  1. I'd be willing to put all my money in the bank into this theory. They do appear to have tails (regardless if they're short or not), and certainly sound like a monkey. Every time I see the cages, I automatically think back to BO in both Five and the research lab in Campaign (where you play as Mason killing Steiner/Hudson attempting to stop Mason). These cages had monkeys as well, and I'd be damned if they were somehow linked together [honestly I have better faith in the Five research lab, seeing as Five is also based in America unlike the other maps excluding NML]. Again, this also makes clear sense to me. They appear not only in the forest areas, but darker areas like the cornfields, tunnel, and bridge. Hanford, Washington is mainly an agricultural community. Around 1943, the area depopulated to form what was known as the Hanford Site, which was a key factor in the Manhattan Project. It was a nuclear production facility that actually had tested plutonium for the first nuclear bomb that would soon be used over Nagasaki. All this information is already under a different thread that I can't seem to find. But moving onto the point I'm driving across...the atmosphere in which Hanford is located in is a perfect choice of settlement for the monkeys. The exposed plutonium plus whatever radioactive elements (possibly including 115 from the missiles) supports your claim. Animal instinct is also to survive, so these monkeys are well aware of the damages caused by radiation and seem to prefer avoiding the surface unless feeling endangered [in this case, our crew]. You're spot on. The lights may be "harmful" to them for a good reason. Like you said, their eyes have adapted to the darkness and cannot withstand the amount of light. Notice how if you go under the a streetlight that is not lit, the Denizens will not create a portal. Yet once the light shines on, they scramble to burrow themselves underground. This remains true when you enter specific areas with enough light surrounding it (i.e. Bus Stops). Any creature that has adapted to the darkness underground (both realistic and fictional) has portrayed characteristics of "fearing" the light from the surface if it too much exposure for them to handle. Even the human eye is keen to this detail. Stay in a dark room for too long and go outside where the Sun is shining brightly. Your eyes will begin to squint and you pretty much are blinded for a couple of minutes. As for the underground system...I have no idea whatsoever. The radioactive abilities of 115 still remain fully unclear, however, is known to be used a fuel source for teleporters. We have seen, experimented, and proven this since WaW. If a ballistic missile filled with 115 crashes into the Earth, it spreads the radioactivity all across the land. These radioactive elements (even in ground) still disperse throughout the Earth. I guess it's safe to theorize that 115 is underground. Even with that assertion, our crew can easily jump into a teleporter on the surface. I have a feeling that the Denizen digs down quicker and deeper than usual, thus releasing 115 to be exposed out into the hole they just made. As a result, a portal is made. Think of digging through wet sand on the beach where the tide closes. If you dig deep enough, you can actually witness water somehow exposing itself in the hole (well, at least when I dug in the sand as a kid). But that would have to mean an ass-load of 115 to make a teleporter. Oh wait, we can do it. Generated light from the given streetlight + massive exposure of 115 both underground and in air due to missiles infused with them + space for 115 to be extracted (hole) = portal. Of course, this idea came completely out of my ass, so I could be as far as -100% correct. But an idea is an idea.
  2. It DOES get extremely difficult when the guns shoot rubber bullets, yes. I've been so lucky to have the other guys to get drops every 10 mins or so, haha. But seriously guys, if you want to discuss/debate/argue whether or not I reached a particular round, just PM instead of clogging up the thread. I know it pertains to the topic somewhat but still...just directly tell me how you feel over a personal message rather than on here. :D
  3. 50-97 is about 3000 waves. Saying 45s per wave (2 waves per 90s cooldown of the Jet Gun) makes about 40h for the full game. But you talk about one day off you had. You needed at least 2, rather 3 cause you kinda need to sleep in between. No one calls a 40h game "as long as I could". Everyone that has been at 60+ knows, that everything that is no insta kill does as much as a water pistol. So no one would talk about a "good arsenal", you would say "ran train with the jet gun". Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa - I never said I used the Jet Gun as my primary; though I did use it for about a good 20-ish rounds (not straight), it eventually broke around 60 something. I'm not saying I did it all in one day either; it was a two day game for me (as for the other guys, I don't exactly know how they did it but at that point we weren't even talking much - I believe they were in the power building glitch if I recall). No one would talk about a "good arsenal"? I beg to differ - you could have a rather shotty arsenal.
