hopefully we'll cross paths again someday and I can get a match with you. Enjoy your stay, follow our various discussions, and keep slayin' zombies!
  13. I don't remember you...but welcome back to CoDz, friendo! I hope that over time, I do get to become well-acquainted with you. It's good to have our veterans return home. :)
  14. I don't exactly think Die Rise would be very suitable for Turned, just because of the vertical layout which requires a ton of jumping and drop-offs. If it were implemented in some fashion, I could see the sweatshop (below the rooftops) or Buddha Room being a potential area to play. But not bad ideas, friendo! I wouldn't call Turned a poorly constructed mode. The idea was nestled int he zombie franchise for quite a while, but never truly was given birth to until now. I think it's simple and clever - gives everyone a chance to be the survivor and the zombie. We get to enjoy demolishing the human as a freakbag, and then gain sweet, sweet revenge on those same zombies. It gets harder progressively so the challenge is ultimately how long you can survive. Will you rely on teamwork from time to time in order to gain your reward, or will you use solo tactics to became a legendary slayer?
  15. Ah, it's good to know that I'm not the only person who uses this. Whenever my teammates whine about the Denizens taking forever to kill (when Galvaknuckles are not available), I just laugh and perform this tactic. They'll never know the secret of how I get from stop to stop so fast...until now. Good video, friendo!
  16. In addition to mobility, it's practically a fully-automatic SMG since you only need a twitchy trigger finger to send bullets flying. It does feel very, very lightweight though.
  17. Are you talking about the intro when you begin to load up the match, or the background music throughout the whole game? The short audio clip in the beginning sounds pretty...interesting. Nothing like what Die Rise is supposed to sound like. In-game, however, I hear no music.
  18. This has been discussed to the very core. But nothing beats a little fresh reminder for those who aren't aware of the Sliquifier's ability. Utilizing small areas will greatly help you in this escapade. Take, for example, the Food Bar (below the SVU-AS room) or even the area directly after jumping down from the Mystery Box spawn. The Wonder Weapon has been nerfed ever since the patch a few weeks ago), but it still promises to deliver long, consecutive chains.
  19. http://www.callofdutyzombies.com/forum/ ... 69#p281569 Please read this, friendo. Thank you.
  20. Taken from MurderMachineX's Zombie Trilogy thread:
  21. While the theory of Paris as a potential zombie map has been tossed around several times over the years, I do really enjoy this one very much. Concise details linking not just from World at War, but externally using other theories by others to be segmented into your own as well as using historical context to further bolster your ideas. Friendos, this is what a topic in the Asylum is supposed to look like. What really garnered my attention was the point about the bunkers in the catacombs (aside the large font ). When I think really hard about the outro of a Die Rise match, it sounds awfully similar to said bunkers as you stated. oWMf2tLpxBI 0:12-0:19 The hollowness of the sounds make it seem like someone is walking through a corridor that is completely deserted. Echoes are evident; it would make much sense for them to be heard in an area that is expansive, isolated, and possible underground. Rustling of chains and a door do indeed further support this. Great research done here. +1 :)
  22. Perhaps so; hence, all the potential spots that perk machines can drop in. But the way I see Nuketown Zombies, it's made to be a small[er] map. It feels as though adding a few more perk machines would...well, make it a tad to easy. Mule Kick would be fine to some extent, but I personally love how difficult it is with only four perk machines plus the Pack-a-Punch machine. I wouldn't be surprised if there were to be a new perk installed into Nuketown without us knowing.
  23. Hm, what a nice little connection discovery! Good work, friendo. Now why would Nova 6 crawlers be involved in the Aether, if that is the voice that lies within it. I don't think we're 100% certain the voice Stuhlinger hears is from the Aether (disregarding Richtofen). At the same time, it's not to say that the dialogue found in the intro is a different entity. If so, it may as well not even reside in the Aether.
  24. I still can't do this for the life of me. I've done the required steps almost 20 times, but nothing. Oh well - maybe it'll spontaneously occur one day. It does seem that way, but when you're barely starting off the game or jumping back into a round during the high rounds with little to no points, it can really be a bonus in your favor. ;)
  25. Why no love for the Pack-a-Punched M14 a.k.a. Mnesia? If you concentrate on headshots, it's a definite plus to have on hand. Plus, the addition of Double Tap II makes it one beast of a gun. If I don't have the Mnesia, I'll stick with the Pack-a-Punched AN-94. That gun alone doesn't require Double Tap II (unless you really need it for camping situations), and can take down zombies without wasting too much ammo. The M16 also does the trick, but will cause you to stop concentrating as much since it turns into a fully automatic rifle.
