  1. Hmm, there is our proof! But you know what's funny? Directly under the bar is the Pack-a-Punch room. I know there is no train in there, but could something from inside of there be making those sounds? Perhaps one of the barricaded rooms?
  2. Welcome to the forums! Also, I have to try this. I've seen many videos roaming around w/o fog and it seems like nothing new has been brought up, but definitely worth a shot!
  3. Probably because he wants you to create that scalene formation he says. I always thought it happens at the end of the Easter Egg though..
  4. All you have to do is leave a Turbine near the Ak74u/vault door below and take the bus (given you took it to the power station) to Town. Other you can dash through the fog. Choose your poison.
  5. The steps are congruent to Maxis's side in which the steps are done in chronological order and cannot be done at an earlier interval. While this is true, you can choose whether to build the Nav Card table and Jet Gun prior to turning on the power (even if you have it completed before Richtofen asks you about it). I mean, it's nothing like EMPing the portals beforehand, but it's something. ;)
  6. I think the OP wants to know if a different order is possible so certain steps can be accomplished at an earlier time. For instance, trapping Avogadro via EMP can be a really biatch if you have come so far in the progress of the EE and he's nowhere to be found, however, you just saw him a few rounds earlier.
  7. You mean the steps in a different order? The Easter Egg has to be done exactly in chronological order. Richtofen's is a bit lenient when it came down to the Jet Gun and table, but Maxis is a strict setup.
  8. No; I always assumed the Nav Card could be inserted into the Bus Driver and/or front where the ticket booth is to create a new route of some sort. Alas, it cannot be used on the bus (otherwise, there'd be a 'Hold X to insert card' type of message).
  9. But I've been with that knife for two days...doesn't the system love a hero? :(
  10. I'll do that once this match is over, haha. Damn randoms haven't went down once and I'm over here begging for them to open up the PaP room every 5 minutes, haha. The fog seems standard to me. Although the some areas (like before the power station and cabin area) seem a bit dispersed and more clear, everything is of the same quality.
  11. Headshots are a plus with that sucker. I mean, it takes like 2-4 bullets for a headshot up to round 11, then anywhere from 8-17 up to round 25. IT'S A MADHOUSE
  12. There is; but for ranking purposes, I find it irrelevant to list them because the ones I posted have to do with some aspect of physically damaging zombies. But if needed, I will put them up. I'm a Skull w/ Knife actually. I have the blue eyes w/ five hashmarks, just adding that info as well even if they don't correspond to the ranking system as much. I guess people really love seeing my body posed on the ground a lot.
  13. In my mind, I thought to myself "Aha! The crew could have traveled by train!". Then I slapped myself for thinking such a thing. You do have a point about the patch though, so why not try? I'm currently playing a game of Tranzit just to test this out, and I have not heard a single sound of a train. Some randoms are hitting the glitch spot so I don't have any zombies with me at the moment. But I do hear what seems to be like a muffled scream (probably a zombie).
  14. Train noise? You sure nobody is mistaking it for the bus when it is a good distance away? As for the unloaded PaP room when fog is missing, it could be that the code is linked in some external file associated with the fog; kinda like a compiled code. As a coder myself, sometimes it's very easy to erase just a small, tiny snippet of a " Anyways, the sound could possibly be nothing more than the honking of the bus from far away. If there were some kind of underground train, I'm sure that someone would have picked up on it earlier.
  15. Train? Where is this sudden idea of there being a train underground coming from? The only relevant trains around the map are their carts busted along the route between the tower/Nacht and the power station. It is very unlikely that a train exists underground. It's just an invisible barrier made to prevent the player from hitting a drop-off zone or simply just...a wall.
  16. You heat up the meteorite that is placed on the Nav Card table with the Jet Gun. I'm not sure what sources everyone has been looking up, but considering that the rock is part of building the table and is the only way of heating up the obelisk, I'd say it is included in the Easter Egg. Watch every video that you see attempting Richtofen's side of the EE. The tables will be fully built. As for the Nav Cards...I too will assume that it can be carried over from DLC to DLC. Even when all four players have cards, none of them will work. Note that it's been done in Black Ops (Vril device from CotD + Focusing Stone from Shangri-La when going into Moon in order to complete the final Easter Egg), and it's more than likely to occur again.
