There are a few interactive parts with this map. The generator's front being opened and moveable is interesting, but I don't think it correlates to anything other than game physics. The wheel is the population counter. When you kill a few zombies, it rolls itself to the exact number that is left before a perk machine is dropped (or was that the clock sounding off?). The bike is still a mystery, but also just an interactive object. Some say that it's the very exact bike that Marlton takes to escape Nuketown, but that's really stretching it.

When do you think Moon/Nuketown occurs? (Poll)
InfestLithium replied to Kar98DG's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Ah, I totally forgot about the spacecraft with the large laser mechanism. That makes perfect sense then how it could be an alternative approach. Thanks, friendo. I'm not quite positive where you get three nukes from. You have Nuketown's bomb, [the spacecraft], and the three Moon missiles? -
There are a good number of graphics glitches in Mob of the Dead. For instance, some people have also claimed seeing an "upgraded" dog after they kill a zombie and it starts emitting a brilliant glow. Then there is the water tower glitch in Theater mode as well.

When do you think Moon/Nuketown occurs? (Poll)
InfestLithium replied to Kar98DG's topic in General Zombies Discussion
People really don't like regarding the fact that Nuketown/Moon happened directly prior to Green Run, huh? You can look at both sides and agree that it may be set in the 60's because of the Multiplayer map, but then you could also say that it took place in the future because of Green Run and Moon happening in the future as well. Personally, I'm an advocate of the present/future setting but I too have to keep my mind open to every possibility. We know that the dropped bomb cleared out the existing American/Soviet forces there, but do we exactly know from what definite time the radiation scientists come in? All we know is that it happened after the bomb wrecked havoc on Nuketown, but before the Moon missiles were launched. The mushroom cloud would not have lingered for more than a day (even though it should be visible for up to around an hour according to nuclear physics). It just doesn't add up how a mushroom cloud can stay up long enough for the radiation scientists to come in after the forces were obliterated and still withstand as we see the CIA/CDC come in. That would mean Green Run had to take place within that set time, and then teleport (thanks to Richtofen) through time and into Great Leap Forward. -
The Docks are hands-down one of the toughest areas to train in. If you get closer to the sniper tower, then prepare to do some intense holding out or even cut-backs. It's ruthless, even with a zombie shield.

Four words: invest in a cooler. Nothing sucks more than having your console overheat. Install the game if necessary...just be aware of all precautions so your game isn't interrupted by something external. No joke, your Solo runs will be excruciatingly tiresome once you go beyond 65-ish. Guns are pretty ineffective at this point so you will need to heavily rely on traps (given that there are some in the map you're in). Kino is the greatest example of using traps effectively. But as perfectlemonade said, you will need lots of discipline to make it to 100. It's not impossible and not difficult, but it isn't something to achieve very easily if you have a short attention span.

Hello again and A Question
InfestLithium replied to AlphaOmega's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Let's avoid the discussion about anything Benn or PTG related. We've already seen enough criticism, and there should not be anymore on here. Focus on the second question, please. I believe that everything is already set in stone. Treyarch has the concept already played out, but loves to throw a few curveballs based on the things we take notice on. You can create all the ideas and theories you want, but I can promise you that none of them may come to light until the far future. They love to inject a few minor details to toy with our heads that they find interesting. If the community constantly pushes for something (ex. return of the O3), then they will definitely taunt us with the possibility of such an event occurring later down the line. It's like playing World at War back in 2010 and saying "gosh, they ought to make a prison map" and then see Alcatraz Island three years later as you tell everyone how you predicted it. You didn't foresee it coming because it was only a wild idea that just happened to be implemented. -
Why Alcatraz is happening :: Doctor Who :: ALL 100% FACT.
InfestLithium replied to TBGxRyan's topic in Mob of the Dead
I never did understand Doctor Who. Maybe it's because I'm not into those kind of things, but people in Southern California eat it up like it's cake (yes, that was an indirect insult to the types of people in my area). Thank you for simplifying the scenario for me, friendo. It's a very interesting connection. I had a feeling this was definitely the case. MMX had mentioned in his Trilogy a few weeks ago that the cycle did begin when the M4 altered the history of their actions a.k.a. "kill" Ferguson. I agree with bagel's explanation of allowing Al to live. It would make sense for everyone to die in order to mend the rift, but the problem lies in the crew constantly dying with an indifferent ending to their purgatory. Al was meant to live in order to break that cycle. -
Evidence?

^ Since Kino, most people assumed that the number 6 was in relation to Nova 6. Don't kill me on saying this, but if I recall correctly, it was also used as a by-product for a few zombies such as the Nova Crawlers (but not all). Over time, we began to see less and less of Nova 6's appearance.

A bit of cleaning up.

