  1. I don't mind getting Nuketown 2025 as a regular map plus purchasing Nuketown Zombies as a standalone DLC. In fact, this is what I've been dreaming for since I heard of such a map. I honestly was not going to fork out $60 to grab the Season Pass just for that, even if all the other DLCs were "promised" to come with it.
  2. You'll have better luck finding some awesome freakbag slayers here: viewforum.php?f=13 Happy hunting, friendo! :)
  3. Welcome to the community, friendo! It's great that you are also knowledgeable of the storyline as well as a fellow slayer. You'll find that many, many of us share those same characteristics. I've love to hear your input on everything zombie. Enjoy your stay and keepn on slayin' some freakbags. Don't be too shy now! :)
  4. If it's obvious, then please clarify why we don't see the Sliquifier in Tranzit but Die Rise instead. Also, why are all the parts scattered throughout the map if he supposedly built them?
  5. What we know so far is that the Sliquifier was indeed unfinished. Hence, we have buildable parts for it as some kind of "beta weapon". I wouldn't exactly say that it was brought to life some time before the crew arrived in Shanghai, but the parts themselves are rather...intricate. Any speculations on how the liquid in the Sliquifier works/formed can be found in this insightful thread: viewtopic.php?f=139&t=29270 From what I can recollect, no buildable thus far has ever been able to be Pack-a-Punched (I'm looking at you primarily, Jet Gun). Even though you can obtain the Sliquifier via Mystery Box after the original is lost, you still cannot upgrade it. I want to say that it's because the gun is already powerful as it is and is already at maximum damage output/potential, but hey - that's just my two cents. ;)
  6. I believe that they are indeed reused textures. For the sake of laziness, probably so. At the same time, I can't help but also assume that they were meant to give us a rather clear date relevance. Kino der Toten (when the O4 arrived) occurs somewhere near 1967, yes? Doesn't Green Run before the N4's coming also lie within the same timeline? After all, the area was used as a government experimentation site because it became deserted. Green Run and Kino der Toten have the same era in common. FIVE was used to allow us slayers to situate the similarity between that map and the Campaign level when you go in to kill Steiner. The settings are similar because the timeframe does indeed connect, and the objects & instances found throughout the map - such as vehicles - also support this.
  7. You have to make sure that the orbs are placed when the Trample Steams are correctly in their positions. A way to determine if they are correct is when Maxis says that they are, and when you cannot pick them up anymore. When placing the orbs, make sure that the Trample Steams you place them upon are different. This is a crudely done representation of what the Trample Steam configuration should look like. Once the Trample Steams are in place, the only dialogue you should have is "Hold 'Square' to place balls". If not, you must replace your Trample Steams until you get that quote. Once you have done so, you should be able to place them down. The result is this: HikPjzx0bew @ 3:24
  8. Basically what jinro said. Accuracy can only be maintained if you are shooting. This method is most preferable with the Mustang & Sally. Using the Galvaknuckles is considered meleeing, so all you'd need to do is melee and not take a single shot throughout the whole boss round. Voila - free perks galore!
  9. The red drops pertained to give zombies the power drops instead of us. It acted as negative effects if they were to come into contact with them. Or at least that's what I remember. It's similar to Turned.
  10. Leaked information somehow surfaces a month prior to the release. Around 2-3 weeks before the drop, official trailers/information will come about straight from Treyarch themselves. Also, getting mad at CoDz doesn't make anything better. If you want to leave, then leave. Plain and simple. Not to sound rude OP, but you haven't done anything to help the community. There lies a problem that we can all look into.
  11. I agree with Chopper on this one. Try to avoid spawning them next to the Juggernog elevator if you're not timing it well and use Trample Steams as a defense barrier for the newly spawned while you help rack up zombies for them to score points on. If I ever go down on a high round just to be spawned with nothing - not even points - I grab my own Trample Steam and place it in front of the barrier on the dragon rooftops. Usually, my team will be on the front lines doing most of the killing, so I'll lob a few grenades here and there to get just enough for some Claymores/Semtexes. A 'nade that is timed correctly can feed you as little as 500 points. Also, headshots can be a big bonus with the Colt M1911. As Chopper said, the bullets will penetrate through and give you triple your score output for every correctly placed bullet.
  12. NavCards aren't necessarily objects which can be dropped after going down. Once you have picked up Die Rise's NavCard, you will keep it until the next map. Tranzit's NavCard can be accepted once you build the reader in Die Rise. Then, it will be removed from your HUD.
  13. Hm, good find bagel! But what catches me off guard is the reason why the Pack-a-Punch machine doesn't wobble in Town Survival. Everything is standstill; yet you say that it should wobble? I know that in Tranzit, the machine itself lights up from being charged with some much electricity and it does a little shake animation. That's a good indicator how that particular Pack-a-Punch machine goes into motion. The problem is, we don't have that same reason for No Man's Land. Upon starting the match, it wobbles as if it just got there the same time that we did. Electricity has already been there, so it's not like it magically turned on when we arrived.
