  1. It looks like the Moon, but not as much as a spectacle as the one in Shangri-La. When think of a possible "transition", I still think of the billboard in the Tunnel that says DAY /2 M E. I honestly can't think of what might transition the day - night, since playing in-game for a few hours do not seem to trigger it. But with Shangri-La, you were creating the night due to time travel (which is very relevant in the storyline, so there's no exception for someone to say that time travel is impossible).
  2. Hey buddy! Welcome to the zombies community! I'm sure you'll find many, many players to team up with you in whatever mode you wish to choose. As for zombie theories and the storyline, you'll be surprised as to what our fellow slayers come up with. We only have the best community for that. Hope to see you around more often!
  3. The Denizens will only attack you if you are on a plot of land that contains dirt, grass, soil, etc. Because the bridge is mainly a wooden frame with no dirt whatsoever, they cannot dig up from the wood. The only way they can attack you on the bridge is if you originally were near a patch of dirt and walked onto the bridge just as one spawned. On top of that, I scavenged around the bridge numerous times after reading the post and there is nothing on there - no buildable parts, no workbench stations, nada.
  4. Is it just me, or does anyone else notice the electricity zapping out of the spire on the church? Seems like something we've been talking all along.
  5. Welcome to the zombie community! As for your sudden idea, it's actually been brought up quite a few times. By travel place to place, you mean via the bus, correct? If so, that probably will be unlikely to happen. Story-wise, the idea becomes more applicable. But in-game, going from one map to another map via a small transportation shuttle just doesn't work out well. I don't think the game could handle two main maps in one given instance, and it certainly would not load into another map with the presented statistics of each player and everything in between. You'd better expect your console to catch on fire, haha. But hey - it doesn't mean it's impossible. ;)
  6. It is a limited time offer. The DLC will always be available for purchase, but you wouldn't be saving those $10 like the image shows. I'd say in about a month or so, you'll only be able to buy the Nuketown Zombies map (and at its original full price) rather than the combined essentials.
  7. Hey bro! Welcome to the zombie community, where you'll find people who also love zombies just like you. We too are all about zombies; so much so, we might as well be ones. But hope to see you around more often!
  8. viewtopic.php?f=100&t=11967 It's our best guess yet.
  9. It's alright; I can see what you were trying to drive across. The codes being released, however, is still an issue and really shouldn't be on this particular board. I'm not saying that anyone is the devil for posting them, but it's frowned upon seeing as it's still considered a leak. As for Treyarch, I think they still care about us - their true, hardcore fans. They are on a limitation, yes; but they do try and pull every stop to see that we are satisfied and hungry for more zombies. That, I can assure you.
  10. First of all, he was never attacking the OP. He simply stated that he disliked the idea of people posting up the in-game codes of the game to force any and all information into our eyes. That's called opinion of the matter which everyone is entitled to. Second, we all use something called creativity. I'm sorry that looking at in-game codes to exploit certain actions is faaaaar more convenient than experimenting with what we're given. I totally forgot that this game inspires us not to work hard. Lastly, where do you think you're going at with claiming that the Treyarch crew does not care about anyone in particular? A community is consisted of individuals who share the same ideals and interests, regardless whether they agree on particular matters or not. Didn't you know that this community - CodZ - is basically the reason why zombies is what it is today? Treyarch said so themselves. It starts with one person, then grows, and soon becomes a large community effort. Saying that they do not care about someone in particular is like saying you have no purpose in this world. In what position do you think you can go and call out someone like that? If anything, you're the only one that should be disregarded here. But I too am entitled to my opinions, and I believe that you only want to do good for the community, so I won't call you "nothing"; but you certainly aren't bringing anything to the table just yet.
  11. Yes, Spider even said that the textures were not fully loaded and he could not even enter. But it is rather interesting to see what it's like in there. I don't know if anyone else knows this, but you can manually remove textures in the game. All you have to do is get into a public or custom game and have a host migration occur. This should be done with the original host being the person that is leaving, so when the migration happens, the textures will disappear and change in color.
  12. As far as I'm concerned, the current Nav Cards that we all have will not be accepted. While I want to say it has nothing to do with how we obtained the cards, I have this feeling that these cards may not be used...on this map. When we receive the DLC, ours might be accepted and theirs may be accepted in Green Run. Kinda like it forces us to go back to older maps so we don't get fixated on the newer ones too much (though we never really had this problem since every player has their own favorite map). The code may not show it, but if the new location-card theory isn't exactly true, then maybe something we accomplish in-game will trigger the card reader so that it does accept our cards?
