Did the warden belong to the 'flesh'
InfestLithium replied to Z0M3IE_SLAYA_115's topic in Mob of the Dead
I don't think the Warden belonged to The Flesh. That group seems to have been created during Richtofen's reign as the zombie overlord. Plus, note Regulation #666 in the prison that says to not interact or go near the zombies. I'm quite certain that the Warden knew better than to go against his own instructions. Satanic rituals would not necessarily mean being a part of the cult either. It does seem similar in the way that each side had worshiped some higher being than them for a specific purpose. Why the Warden would begin such worship is beyond me. -
A very nice coincidence at that, but could be quite plausibly. I can imagine Treyarch thinking "hey - they got the word FEAR by using the first letter of each Black Ops DLC name. What if we used the LAST letter of each DLC for Black Ops II?". Genius move, 3arc. Genius.

Through a glitch, yes. I know that two can be obtained from retrieving the skulls and pulling one from the box. But if you decide to do that, obtain the Mystery Box one first.

COD elite for zombies?
InfestLithium replied to NeedaLittleRevive's topic in General Zombies Discussion
It's really beneficial for keeping track of your statistics that don't show up in-game. When you're in a clan, there are sometimes (very rarely though) Zombies challenges that are very easy to pull off but give you a good incentive to work on, such as "Reach a combined total of 1,500 headshots". -
I think I know what happened. The OP activated the ledge glitch in the Buddha Room, which Treyarch fixed so the player would be punished by having their weapons removed followed by a sudden "push" and Richtofen's laughter.

Filling in the Storyline -- Theories of What's Happening
InfestLithium replied to bagel_'s topic in Mob of the Dead
There is no evidence to support this. The perks were being sent from a different dimension; that is why they are phasing in an out. They do not belong in this time frame. Our best guess as to the maximum date is directly during the events of Der Riese, or right before it. We know this because Lucifer is in control, and not Samantha or Richtofen. These are some great ideas, bagel. I'm trying to piece things together, so it may take me some time to give such a direct reply. +1, friendo. :) -
Phd Flopper 2.0 Old Effect: Take no fall damage; resistance to explosive damage; dolphin diving creates small explosion. New Effect: Same, but increased the splash radius to cripple all surrounding zombies 2x. New Price: 4500 Mule Kick 2.0 Old Effect: Carry an extra gun. New Effect: Also allows player to carry additional (new) lethal and tactical grenades. New Price: 6000 Deadshot Daiquiri 2.0 Old Effect: Lock-on to heads for easier headshots. New Effect: Headshot multipliers allow for easier headshots. New Price: 2500

At least it's not like Black Ops knifing. Who knows what kind of rage I might bestow upon the lobby if I get another 50-foot lunger again. It seems that knifing has to be dead-on accurate now in general. No more long distance lunging; just some good ol' hand-to-hand combat. Of course, the mechanics are a bit quirky and sometimes you'll miss even when you're two inches away from the enemy.

I don't mind the grenade launcher attachments, because I usually have Flak Jacket on all my classes (even on Hardcore). If anything, fear the C4 storm. :x

It becomes very apparent when it occurs mid-round, as that is the trigger for successfully completing a certain step for the Hell's Redeemer.
-
Hm, that is very interesting. The relation between Hobomoko taking the woman's life with the tomahawk is almost parallel with us taking the "lives" of the zombies with the Hell's Retriever in order to gain the Hell's Redeemer. Perhaps that is where to tomahawk justifiably comes into the game. Nice discovery, friendo. :)

It revolves primarily around a specific equation that ultimately leads to points. Many players have experienced receiving power drops very early in the rounds if you maximize your points. There are, however, internal points that are only visible within the game's system. Some have called them "team points" for lack of a better name. A player can earn drops based off the team points or individual player points. The whole "save that drop for later" only holds true in the higher rounds, because just about every drop involves you obtaining more points in some way (i.e. nukes giving 400 points, carpenter giving 200 [i may be wrong with that number]). There is indeed a trigger for this that can make multiple drops happen in one instance, but it's undetermined as to what that trigger might be. I just prevent grabbing unnecessary drops that won't really help me too much, like a second Max Ammo after just receiving one/filling up or grabbing a carpenter while I'm not even remotely close to a barricade. :D

"If you cook your frag correctly and make it explode when you get hit by a zombie, you'll won't take any damage and will become invincible the rest of the game."

This is great. I've stickied this topic for future reference. :)

Quest for Shotguns from One Bone - Advice
InfestLithium replied to NeedaLittleRevive's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I strongly advise not to make the separate account just to show off shotguns, but hey - that's just me. 1. I like YaThirstyPartner better than the other options. Maybe it's just because I automatically start singing the tune when I read those words. 2. It varies on how well you do each game. While your K/D ratio should be above 200.00, other statistics will also affect your overall ranking so be sure to focus on those as well (such as revives, headshots, accuracy, etc). The closing threshold to receive the shotguns would be about 15,000 career kills. A good Survival game can take you perhaps 2-3 hours to hit the low 40's with over 1k kills. Grief may also substantially increase this is you are serious about raising all your stats in one sitting. If you play about 5-7 hours a day playing consecutively great games with very little [to no] downs, you should get them in about 4-5 days. Increasing the allotted gameplay time will quicken the rate in which you level up. 3. I would go about Survival. Modes like Tranzit and Die Rise take too long (unless you go Solo), and Grief may hinder your statistics if you aren't playing aggressively. A good few games of Survival Farm will get you to your goal in no time. -
Are you talking about Uprising? If so, there's a whole forum about it right here: viewforum.php?f=149

How the golden spork is formed *theory*
InfestLithium replied to Z0M3IE_SLAYA_115's topic in Mob of the Dead
Like you said, we know that 115 can be used to enhance an object to abnormal circumstances. The element is infused with the blood and acid when killing zombies, and that's the mixture which flows into the bathtub. The 115 still lingers around the spoon even after it's been combined. I think that is why a zombie arm arises from the tub (which is very, very creepy by the way) and delivers the golden spork to you. There is something about the spork's new properties that can take down zombies in such a massive manner. Yes, you can say that it's just to enhance the gameplay so we have a little toy to play with. But if you like to go well into the depth of how that's even possible outside the mechanics, we may as well just say this: In a sense, yes; the first "Wonder Weapon" to date. I wouldn't put it on such a list if someone were to ask me that questions though. -

Moon Easter Egg Prerequisites
InfestLithium replied to dellmaster5000's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Like others have said, be 100% sure that the player who is Richtofen has done both the Call of the Dead AND Shangri-la Easter Eggs. So if, say, you did them but not him, then you'd have to be Richtofen. I've encountered this problem several times before people told me about the exact player information. -
This is genius. Utterly, brilliant. I - as well as others - can now fully grasp what is exactly going on inside Mob of the Dead without having to go for a scavenger hunt on articulate details or the bigger picture. Awesome work here, friendo. :)

Very very nice, Rissole. The beginning will become the end...this is going to strike up some very interesting speculations now. Great job, friendo. :) -
~Why there have to be 6+ maps to go~
InfestLithium replied to Electric Jesus's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Hm, that is very keen observation. And it makes sense because you wouldn't have a certain set of pages and then have an irregular or mismatching set right after the middle of the comic book. That would just be a fatal flaw on Treyarch's part. I don't think that they'd continue this story (as far as Black Ops II goes) into the beyond titles; perhaps something much similar to the Rezurrection DLC that included a few maps? It seems illogical to repeat that step, but hey - how else will you squeeze so many maps in?