  4. Proof? Not a problem - I'll get right to it when I can. Not sure why you'd care so much for my own stats when I post to merely list my ranking in addition to game results - as the topic is all about - but don't worry, I never get offended.
  5. You mean that?
  6. 97? You didn't mean to type 97 or did you? No, I meant to type 97? I didn't have school or work today (thank the Heavens for that too), so a few buddies of mine and I played for as long as we could. It wasn't that hard since I was running a train at Farm with a pretty damn good arsenal. I won't be playing anything related to Farm for a long, long while now haha.
  7. Okay, so I went full zombie mode since I got back my Live yesterday (thank the Heavens) and did a shart-load of zombie slayin'. Here's what I got: Skull w/ Dagger (2 Tallies and No blue eyes due to inactivity of three days) By highest rounds: Tranzit: Round 97 (4p but lost one at Round 22) Town: Round 56 (2p but lost connection around Round 51) Farm: Round 41 (Solo)
  8. Just experimented with the Jet Gun. Flying is of very short distance; technically, it's more of hovering than per say a jet pack. By the time you hit the critical mark, you've only gone about a few feet (from the Bar in Town, I managed to reach a little into the lava pool in the center). Getting onto a barricaded building (like the bowling alley) is not going to happen. It does not suck in fog. When you attempt it, it really does look like it's being trapped inside the engine. But once the air effects disappear, the fog will still remain untouched. Standing (and jumping) on a Denizen teleporter yields nothing. Even while transporting [using the Jet Gun as you jump into it), nothing special occurs. Jet Gun + Bus Driver = No bueno. He takes it as you attempting to assault him. Strange, since all it's really doing is sucking you in. Hell - even the notepad underneath him won't get into the belly of that Jet Gun. I have a feeling that the gun should be used for the floating orbs around the streetlights, but this has been debunked quite a few times. At one point, I shot the streetlight (with the supposed orb around it) and it actually cut off the blinking lights. But after several attempts, I realized I was unintentionally using the gun when the Morse code would take a break between phrases. Maybe I'm stupid for thinking that sucking in an orb with a vacuum-like gun would present something interesting. Then again, anything goes in Zombies. Edit: Has nothing to do with a church, or Jet Gun; however, I did find this: Just thought this was a very interesting sight. I know it's simply one of those Richtofen things like the "NOW DIE" at the Diner, but this one seems more...relevant to examine than the others? Haha, I'm losing my mind.
  9. So I'm pretty sure this was mentioned somewhere (however, I cannot find it for the life of me), but when you start the game of Tranzit, you'll notice there are already pacified zombies in the starting room where we first meet our crew. It's been on my mind for a while, but I can't seem to figure out why this situation occurs seeing as we have never encountered this before. This led me to question the event at hand. - Why are there zombies in the same starting room as us? It might make sense if our crew walked into the room and voila - zombies everywhere. But even if that were the case, how would they have gotten into the depot in the first place? - Why are the zombies pacified? The only way they will start attacking you is if you shoot/melee them, wait around for half a minute (or so), or run around acquiring pieces for the Turbine. - A bit off topic, but Maxis' voice is transmitting from what sounds to be a radio, however, there is no radio in sight. One might suggest it's part of the "voices in the head" ordeal, but the quality of Richtofen's voice versus Maxis' differs greatly. There's gotta be something here. [Note]
  10. Negative. System Linked a game by myself. Zombies on fire still explode when on fire. This occurs both when shooting and stabbing them.
  11. And on top of that, why would you want to stand on the cornfields? The only thing you'll see is the electric tower and the Proto-type of NDU. Although I'm pretty sure it's impossible to get above them b/c the coding limits of the field is set in parameters that are more like blocked-off walls than, say, a board from a barricade (hence there being so many glitch spots like BO). But if you CAN fly temporarily with the Jet Gun, just think of what we may stumble across...maybe that small tucked away space in the brick building outside the power station? The church is very sketchy (though I believe a barricade is just there for when zombies come after you since Denizens won't pop out upon rearing the ledge).
  12. Sounds like a way of using game mechanics to get unfair kills, really. Nevertheless, a pretty damn interesting method that I have to try out once I have time to play after work!
