  1. If we're going by the technicality of zombies surviving through the lava, then couldn't we insinuate the same for us? I mean, I don't know a single human being that could just run through lava and be still standing in one piece. But the thought of zombies surviving it alone does mean that something fishy is going on here. As for the comparison to the fire traps, having a wall of uncontrolled fire cover a zombie at what-seems-to-be rapid flaring and very high temperatures is not exactly the same as running through lava. I always assumed though that the lava wasn't really a pool as we thought; rather, it's actually sitting on molten lava mixed with the road much like a piece of paper on the floor?
  2. This. Also, it seems to me that the pattern was kind of affiliated with the gameplay itself. For instance, BO's PaP pattern was a computer processor chip design. What is felt like it meant was as the crew continued on into the space-age era (obvious w/ Cold War), weapons have become more versatile and massively destructive. The pattern symbolized the improvement in said weapons and technology. The pattern in BO:II looks...well, destroyed. Every time I'm looking down at my PaP'ed Galil, I see what looks like cracks in it. Reminds me of the ground where there's lava cracks and melted texture. Personally, I see it as an apocalyptic look to the weapons where mankind is pretty much obliterated.
  3. Well, they wouldn't be yelling "RICHTOFEN", that's for sure. As for the sudden change; then yes; Tac is correct on this one. I think it could've only taken a matter of days (or even a week) from the time Richtofen gained control to the current events in Green Run.
  4. Can't we all just agree that he's making all of us sit on the very edge of our seats begging to have some kind of sign? Seems to me someone is doing their job right.
  5. It means nothing, other than progressing towards Maxis's side of the Easter Egg. The power being on/off determines what side you choose. The only thing Avogadro is useful for is completing the step in which you EMP him underneath the pylon.
  6. http://www.callofdutyzombies.com/forum/ ... 11#p198452 The only closest thing I could ever make of Group 601. I think Tac better summarizes it than I do.
  7. Green Run is actually located in Hanford, WA. viewtopic.php?f=100&t=11967
  8. Welcome to the forums! I like your thinking lad - nothing better than offering alternatives to the norm. Gets the juices flowing through our creative caps, y'know? I'm surprised that you took into consideration that obvious road which most people seem to overlook. If there were a way to clear that debris, I'm sure that would be the only meaningful way out of Hanford (seeing as I don't see where else they could possibly exit). While I like the idea, I don't think the next DLC will be solely based on Tranzit and the crew's escape. From what I'm gathering, I'm assuming you mean that the DLC will literally be Tranzit still but with the option to go through that blocked road, correct? If I'm not, then you must mean something else in regards to that road. But either way, I think you're trying to say that particular path will be the crew's chance to getting out of Hanford.
  9. Calm down lad, it's only a nickname given for time's sake - the question on what to truly define either or can be discussed on a different topic. But I would like the name "Teslatron". Anyhoo, I do find that the bus driver's quotes are directing us to think a certain way. Like PINNAZ had already mentioned, most of these are government facilities that are obscure/top secret and might be destroyed due to the rockets. Now you have a few exceptions like the Grand Canyon and Hawaii (which I'm sure is mentioned as well from what I recall). What we can collect from the random rollcall of locations is that this particular company and/or bus offers tours around the country and clearance to top-secret facilities apparently. Not to mention, the navigation is all screwy, so a direct location is not properly addressed. This might be why the bus suddenly derailed into Hanford; if you look behind the Bus Depot at the very start of the game, you can see the bus pass by, drive over a ledge, through the lava pool in the corner, and back on the road. Maybe this was meant to have due to the programming of the GPS, but considering the bus keep making circles around the map w/o any change, maybe one of the locations pointed out by the bus driver can be considered our "next stop" for the current crew.
  10. It looks like a large ember happening to flow through, but then again, it looks rather interesting how it travels directly to the machine. The video doesn't exactly tell how this occurred, but maybe this is what happens when the Easter Egg is done in the correct order for the NavCard to be accepted?
  11. Umm, this video has been widely acknowledged for a few days already. Those are Maxis by the way, not Richtofen. And from what the community has gathered, the Easter Egg is pretty much done aside getting the NavCard accepted.
  12. It would most likely be a transition much similar to Shangri-La. Texture change is not too difficult anyways.
  13. So essentially, there was supposed to be trigger event in which the daytime could switch over to night, and the energy beams sprouting from the pylon would shoot towards the moon to further display the effects of the Easter Egg from Moon (a.k.a. Richtofen / Maxis receiving power)? I knew those stupid beams of light weren't going to any particular direction as far as we were concerned, but they do move towards different eyes yet the moon ought to be stationary based on the videos we have seen thus far...is this a fail on Treyarch's part?