Why so much HATE towards shotgun rank?
InfestLithium replied to Murdah4Hire's topic in General Zombies Discussion
There are external factors, such as people getting in your way, moving the Box (not in your favor), cluttering areas that you are holding out/training in, and the list goes on. Communication could easily fix that, yes. But bear in mind that not every player you meet will be up for being told what to do or where to go. You just have to maintain a slightly altered mindset is all; the game no longer revolves all around you in Co-op sessions. -
Is Grief & Turned still affecting rank?
InfestLithium replied to DeathBringerZen's topic in General Zombies Discussion
It was a good while ago; I believe around December because I was in a lobby with some friendly randoms and we were all having a blast talking smack on one another. It was a public lobby, should I mention. -
Is Grief & Turned still affecting rank?
InfestLithium replied to DeathBringerZen's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I just want to say that Grief for sure affects your rank. I lost my shotguns once as a result of a poor match. About two matches later of hardcore Griefing, it went back up. -
Welcome to the community, friendo! Trust me when I say that we have all had that light bulb over our heads. When you come to CoDz, you begin to learn things that you never really took into account before and it just gets gears moving at supersonic speed. You'll become really interested in the storyline and start making some connections of your own. I hope that you might share some of those ideas. Enjoy your stay, and keep slayin'!

The fact that they added a laser sight attachment to sniper rifles is baffling. At this point, it's no longer about aiming but hoping that your spray will take down the opponent. People actually play around with snipers more than they have ever before.

There was a comment not too long ago that the Editor could've been Al every time he repeated the cycle. This does not seem to be the case at this point if Al knew the Editor prior to Alcatraz. The buildings shown in the image don't seem like to much at first because the common stereotype of a superhero is for them to reside/look after a bustling city filled with crime and such. Seeing buildings in the background don't come off too much of a surprise to me. Calling the "rift" the events occurring in Mob of the Dead is a rather interesting idea, I must say. When you break the cycle, that would seem to do just the opposite of mending. This may be the key to determining who's side is done in Mob of the Dead. Great analysis, friendo! I hope to see more details regarding this. :)

What to expect in the last DLC?
InfestLithium replied to SirPlasticDucky's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I'd like to see an amazing weapon buildable/Wonder Weapon. Moon topped it off brilliantly with the Dual Weild Zap Guns/Zap Cannon. To this day, I cannot get over how awesome it is to have Zombies expand until they explode. -
Definitely looks the same, and it seems that the outline of said tower is a bit clearer than before. Then again, it seems that it's just resized.

There has been some great detail lately in determining whether or not the Zombies universe resided in a comic book. I honestly wouldn't like the idea of finding out that this is all fiction within the game/"a dream", but the possibilities are endless at this point. The comic book appearance for the loading screens seems to convey a story and indicator of how far along we've come. At this point of Mob of the Dead, we are just barely in the middle of the comic book. viewtopic.php?f=149&t=32378 This thread has a good amount on the same idea that you're thinking in. A very good read, I must say. Dead Ops seems open to being canon, but there just isn't too much within it to make a large impact on the storyline.

Fastest Way to Get the Hells Retriever - Round 2
InfestLithium replied to Stuckdizzle's topic in Mob of the Dead
I don't understand why people need the Hell's Retriever so early in the game. It can still OHK up past 10. If you really dislike Brutus, however, then it is an enormous plus to have on hand. @BS: Getting it on Round 1 is by pure luck at this point. We're lucky that there's a Double Points drop in the spawn room. I understand that if you take the time to shoot the zombies numerous times before getting the headshot, you'll acquire another said drop within the round, yes? That would mean a secondary chance of an additional Double Points given that Brutus does not spawn in the showers. -
. http://gearnuke.com/call-of-duty-black- ... es-leaked/ not a leak because it is in no way confirmed, but could be a good indicator of the timeline for the remaining dlc's Yet the article says "confirmed". It's easy to presume the estimated week when a DLC drops. Every 2-3 months, we grab ourselves a nice little DLC drop. Now the question becomes when will we get some kind of trailer for the next map. ;)

Mob of the Dead: Full Solo Guide
InfestLithium replied to perfectlemonade's topic in Mob of the Dead
I've cleaned up this thread. Please refrain from comments outside these strategies (or whatever strategy is posted). If you have a problem, do express the concern in a PM or talk to us if it's really that detrimental. By the way perfect, I tried this strategy and it's absolutely brilliant. Got myself to the 30's in a matter of an hour. That almost never happens for me. :) -
Why so much HATE towards shotgun rank?
InfestLithium replied to Murdah4Hire's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I let the match tell me what rank a player truly deserves to be. An image on the screen means nothing to me if they can't prove it. -
Element 115 In-Depth Explanation
InfestLithium replied to MysteryMachineX's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Very, very nice explanation and thorough connection, friendo. I've pondered for such a long time about Element 115, but never would I have guessed that the science behind it was more than just "a fictional supernatural rock". +1 and beyond. :)