  17. Alright, so it's safe then to assume that having a good ratio is important in this case (as well as any other game from what I know). The possibility of deranking, I'm not sure because if I play one more game where I go even two downs, more than likely I will be somewhere in the 170 ratio. But for reference, here are my stats: Kills: 10,001 Bullets Fired: 39,690 Downs: 48 Revives: 128 Grenade Kills: 225 Headshots: 3790 Deaths: 35 Gibs: 12,000 Accuracy: 1.62
  18. I have a K/D ratio of 206. I've had this for two days and not once have I ranked up to Skulls & Shotguns. :|
  19. Yes, it's the shortcut to Town. Basically right after the lava if you stay on your left, there will be a truck and an opening path to the left of it. You stroll down, and the church will be on your left. Go down a bit further, and you'll find yourself standing on the edge of the drop-off next to the Mystery Box spawn/ Semtex area.
  20. 169 posts Apparently he is also stuck in there with the Avogadro (which would make some kind of sense I guess). The quote "the *something* has hurt me to the quick" he says both in the bunker and in Tranzit. That supports it. I think he got there through one of those things that says 'Bunker' around Tranzit. I honestly think he travelled from the Nuke to Tranzit. It would seem logical instead of Vice Versa. Mmm, c-c-c-c-c-c-combo breaker! Avogadro is not with him. He is still inside the power capsule in Green Run and has been for what seems like a while. As for that quote, it doesn't specify what hurt him exactly. It's been speculated that Marlton traveled via bus from Nuketown to Green Run, but it isn't verified. Also, the EMP that was dropped caused his electronics (mainly his interesting watch) to short-circuit and freeze.
  21. viewtopic.php?f=100&t=25556 A nice little read, lad. Nobody is sure how he got there; some presume he managed to get inside before the nuke dropped. ;)
  22. Ahhhhhh the grammar; it's burning my eyes! I honestly have no idea what you're trying to say. Do you mean the little crevice next the lava pitfall inside the brick building? There is nothing there of value from what I can tell, and jumping to the platform is a no-go since there is an invisible barrier in front of it.
  23. @Pinnaz : Perhaps both characters use different wordings as an emphasis of what they render the tower as? Maxis uses "spire" as some kind of reflector; in turn, sending electrical energy to him gives him enough power w/o the use of 115. Hence, this is why he can only communicate with us through electronic devices. If we look at this the other way, Richtofen regards to the tower as an obelisk that can practically resemble some kind of satellite. The 115 energy is being channeled through the "obelisk" like the sun ray you had mentioned in your definition. The amplitude of energy waves increases as we continue to kill zombies. When we look at the two, we see that one is being perceived as a receptor and the other as a transmitter. Regardless of course, each sends different types of energy. It's funny because each method rules out the other (i.e. by getting power on way, the other cannot gain their own power whatsoever).
  24. Well well, I wouldn't count it as official as Jimmy Z, but there it is in the written word. Of course we've already been hinted at that there was something the community has overlooked from one of Zielinski's tweets. https://twitter.com/ZielinskiJimmy/stat ... 9865874432 So many people have given up because they worked out their tired little minds and think that it should be really easy...and I'm very sure it is. We have all the materials we need, yet we haven't fully experimented with everything. Just acknowledging that there is more to it doesn't mean anything. For all we know, the Easter Egg could extend into the 1st DLC; nobody said that there is more to accomplish in Green Run.
  25. Didn't one of our bright-minds make some kind of topic relating to how the whole crew ended up in Hanford? It was assumed that the same bus that has taken our crew to Green Run is the same bus that supposedly drove through America and picked up every individual along the way. Henceforth, how Marlton escaped from Nuketown to Green Run. Of course I can't find the topic since that was sometime in late November (God forbid I search through endless pages trying to find that topic ).
