Does that mean not to fix the turbines? If you've confirmed it, then this is reasonably related to Tranzit mode in some form. Perhaps it's a nod towards completing the Easter Egg if a player hasn't done it so on Green Run (since Maxis' first request is to complete the turbine). But why not to fix it? It just doesn't make sense. We had this before with the Firing Range, but no Firing Range-styled zombie map.

Hello Star, and welcome to the community! So you're a Zomb-She, eh? Sounds like you should grab yourself a medal for it. Anyways, enjoy your stay and hope to see you around!

Screenshot please? I'm looking around for it, and I cannot find this white board anywhere. But if what you say is true, I don't exactly believe that Cargo could be a potential zombie map. We might have gotten lucky in the past with one or two maps being based off multiplayer maps, but I can't see Cargo being one of them.

There is a way to do private match. It's more of a system glitch, but it requires you to have a secondary controller on standby. Custom games are the closest things to private games.

Strategies are all over the place for Green Run. I love it. Personally, I enjoy running a train at Diner with my upgraded DSR, unlimited Zombie Shield, and regular MP5. While everyone enjoys running the Mystery Box dry and leaving the Diner, you'll find me there (usually the last one alive) running circles and smashing through a whole crowd with one shield. Unlimited money, my friends. Unlimited money maker.

Clearing things out about the timeline...
InfestLithium replied to zombie_exterminator's topic in General Zombies Discussion
This was the best way I could condense the message to anyone reading this post. Wherever you got the idea that Nuketown is modern day, it is very, very incorrect. Try looking here: viewtopic.php?f=100&t=11967 Honestly, this is your best bet as to finding out how the locations match up in the zombies time frame. You're still pretty spot on, but a lot of your assertions are incoherent regarding the aesthetic structure of Hanford. Nevertheless, good job on this. :) -
Very nice take on that! I'm sure, however, that the set up in which the power room is displayed honestly does not regard any clock formations. The map is guessing how the general layout is. For that matter, we can't really say what position it is. Alongside that, where does the formation of the power room have in the Easter Egg, or storyline? I'm not shooting you down - I just want to take into consideration your perspective of what's going on so I can see from where you're sitting, that's all. :)

Green run is traversing different levels of space and time
InfestLithium replied to Zamininc's topic in TranZit
It's a nice speculation (and well put), but I don't believe that the whole map is different "time levels". Aesthetically, it's supposed to display particular areas of Green Run. Never have we really had a zombie map where the whole area (Hanford) was given to us. I know you are not saying that Green Run IS a paradox, but pointing out the different eras via possible locations is not the major concern for the map. Every site on the map was set up in collaboration to give players a different feel of...well, a town. You have urban and rural areas combined, alongside an allusion to literary the place that made zombies famous. [Also, it is not Nacht - it's just an area that is awfully similar to the map we know so well and love.] What I do find interesting is your details on the characters themselves. Once again, however, it's just another way to separate the differences and important characteristics of our new crew. They come from various locations across America, much like how our original crew came from different countries (even if that is a much larger scale to consider). But I do like your thinking - keep it up! :) -
It wasn't truly perfected though. The teleporters on Moon were originally there via Group 935 a little after Richtofen first encountered the pyramid. All the Americans seem to have done was re-adjust the mainframe's coordinates to Area 51 (Hanger 18). Even so, the teleporter found in NML is a bit off. It does do its duty, of course. But when you teleport, notice that you never do return to the teleporter above the pyramid. Rather, you spawn back in the control dock where there seems to be no teleporter in site. With this, I believe the Americans never did perfect the technology of the teleporter and that is why it is seen on the blueprints. For the purpose of them being scattered, I don't exactly know. But what I do assert is that the Americans were not capable of creating a perfect replica of Group 935's mainframe. TL;DR: The Americans did have the technology and guide to create it, but they weren't 100% successful in it. Maybe we can find teleporter parts around the map by chance or something similar?

Doesn't look too shabby! Though it would be way to easy to "power up", especially later in the rounds. By the way, this ought to be moved to here: viewforum.php?f=12

I have no clue what you're trying to get at. From what I see, you attempted to explain Rez's Tweet about something that truly does not make sense. I like your thinking, but that's a bit...er, cryptic still. The NAV card theory is somewhat correct and incorrect. One can see that the card is placed next to points to signify the holder among the group. Usually, it would be on the bottom center of the screen just like Black Ops, however, we already have that spot specifically reserved for our build-ables. But your theory has already been mentioned. Jimmy's Tweet is not about Rolling Stones, I can guarantee you that much. From what I previously read, it was about the players not being able to decide whether we should beg for the answer to our questions and be angry because we were given the answer, or tell him to stay quiet because of his cryptic messages and be angry because he will give us nothing. Either way, he sees it as a loss. Jimmy plainly said that he knows exactly what he wants us to know, so he'll see fit how he decides to bring us what we need to know whether we like it or not. Where did Kino Der Toten come into the picture? Also, are you residing in some parallel universe where all this somehow connected like a puzzle for you? This whole thread is the most confusing piece of content I have ever seen written. Congratulations.