  13. Ah, HTML is the newest update, eh? I work alongside that and CSS with just enough PHP to get me by. Of course, there's always new restrictions like browser formatting and whatnot. But I'm glad you feel welcomed! You are now part of the big family.
  14. This is what I have in a nutshell. I'll keep this updated just in case we retrieve anymore information.
  15. Hey lad - welcome to the zombie community! Zombies is just everyone's passion, huh? [Of course, who doesn't love a screaming freak bag?] Those are some interesting subjects you're studying. I myself am also a web designer, but it's only a hobby and not a college session. Have yourself a great time and hope to see you around more!
  16. Prodigy's theory has been confirmed. After reaching the minimum 15k kill set, my rank immediately rose from Skull w/ Dagger to Skull & Shotguns. My K/D ratio is 273.601, with 54 downs. I played a Custom Match with a good friend trying to do the Easter Egg before my rank was increased. Also, I do believe Grief is still considered a good portion of your ranking. The Overall stats consist of Co-op and Grief, so that main category is to be emphasized the most. Prior to leveling up, I was at 14,892 kills accumulated (including Grief). When I finished my match, I was barely at 15,003 kills total and had my new prestige emblem. I think I can fully support that regardless what mode you play (as long as it affects the overall statistics), you can increase your rank virtually in any game.
  17. viewtopic.php?f=100&t=26038 You couldn't have gotten from here, could you?
  18. This is very nice! Where are the other beams of light coming from? It seems that two of them are not being directed from Town.
  19. Hey lad! Welcome to the zombie community! I really do hope to see you around more, I understand what it's like to have such little time because of raising a family, but hey - they could make great zombie slayers, yah? Have fun around the site! :)
  20. Prodigy and the OP have claimed that your rank is mostly based on your kill / down ratio. Here is a reference to how it is set up: viewtopic.php?f=100&t=25823 According to Prodigy's theory, you have to meet a certain ratio to even be considered in a rank. Not only this, but you also need to hit a minimum kill level (i.e. 15k kills to gain entry to Skulls w/ Shotguns). When you go down a lot in a given rank, it affects your ratio negatively, which may drop you down a rank on the spot when you descend below the said boundary. In your case, you went below at least a 200.00 K/D.
  21. Psh - way2g00, you never have time to even pair up with me and you're on for just about as long as I am, haha. You just don't love me. As of now, I'm still at my Skulls and dagger but with a 247.22 K/D ratio. Getting 3k more kills ain't very easy.
  22. The screenshots in the earlier posts belong to some kind of DLC skin pack. Notice how the church and Juggernog room are decorated with all those signs. Seems like a Christmas bundle with all the holiday lights and snow marks on the 2nd image of the Bus Driver. Also, you guys shouldn't be exploiting game files. We've have this problem before, and this certainly is not exception either. Although I like seeing what interesting things we can find in the system, it's nothing but cheating our way through the unexpected.
  23. Welcome to the Zombies community! Ah, let's see what we can do here with your suggestions. 1) I'm not entirely sure about the importance of washing machines, but what does the colors have to do with anything? I'm not calling you out on it, I'm just very confused what you're exactly trying to say when claiming that the machines are "colored". 2) Hm, I never thought about that. It seems more like it's just the flickering off the lights as to create that devastated atmosphere kind of feeling, like everything has been abandoned and the electricity short-circuits the sign often. But hey - doesn't hurt to try! 3) Yes; there has been many reports about the wires being shaken when hit by bullets or an explosive. While it does react, I'm sure it's just a result of physical action - much like if you were to break the windows in the Juggernog room in Town. Thanks for throwing these ideas out to us! Things like this is what keeps us thriving and exploring, so do share any more you come across. :)
  24. Y'know, I never bothered to look up the tower after completing both sides of the Easter Eggs. But from what I can see, it looks like a beginning clutter of sparks. Then again, if they are similar to the traffic lights, then something between the two needs to be done.
  25. This...this is a very interesting find!! Of course, it will be difficult since there are four players and five clocks. But suppose you use a portal to reach an area quickly and align all of them to Suns. I think you may have solved some kind of new find that will lead us somewhere! Great find OP!
