  1. I think we spammed the usage of Death Machines in Zombies already. We have "Five", Ascension, Call of the Dead, and Moon. Having that beast of a Gatling gun may seem like a great idea here and there, but as an obtainable weapon from the Mystery Box? I wouldn't count on it. I'm not saying that it will never happen, because it's essentially a rather balanced weapon. Takes down hordes within seconds, most powerful gun (aside Wonder Weapons) in any given game, extremely large ammo capacity. Then you have its disadvantages of being heavy (causing the player to painfully walk around with it), only has one clip of 999 bullets, long swap time for pulling it out, very concentrated shots that won't help if zombies are not lined up. Good weapon to have here and there, but just not an ideal weapon to regularly obtain in-game.
  2. No thanks. This isn't typical Multiplayer; this is zombies. We're lucky that we can achieve free perks via Side Quests or successfully completing a boss round while meeting certain requirements; why would we need to make the game easier than the difficulty it is at now? All I can see are people finding ways to work around this concept to abuse the system. I'll have to say no on this 100%; good idea if you're looking through the glass, but it would definitely kill Zombies. And not in the slaying way either.
  3. I thought that was supposed to be the shadow of Samantha? Notice the Teddy Bear seen in her left hand, and the silhouette of her dress' shape.
  4. So you're saying that Richtofen wants to repair the time distortion to make everything fall under a single timeline as if he had been ruling the Aether the whole time, somewhat similar to Samantha? My my, this is a very interesting concept, friendo! Richtofen stated in Green Run that he wanted to restore the Earth so he could be for him "to plague". We never truly got our heads around how he'd accomplish such a task, but this idea of prevent multiple paradoxes from ever occurring sounds like it will do the trick. The events leading up to the switch of power during Moon (all those maps before it) would have never occurred, since we are technically in the future. In turn, this allows history to be rewritten in the favor of Richtofen. Very plausible idea indeed!
  5. Or even perhaps this:
  6. This sums up the perfect answer. We could say that the original three are dead, but at the same time, we could even say that they escaped and are very well alive. Keep in mind that they still have access to Earth via teleporter to Area 51, so they could just as easily leave to a new location. Where is that said location, is shrouded in mystery at the moment.
  7. That was not leaked information nor gameplay; it was a troll who...well, did it for teh lulz. He event stated it himself in the comments. The advantages of a PC are endless; all he did was change the map preview picture, the text on the loading page, and use an area outside an existing map and injected the source code into the game. You don't need Dev Tools to do this, since all you need to know is how to access the in-game files. It's already been done in regards to text commands (what dialogue is displayed in the game). I wouldn't use a troll video as any kind of source to be honest. The film reel on the lower right-hand corner could be anything, really. It could be a hint towards the new map, a refurbished map, or some kind of object we'll be obtaining soon in the next map.
  8. I'm glad to see that the human-like cutout on the loading screen is getting some recognition, but I'm even happier to see such an informative analysis on the shape itself. Great observations, friendo! What we can suggest is that this cutout is supposed to resemble someone. Some may say Gersch, others may say it's the person from Nacht der Untoten. Is it possible that it could actually be Maxis? We really do not have any valid form of physical characteristics, and this may prove to be true even more so if we could link the shape back to the blacked-out portrait in Kino der Toten. And suppose that the portrait is actually of Maxis, since the blackening-out may symbolize him being "terminated"?
  9. Welcome to the forum, friendo! But of all things, how could all of this be wrong? A theory is a theory; who's to say that you aren't wrong yourself? The OP used the Season Pass - which is clear text from Treyarch - that the events which followed are true. All we can verify is that Marlton was removed from the group in a dishonorable manner and he traveled via bus to Green Run. He could have been with the previous radiation scientist group, since he was trapped before our CIA/CDC teams came into Nuketown. There is actually a quote in Tranzit by Marlton that may further prove his relation to the radiation scientists (quote regarding the chemical properties of a nuke/flame).
  10. This is a card reader which is needed to construct the NavCard table underneath the pylon in the cornfields. You can usually find this piece near the dumpsters in Town or on the wall at the house in Farm. I'm assuming you've never built the table before, but what you must do is go underneath the pylon, face the empty space towards the back (where the chain-link fence is), and there should be a "Hold 'X' to place part" dialogue. Then, you can finish the rest of the table by finding the other parts. Also, any buildable parts that you see/pick up will not show in Theater.
  11. You can also gain free perks from the Jumper Jacks by blazing through the boss round without taking any damage from them.
  12. As of the moment, completing one Side Quest prior to the next one has no affect at the moment. You can easily regain the side you chose to complete by repeating the Side Quests in Tranzit and Die Rise. You won't have any problem with future Side Quests as long as you complete the one prior to the current one.