  14. I take that MMX simply loves everyone. Whenever I'm Marlton in Black Ops II or Nikolai in Black Ops, I'm 101% satisfied. I actually enjoy listening to the characters' dialogue as I play.
  15. Quite plausible, actually! What I can't wrap my head around is that if Marlton already knew about Stuhlinger partaking in The Flesh, why wouldn't he have ratted him out by this point? Having someone in your survival group who has ingested zombie flesh - which could become a danger later on - is taking a huge risk for everyone else. It could explain why the two dislike each other, but it seems that two options could take place here: - Marlton is aware of Stuhlinger's situation, however, keeps it to himself because there is no current eminent threat yet. If there was, he'd kill him in a heartbeat. The fact that Stuhlinger is still a survivor and can help the group survive makes Marlton consider whether or not to tell the others. This alone makes him despise Samuel, but not as much as Misty. - Marlton knows The Flesh exists, but doesn't know that Stuhlinger was a part of it. He begins to have suspicions that Samuel may be a part of it (after listening to the radio transmission in Die Rise) since he matches all the symptoms of being exposed to the 115. In due time, Stuhlinger's secret will be revealed.
  16. It's not that he doesn't trust you; it's just the reassurance that the said method has been duplicated by others so it's 100% confirmed by the majority. It doesn't mean that you are an unreliable source. The more that a certain instance can be recreated, the better.
  17. I'm not too sure, seeing as I don't own a PS3. I'm assuming it hasn't evolved, but may have similar system properties to that of the Xbox 360 session glitches. Usually a good ol' "Clear System Cache" will cure any console's problems regarding something like this. It basically terminates running game sessions and then restarts it back up so there are no waiting screens of death anymore.
  18. When you're stuck creating a Solo lobby, back out the main menu and dashboard to your console home. Then load up Black Ops II again, and jump into a Multiplayer lobby (only you). If you can get the the "Create a Class" screen, then back out and head into Zombies. You should be able to start a Solo match.
  19. The hole area in the upside down building (room after the Mystery Box). When the Sliquifier strategy was brought up, I continuously used that area to maximize what I could with the Wonder Weapon being nerfed. I absolutely love it. Another area would definitely be the Buddha Room. It's probably the most spacious location within the whole map that utilizes many obstacles that can make or break your spree. You can hold up in given spots, but not for too long. Even having the Sliquifier can be detrimental to your routine (unless you use the pillar strategy).
  20. Ah, allow me to apologize and say that I meant official release information, not leaked. The poster itself from a random Gamestop was leaked as well as Amazon. http://www.computerandvideogames.com/38 ... ns-leaked/ If you recall, each distributor took down their advertisements/items immediately once it went viral. Whether this was a marketing ploy or not, it's not deemed official by Treyarch because they themselves did not release any information on their part.
  21. After some reading on here, it's apparent that people have different options to solving this issue. If I may, here is something that I have personally encountered in a special manner. The first time I attempted the Maxis side, we could not get past the reincarnation step just like everyone else. Our team eventually gave up and decided to hold out on the dragon rooftops. A teammate and myself went to the drop corner (where you can't get back up), and I had gotten downed. The other teammate who was with me revived my character with his PaP'ed Ballistic Knife, lo and behold - it triggered the succession of the reincarnation step. I know many people have already said that you do not actually need to revive anyone, but I feel that is also due to the glitch itself. Reincarnation isn't mean to mean shooting the Krauss Refibrillator at the ground or inanimate object. If the revival aspect is the biggest instance of not passing this portion of the Side Quest, may I suggest having three people up on the catwalk with the sacrificial lamb running trains down below. The moment they go down, revive them. Keep doing this and the quote should trigger in due time.
  22. How about positioning your Trample Steam correctly when going from building to building? Or making it face the right way and not towards the space outside the map? It doesn't help when players put down their Trample Steams in the middle of the room during the boss rounds only to accidentally come into contact and be sent flying down the bottomless map.
  23. I'm surprised that the SMR didn't make it in this category as the lowest-ranked weapon. Even if you plan on doing headshots, the damage counter on that gun is ridiculous. I'd rather have a Pack-a-Punched water gun than take the SMR. I know that perks may contribute to the damage output as well. Great job, friendo! :)
  24. The towers represent transferring power to either of the entities. Having two maps revolving around what can be done afterwards seems daunting. I'd like the idea of having some kind of Side Quest to counter against them/restore humanity in a final map, but just not in two maps. Keep bustin' those ideas, friendo! :)
  25. I wouldn't get my hopes up too soon; we usually get concrete details two weeks or so prior to the DLC drop. Considering that every DLC pops up around 2 1/2 months, the end of the month will be the earliest that we get any information. As for objective, I don't think it will focus on a spire this time around. Once you activate the final tower, what else more would there need to do? I could see Treyarch implementing a new focus that is individualistic rather than "we need to activate x amount of these in other maps".