  13. His voice actor plays the main character Maximillian in Dark Cloud 2 (best PS2 RPG game ever might I add); as soon as I heard Marlton, I knew it was a perfect match. To be honest, I think the voice goes pretty nicely with the setup for Marlton.
  14. Er...what a long read this page has been. *ahem* Anyhoo, reading those storyline-related quotes made me remember the post about the bus's original crusade going across the United States. Since we have the quotes directly in front of us, it's safe to say now that this bus was not confined to Hanford; rather, used for special tourism. By special, I mean designating passengers to government-regulated facilities (HAARP Research Station, flux facility, Ducle base, etc.) moreso than simple vacation resorts. What really confuses me is Hawai'i. Why would a bus be heading towards the islands, yet the quote literally states the bus will drown? The GPS is awkward and begins to act funky [hence the quotes about crossing several sites while still in Hanford]. Why was the bus set to reach particular sites that are mainly government operated - normal civilians wouldn't have been able to really access such facilities that easily. TL;DR: The bus has been set to reach certain classified areas across the United States where they would have to be under strict government control. This isn't any ordinary coach to transport everyday passengers; these sites must lead up to one big explanation as to why the bus is of greater importance (or is it solely to let us know about the HAARP Station?).
  15. Certain teleporters are linked to one another, regardless whether the Easter Egg is done or not. In other words, it doesn't take you someplace new. I know for a fact that there's set location where each portal will take you. For instance, the one between Nacht and the spire (road) will take you after the large lava pool after Diner everytime. I'll map out each portal's destination tomorrow.
  16. You're on the right path, but I'll have to challenge those theories. I just (as of right this instant) leveled up from a Skull w/ blue eyes to Skull w/ blue eyes w/ 5 tallies w/ a dagger. This was a result of playing a Survival Match on Farm for 31 rounds, precisely 1,134 kills/26 revives/4 downs/422 headshots. I've been on the Blue-eyed skull for almost a week now, and it finally changed. I don't average anywhere close to 10k kills, however, I do believe there is a particular set average on certain statistics. No longer is this about high rounds. If you keep playing survival and go far with a large enough stat record per game, I believe ranking up will become easier.
  17. It's not a glitch. A group of us (including myself) did an investigation and achieved the NavCard via Solo match next to the Depot. Then we went into a Custom Game, and voila! We all had NavCards. When you set up the workbench under the Tower, the NavCard reader can identify each person's card. One of our mates (unfortunately the one who kept dying on us) held the last card since the three of us were not accepted (meaning our cards were not the correct ones). All in all, we didn't check that last card because our went down way too many times and wasn't around long enough to try it out, but...someone finish this off for us.
  18. Also, it's not 200,300 boards. It's anywhere from 200-300 boards in one game. You gave me a heart-attack thinking I'd have to repair that many boards.
  19. VERY well hidden. The best route to getting to it is either dropping off of the bus after the large lava pool when exiting the Diner to Farm (because it's practically impossible to jump across) or working your way reverse (Depot > Town > Power > Farm). When going the correct direction, it'll be on your left hand side. The fog is very musky, so stay close to the rocks until you pass a broken-down car. After it, there's a small pathway that goes through some trees and you'll start to see lights attached to buildings. Eventually you'll run into a barricade of cars with two open spaces at each side entering town. Drop off of the ramp, and you're right next to Double Tap II.
  20. My apologies - I thought he was speaking of the Diner area that is not clickable. That is the shortcut between Diner/Farm to Town. From what I have experienced, the only intriguing thing there is the church on your left whilst entering the ramp to town.