  13. Well, I'm pretty sure that the original four don't have any ties to Maxis, but may be more than happy to gain sweet revenge on Richtofen. As for Richtofen requiring their assistance, they'd be very reluctant to assist somebody who betrayed them. The concept revolving around Black Ops II Zombies is the fight for power. Hence, the towers transmitting energy in the form of electricity/element 115. Once the energy is obtained, it is unknown as to how the entities will utilize their powers exactly. Richtofen wants to restore the world so he could gain control over it, but Maxis' true intentions are questionable. Expect to see the original crew back in the final map, I can promise you that.
  14. Just thought I'd throw my two cents into this guide that I should make mention. It doesn't need to be implemented, but I thought I should share it anyways since we're on the topic of solo strategies. There are quite a few spots that you can train/camp on your own without too much interference. Some of them may include: - Dragon Rooftops - PDW Room - Dragon Room/Food Bar (as mentioned by perfectlemonade) - AN-94 Hallway - Sweatshop (below Dragon Rooftops) - Trample Steam Room
  15. Welcome to the community, friendo! You seem to have come to the right place; you'll find a nice, big family who share the same love for zombies as you do right here. We talk, eat, breathe, and love zombies (well, we're not zombies, but we might as well be them since that's all we revolve around). Enjoy your stay, participate in our varied discussions, and slay on! :)
  16. Perhaps it's not necessarily the original four being reincarnated (as we have no proved them dead yet), but I could see the new four being "restored" to a former state in a given time lapse is a better definition. If we are to assume that Richtofen has the power to reverse time, couldn't he have done this since Moon to prevent anyone from going against his plans? I see it more as the power to revive the dead; if he could do so with the zombies and manipulate them, surely him reviving the new crew (in Great Leap Forward) would unintentionally alter the timeline, thus making us go back in time slightly. That is, if the crew does die (which in this case, is their first time).
  17. Make sure that your K/D ratio is meeting a certain criteria. The Skull emblem is relatively easy to get, but it may be out of your reach if you play matches with a high down count. Play lots of consistent games in a map where you're confident in, try new strategies, and have fun doing them! After a few matches (or a few days) of playing, you hit the Skulls in no time. Also, you can use this guide as a reference: viewtopic.php?f=100&t=26010
  18. I'm sorry - don't think too hard on it, friendo. Most people tend to ignore post and only desire things they actually want to hear. To be honest, this was pushed down so much that I didn't even see it. Congrats on that 935 post milestone! Hopefully you took a screenshot so I could see? As far as anything exciting to showcase, have you ever used the Trample Steams near the entryways in the the B23R room? You can stay there with unlimited Trample Steams and at most one or two zombies getting past you in every round. ;)
  19. Short, yet straightforward and created the urge for anyone who didn't have the map yet to download the DLC right away. In fact, it made me want to play right now even though I already own it. This is what a map trailer should contain; not showcasing everything but still displays a glimpse of all the wonderful fun you can have in it, especially with the additions of new weapons, buildables, and structure. Great job, friendo. :)
  20. The one hit could mainly be due to lag - I've been hit twice, only to see myself actually get swiped once. Sometimes it acts as a double-swipe in the form of one hit, or vice versa. If you have the red screen and wait less time to recover, one hit will knock you down clean even if there is no more red around your first person view. As for the elevators, I didn't realize that until last night when I was practically training with two Jumper Jacks.
  21. May I direct you to this lovely thread: viewtopic.php?f=136&t=27477 It contains nearly all the obtainable persistent upgrades - or perma perks as you call them - and the effect of them plus how they are lost/gained. :)
  22. So we may have a Giant Zombie on our hands? That may be very interesting...possibly a new zombie boss and/or genetically modified experiment much like a Resident Evil B.O.W.? ZBnMA_BV8Xs It sounds like some heavy footsteps with jangling keys. I want to go with the hunch of it being this "Janitor" that Zielinski tweeted a few days ago based on those sounds, but the footsteps seem so oddly spaced in regards to the velocity of a regular footstep. A Janitor Zombies, I suppose?
  23. You must switch sides as you would do in Tranzit. It's wise to assemble a team who has not done the Side Quest, or at least void of the side you want to choose.
  24. Ah, I've been trying to do this but with the wrong setup for the longest time. Thank you for posting that up friendo; I will definitely check this out once I grab an actual team. :)
  25. That's what I was thinking, but now you have Samantha on the original crew's side. It's kind of confusing really what to make of this now; if that's the case, then what artist would be performing on the behalf of the original crew (excluding Richtofen and Samantha)?
