  1. In the original Samantha's Lullaby, you can hear the laughs, giggles, and reversed audio of a little girl. But in Mob of the Dead's version, those have been removed so it's just the lullaby itself.
  2. I think I'll stick with Option 2. I'm relatively good at cutbacks, but that staircase can be such a crapper if they spawn right in the dirt. Trains are not terrible at the docks. You can stay near the Beast spawn and run a few loops in that area without having to open the power generator room. Just keep a close eye on the zombies dropping form above. Cut-backs in that area plus in front of the cage (where you can pick up the air tanks) and you will have a glorious day.
  3. I believe so, but only in very minor detail. We know that we will encounter Samantha once more if she is indeed with the O3. There just wasn't really any way of speculating the find any further. But now that we have all these links, it's become a bit clearer.
  4. I'm glad you made the connection with them still accessing Area 51. So many people disregarded that and presumed they were stranded on the Moon. I understand that walking in a blown-up world with a hoard of the undead isn't exactly the safest option, but the fact remains that they still have entry to Earth. Nothing can escape Richtofen's sight. His quote about missing them refers to him not only abandoning his human body, but also betraying the ones who [kind of] entrusted him. Where have they gone, and what have they been doing since that event? We're only prepared to find out in possibly the next (or last) DLC.
  5. Samantha is just being involved heavily in Black Ops II. First we had her lullaby in Nuketown Zombies, then in the new discovery of Mob of the Dead's beginning gameover audio, anod now we're taking a closer look into the menu screen music. I guess it really does beg the question: will she ever get her body back?
  6. The nervous system (at least a part of it) including the brain and heart. I don't see any connection between Him and the Afterlife ghosts. One has their internal structure showing whereas the other is nothing but what most call "floating orbs/mists". People assume that there is a connection between both of these forms are supernatural and can produce an electric shock on command. Bear in mind that when someone is in Afterlife, they cannot harm the zombies; only teleport them.
  7. Absolutely great stuff here, friendo. Now I don't have to listen to video after video waiting for a specific quote when I can just come right back to here (not that the videos do not help of course). Something of great interest caught my attention. These quotes do show that Al knows a little bit about the cycle, but isn't it strange that everyone somehow remembers Al shanking Ferguson? It has been said that "killing" Ferguson is what caused the cycle to truly begin in the first place because they rewrote history in their own minds. Funny how they can't remember the things they built or the sights they saw, yet they remember that one particular instance. Also, these quotes prove that Brutus is some form of a reincarnated Ferguson. It almost seems like he is giving the crew a large guilt trip for killing him, even though none of it is real. Way to make them feel welcome to Purgatory.
  8. The Vector is also a great SMG to use in objective-based matches. There is very little original recoil and it has a quick firing speed. It also does a good deal of damage . :)
  9. I always find it excruciatingly difficult to recover and go down that damned stairwell. Once you get past the numbers machine, that small staircase leading to the outside will definitely be a make-or-break for you. Having a Zombie Shield can help, but it's risky on the higher rounds.
  10. The N4 are great. Like Riss said, they just aren't fleshed out enough. Once we learn where they come from and why they are here doing what they are doing, then we'll all have an "OHHHHH" moment. For the most part, the big complaint most people have about them is "how they aren't as funny as the O4". Give it time - I've heard some pretty funny quotes from each of them. On a side note: I love Clark. I love Elena because she is extremely talented with her vocals and knows how to set the mood in every song as a unique expression. With just the two songs that Clark has set for us, I can tell that we're on a good path. He has great potential; people are just using old references to amplify their opinions.
  11. Moved to Future Zombies. This idea has been tossed around so much, but I don't think it would happen at this point. Why would Zombies be underwater? How would the mechanics of an Atlantis map play out? Perhaps an underwater base may work, like AUTEC that could be within visible distance of Atlantis.
  12. So many things are wrong with this. The fact that they are different voice actors, followed by no reason for Sal to be hearing "Richtofen", then each of them calling one another by the N4's names is just...so hard to understand. I honestly think that this is was a very, very rough draft of what Die Rise was supposed to begin with before all the correct voice acting and effects came into play.