  14. Denizens will only create portals where there is green streetlights. That being said, you'd probably have to open up every streetlight with portals on the map to ensure neither of them take you someplace different. Even then, if you attempt to bring them into any particular station (Depot, Diner, Town, etc etc.), they will quickly jump off your head if you go in too deep. The only known area that they will not jump off is at power. For some reason, they will continue to swipe at you for as long as they're on your head regardless whether you just entered or are already in the middle of the area.
  15. I'll have to agree on the Executioner being one badass revolver. If you're one of the lucky souls to get it on early rounds, I promise that it will be a gift from the Gods. You can have the Raygun all you want, but if there's an Executioner/VoJ waiting to be in my hands, there's no question who is the winner. Manage your shooting wisely, and it can even be your last resort weapon when things start looking bad. Now you got me on a gun-observing spree, so lemme just check off other overlooked weapons in the game... + PaP'ed DSR is beautiful. Quick-scoping seems pointless in zombies. But if you have a nice cluttered train going on and there's no chance to fully scope in, you can wipe out at least 4 per shot even in the high 20's. When you land a headshot, the bullet will fire through the zombie and pass into the one right behind it until there's no more zombies in the way. Oh my God, it's just so orgasmic. + The M1216 is one of those weapons that you have to fully acknowledge before using. Most of the randoms I play with either pass up the weapon or use the four-shot trigger to kill a zombie. It breaks my heart when they do it, because it's a shotgun. Early on, you can OHK if you aim correctly. Even when you're training around the early 20's, the M1216 will still last if you sacrifice the firepower for spraying. When PaP'ed, you earn yourself a great friend for clearing anything in front of you. + I know this has been kind looked upon with a frown, but the MP5 is excellent on any round. Yes, it eats up ammo like a fat kid with cake or an internet-user with bacon, but if you play the headshot game like I do during the high rounds, you'll wish you knew about the power of the MP5. Add your Double-Tap II, and voila - you got yourself a decapitation machine for the rest of the game. Maybe I take the MP5 more seriously than the average slayer because I generally train at the Diner and it's really the only weapon available, but still - even un PaP'ed, that SMG will be of great service. I'm not even going to talk about the SMR. You can guys call it a degradable FAL, but it'll always remain to be the worst weapon in the game. Hell, I'd rather take my chances with the Ballistic Knife til Round 40 than to have that piece of turd.
  16. It's not just missing quotes that we might hear; rather, it's what happens when those quotes are said. We have no clue what happens when the NavCard is accepted, nor does any of the exploited code show it. I feel that it may pull a Moon stunt where the player has to have some pre-qualifying items/events triggered before being able to fully access the Easter Egg. I'm very reluctant on saying that the current Easter Egg will carry on over to the next DLC, but at the same time, I get thing off feeling that if we don't accomplish a certain task right now, we'll be forced to go back and do that something in order to progress. Reminds you of anything?
  17. Yes, this has been seen for a long time now. As for the direction, it would depend on the beam of light. Some people have seen it go to the side of the bank, into the bank, and through the window of the 2nd floor. I just assumed that it was generally trying to direct us the the bank, but I have no clue what the light beams mean at this point.
  18. I've always done Maxis' side of the Easter Egg by capturing Avogadro's energy from the EMP and then setting down turbines. I've done it on two different accounts, and helped a few others get the Achievement with that particular order. Not sure if that's ultimately incorrect?
  19. Well, we have the fact that we can choose either side gives us something to lean on. It seems though that Maxis is our best option not only because it would be the right thing to do, but mainly because he mentions that there are other "spires" that need to be powered the same way. In the future DLC, I have a feeling the setup will be quite similar but more challenging and with various complications that will make it harder for the players to complete. As for Richtofen...I'm just guessing his will always be the same; "give me power power yah that's good nein nein do it like that oh yes power to me la la la". After all, many have already suggested that the setup of the campaign is often associated with the zombie mode itself, so perhaps the actions we partake in now will reflect how things will be accomplished in the future.
  20. The bus does not learn a new route. If it could, where would it go? The NavCard has been found to be working now, but nobody knows what it's good for yet. As for the Maxis quotes, it could be a stored memory unit that will allow you special access to something within the next DLC. As far as everyone is concerned, the Easter Egg is seemingly completed for now.
  21. Truthfully, zombies timeline jumps all over the place ever since Black Ops. Most likely, we will have yet another time lapse where we must piece together how each map coincides with one another. Although, it's going to be even more confusing since we could even establish base that this Easter Egg was practically done. :P
  22. https://twitter.com/ZielinskiJimmy/stat ... to/1/large It came from his Twitter feed.
  23. The moon was not nuked? The only thing that is apparently nuked is the Earth; remember that we still have the original crew up there (supposedly based on what we have recollected in Moon).
  24. Just upload them via external sites like Imageshack, Photobucket, or Tinypic (which is free whether you have an account or not as well). Then insert the link into tags. If that's what you mean?