Hey laddy, welcome to the forum! Police academy graduate, and a fellow zombie slayer? My my, such an interesting combination we have here. But of course, we welcome you with warm 'nades and loving meat. Hope to see you around! :)

Over time, the Wonder Weapons have become increasingly better both in performance and user interface. Sure, everyone is entitled to their own favorites (mine being the Thundergun for obvious reasons), but indeed: there will be far better ones along the way in Black Ops II. I'm wondering is there was a purpose for not including a significant Wonder Weapon in the first map. Also, thank you so much for being one of the few people to recognize the Jet Gun as a special build-able, and not a Wonder Weapon. :)

You guys need to stop calling every newcomer that brings a new idea to the table a troll. There's a difference between suggesting alternative concepts versus claiming that there is one without any solid proof yet forcing the community to accept it. From what is presented, you say that you had the action dialogue on the other side of the bus? Perhaps there was an item that was dropped prior to you reaching the bridge again or something along those lines? Also, if you could supply a screenshot of some sort, that would be fantastic. death: I'm going to see how that goes down tonight. I didn't enough know you can EMP a zombie for that long; they always seem to wake up right as I leave the premises.

Inexperienced Players You've Played With (Green Run)
InfestLithium replied to Jeager1999's topic in TranZit
I think the biggest zombie noob I have ever encountered was a young lad who could not run a train to save his life in Town. So basically, he would freak out, run through the lava (not jump), and toss grenades at his feet when cornered. In fact, he went down so many times, I lost my perma-Quick Revive. -
viewtopic.php?f=135&t=25652 This is great for strategizing towards those high rounds. Honestly, this will help you whether you're a starter or pro slayer.

Easter Egg is already over. Obvious troll is obvious, just wants to lead people on so users can worship him as some God. Reminds you of a certain incident that occurred not too long ago, hmm? I don't mean to sound condescending, but I am quite annoyed by these trolls. It's not fair on anyone who actually does try their best to find clues while some dignified poser thinks that they can wee the puppies into the pen for their own pleasure. Nothing on you, of course - it's just that we've seen a lot of this. Let's move on and pretend this is not happening again.

Official Ranking System Discussion and Theories
InfestLithium replied to way2g00d's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I don't believe Deaths would be a concern, since in order to die you have to be down. But in all seriousness, the downs are the biggest concern here. It's not that easy to die out, but it certainly is the opposite for downs. If you have more Deaths than Downs, we need to talk about future appointments w/ a psychologist. -
Huge amount of information from the String Dump
InfestLithium replied to MonopolyMan's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Fixing the bridge that collapses? But alas, we can still travel across it with ease and even walk across it. Is there another bridge somewhere within this map that we should be concerned about? I don't like looking at code snippets, but hey - if it's there, might as well speculate what they'll be used for. ;) -
When I first saw it, it resembled a lot like some kind of fuse or charge box. Kinda like an explosive, if you wish to see it as. That close up shot seems extremely close to I can't identify the shape that well, but that logo seems awfully familiar to something that one of our Theory Gods pointed out. Could we get a close picture capturing the whole box please?

Nacht Der Untoten area could be a facade...
InfestLithium replied to ninezerowill's topic in TranZit
On what circumstances was NDU on Black Ops not canon? Remember how people noticed the difference between "Der Reise" and "Der Riese"? I'm not claiming that it isn't relevant to the storyline, however, anything that Treyarch has delivered to us contained some valuable aspect of evidence in the zombie saga. Whether it be minuscule or extremely important, something valuable lies in each of the maps. -
So, is there a way I can reset my zombies stats?
InfestLithium replied to bloodfurn's topic in General Zombies Discussion
No. Once your are given your current stats, there is no way to reset unless two things occur: Treyarch commits to a rollback for some reason (like in the past), or you create a new account to start from scratch. To be honest, I'd just say keep playing good games where you can average anywhere from 300-1000 kills per game with a maximum of 2 downs and you should be fine. -
No, I was not being sarcastic. Otherwise, I would've posted a meme, haha. Don't worry yourself out lad. But I didn't think about it like that before...I mean, I know they have a common name but why would they be calling out to Samuel? Yes, he's a conspiracy theorist and get rumbustious about the tiniest things being some sort of secret, but how does he relate? Perhaps it's Richtofen calling out to him so he could further lose his mind and obey the voices?
-
Mmm, I don't find myself too good with clues. Perhaps you'd like to share? I might be thinking the wrong thing here.
-
No, but if you tell us now, you can get a free star with a lovely compliment.