  13. Welcome to the community, friendo! It looks like you're all set to slay some freakbags then, huh? It's always nice to see someone who is very willing to communicate in some fashion when they can't talk on the mic (or if they have none). I just love how almost every Mob of the Dead match ends up reaching a fairly decent round trying to obtain one of those two. Enjoy your stay and slay on!
  14. But something like this shouldn't be audible specifically towards one character. Are you certain that the person who holds the fifth - and last - Brutus doesn't hear it? I would assume that shooting off the last cap would make the sound initiate, but only to the player that last activated the special trigger (in this case, the last cap).
  15. I started Call of Duty zombies when I was...perhaps 16? That's about three years ago. I would let my kid play as long as they are five years old. They need to understand that the world isn't always full of sunshine and rainbows, but they will also be taught not to believe in everything you hear and see. As they grow up playing these kind of games, I'll teach them the responsibilities as a living, human being and tell them that the video games they play are not real to some extent so they do not attempt to replicate what they play. Anyone has the potential to become a responsible and mature person, regardless of age. It's the parents' job to teach their offspring how reality works.
  16. TywmpMQYojs Good for a laugh, horrible to slay to zombies with. You'll just drop your controller and storm out of the building shaking your head.
  17. Good experimentation. They are relatively similar in first person view, but I'm quite sure it's because we aren't able to quickly see the difference in melee weapons. The same goes for third person, but it is correct to say that we are starting off with shivs. So the utensils are actually floating around us at lightning speeds until we activate the bathtub? Fascinating.
  18. It's possible, but I can't say for sure. You ought to take a good deal of time reading this great thread by Requix: viewtopic.php?f=149&t=32282 Most catholic churches use the same chime. You may also hear a variation of the Big Ben chime across many college campuses. They're used to tell the time audibly, with each pattern occurring at a 15 minute interval. Once the hour has struck, you'll usually hear a dong noise repeatedly to indicate how many hours it has been since the new day. But who knows? Next step may just very well be somewhere in Britain. viewtopic.php?f=103&t=29310
  19. Depending on who said what from PTG, I wouldn't necessarily believe them if they claimed that it was left unfinished. They aren't the developer's; they wouldn't know. It's just another reason to trail off because a huge hype was created by them and now everyone is stuck at a dead-end. Doesn't mean that it's over though. When the bells are ringing, I noticed that it is very similar to a particular pattern of church bells. The pattern that plays is about half of the pattern. LiKOhOzQyZg 0:08 is the first part of the set that we hear from the PTG video. The rest directly after 0:08 is the remainder of the set that would accompany it. Strange that it was cut in half in-game.
  20. From what I recollect, you can only spawn one Brutus entity on the island, but a max of four on the bridge. That means that you cannot exceed past 5 reincarnations at the same time. He can spawn repeatedly throughout the round if you kill him though.
  21. Moved to Infinity Ward section. You notice lots of futuristic equipment being used here. I have a feeling that Multiplayer will by a hybrid between the Modern Warfare series and Black Ops II arsenal. Nothing extremely fancy, but not so basic. K-9 units will be in for sure though. :)
  22. What I hope the DLCs do not deliver are more of these towers. If I have to see one more "activate the tower" Side Mission, I'm going to cut my arm off with a Ballistic Knife.
  23. Ah, okay. That makes sense. It doesn't seem like something you'd simultaneously do with the other Brutus reincarnations because the timing would have to be near perfect in order to do so. I noticed that using a Retriever/Redeemer knocks the caps off instantly. It may not have to do with shooting at all in that scenario.
  24. The bells tend to go off when you knock the caps off Brutus every time. I don't understand how people do not hear them.
  25. The font color really hurt my eyes, but I managed to read through it with a bit of altering (copying and pasting into Notepad, haha). Needless to say, this is well thought out and interesting! As TheVyhl said, there seems to be a great amount of connections between each mythological/theological/ancient form of death in a God-like form. The more we learn about these, the more pieces that come together to see why certain elements are present inside Mob of the Dead. Keep up the good work, friendo. :)