  21. Sorry to burst your bubble, but that is the Diner.
  22. Open it with a turbine and you can access the Semtex. Nothing strange in that room, really.
  23. The light glows orange with that orb. As does the mystery box. I recall when we did it (I was not Samuel so the street light orb wasn't visible to me), I hit the mystery box and received a glowing RPD. Just as it shows in the video, however, the glow remained on the RPD even after the cycle was complete. Perhaps the weapons that remain with the orange glow ought to be used on the streetlights? Also, those 6 morse code phrases seem like mini-steps. In essence, let's take a detailed look at each code... HELP ME SO I CAN HELP YOU - Whoever is sending this wants the crew's help badly. It's unknown what the intention of this sender is, but they claim to aid the crew if they help whoever this person is. Perhaps this person is someone who plans on cleansing the Earth and preventing further destruction of it to give the enemy an edge...possibly Maxis? THE FUTURE IS OURS TO DESTROY - Considering the condition of the Earth at the moment, it's pretty...well, screwed up. What future is being viewed here - a future of restoration and cleansing (Maxis), or a future of demolition and darkness (Richtofen)? Whatever case this may be, one thing is certain: the sender wants to avoid one of these two's goals. POWER IS KNOWLEDGE - This phrase has been around since WaW, and its meaning remains the same. For the longest time, we all assumed that it literally had to do with turning on power (since power has been a key factor in completing all Easter Eggs). Then again, it could even mean that to hold the most power is to obtain great knowledge. It's been around for as long as any player can remember so don't think too hard about this one just yet. GO TO THE LIGHT - This is by far the most interesting phrase out of the bunch. Think about it: didn't the video display what happens to the streetlight after completing the Easter Egg? The orange glow appears around it, indicating something in according with the street light must happen. But if we go beyond it, there's a second light we often look for: the Mystery Box. Just as the video shows again, the Mystery Box too has the weird orange glow during the weapon cycle. I believe that getting a certain weapon from the box (see my experience above) would be linked to the streetlights...shooting at it with a particular weapon perhaps? Maybe we should look for more light-related objects. STAY CLOSE TO ME - Well, we can throw out the idea of the original crew communicating with the new one. Why? Grammatically speaking, the word "me" is often directed towards one individual. You can't say "me" in plural form at all; that being said, this sender is solo and wants our crew to keep close communication with them. They need our help, after all, so it's probably best if we keep an eye on the actions and statements from our crew. ENERGY CAN ONLY BE TRANSFORMED - I automatically think of Avogadro. Maybe you don't, but I start to think of Maxis's step where you must EMP him at the right time and place in order to catch his energy. I could be greatly wrong, however, what we do know is that some shift in energy is being transformed. Transformation is like a tunnel; once it goes in one way, it comes out a whole different way (okay okay bad analogy but you get my point). The Law of Conservation of Mass states that mass can neither be created nor destroyed. Taking this into account, some form of energy in the storyline must shift with or into another object. Maybe this sender needs a particular amount and defined set of energy, or do they plan on switching places with someone...? All I know is that these morse codes were not implemented coincidentally. Treyarch knew we would catch onto this, and some of the phrases discovered are for sure derived from a particular individual that we know. The only question is, who sent us these messages? And even if we do figure out the sender, why are we receiving these? The only step I can actually see happening is either the light or energy transformation phrase concluding the Easter Egg. Even so, this is clearly a distress signal to our crew. I do have speculation on who this mystery sender is...
  24. In that sense, then the actions that partook on Moon were not what we thought they were; of course we never verified that it was actually in a given time frame similar to other maps with the original crew. I have a feeling though that you're right, though. If the missiles were to attack Earth in the near future, that would mean there's a distortion in time somewhere. The most evident source of it? The original crew and the teleporters. We know that they can skip through time, and because of that sudden time jump in Call of the Dead, it is highly possible that Moon would actually be a future event and the events in Hanford are directly after. Might I also add that the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) was not created until 1992. Let me emphasize that. 1992. There were many other disease control agencies such as the Office of National Defense Malaria Control Activities (1942), the Communicable Disease Center (1946-1967) and the most recent prior to the federal CDC, the Center for Disease Control (1970-1980). Even if we are to presume that the CDC we consistently play as in Zombies is the 70s-80s, it would be impossible to assume because of the advanced technology (weapons, equipment, surroundings, etc.). That being said, the current CDC's establishment would only further prove that all these events had to occur AT LEAST after 1980. Last time I checked, we were stuck in the late 60's/early 70's in BO: Zombies. Now as for how our new crew went from Nuketown to Hanford...that part remains a mystery. Once the nuke dropped, I'm sure there would be nothing but a wasteland. A trip from Nevada all the way to Washington is a rather long travel. Maybe a future DLC map would better identify how they traveled? Because like you said: that radiation after nukes and missiles would be heavy. If it could clear out the CDC and CIA agents that were there, I'm sure an ordinary group of young (and old) would not be able to withstand the radiation. And those ballistic missiles would not be normal if it only took three to make the Earth look like hell above ground.
