The Partially Cyclical Omnipotent Samantha Theory
nayrcraig replied to MysteryMachineX's topic in Origins
To try and help me understand this multiple time line thing I have a few questions. 1.Is the point in witch Sam decides to become a normal girl the point when the loop is created? 2. If so, when does she archive the power to to chose her reality -
The Partially Cyclical Omnipotent Samantha Theory
nayrcraig replied to MysteryMachineX's topic in Origins
That can surely happen. In the new timeline, everything that was to Samantha is nothing a but a toy game. So she does in fact tell Eddy about Origins, either secretly knowing, or blissfully unaware, that the events actually transpired. But from what I understand is that in your theory at the end if origins Sam gains full power, becomes "GOD" and choses to become a normal girl who is just telling a story to her friend/brother Eddie. The reason that doesn't work for me is that se begins telling the story before origins begins. -
the war machine is my least favorite gun, probable because I don't use Grenada much anyway but TBH I have never actually P-A-Ped it so I'll have to try that
-
TranZit already has an EE with an ending there is no need for any other ending to be added, primarily because it has never been done before and Treyarch have never said they plan on doing it and secondly because it would be hard to do without messing with the story in all of the other maps. The message from Treyarch could simple be talking about MOTD and origins

The Partially Cyclical Omnipotent Samantha Theory

@Delta You are claiming confusion of the actions of people who want the story to be real but yet disagree with MMX's theory, well I'll try to explain. I personally want the story to be real but first and foremost I want the story to suit the facts we are given, if the facts suggest the story isn't real (witch I'm not saying they are just giving an example) then I will have to believe it is not real, in regards to MMX's post, yes he gives a solution that allows the story to remain reality but if that solution contradicts facts (witch I believe it does and will explain in a minute) then I must reluctantly point out the flaws I see. Just because I disagree with his idea doesn't mean that I believe the story is all made up I just believe I personally need a different explanation. @IRurG I believe some of the things you are bringing up, Treyarch themselves have forgot, they were options they created but chose not to follow up, but just because they forgot about them doesn't mean we have to, it is great to see your ideas but it is also possible to understand the current story without knowledge of certain aspects as Treyarch did not make them necessary in the recent maps. I think the best thing to do here is agree to disagree and you can discus your ideas further at a different time. @MMX This is a fantastic sounding theory and I admire the work put into it, but unfortunately I do have a problem with it, two things I have noticed really don't add up, Firstly, I believe the opening lines of the intro to be said in the same setting of the ending scene, Sam talking to Eddie in her room, but she cannot be saying that if she gained the power to create the setting the the room after the events of origins. In my mind Sam is telling Eddie everything that happens in origins, from her speaking the opening lines to Eddie telling her she got it all wrong and unless I'm misinterpertating it, that cannot happen using your theory -
Fill Soul Boxes with Templar Souls? Round 1 Fists.
nayrcraig replied to yourmapper's topic in Origins
The zombies that spawn from the generators cannot be used for anything, and barely give points due to the fact that you can get an unlimited spawn of the on round 1. I wonder if Treyarch knew they would be abused or had to Nerf them completely during play testing -
Although there is no solid proof that Eddie is Richtofen, the fact that there are two people playing/controlling a game of zombie called Samantha and Edward, with Edward preferring blue eyes, is enough to prove it to me. The thing I am concentrating on is how does it fit in logical and what sam means by "A plan"
-
Awesome quick guide, Really clear and to the point
-
well I'm enjoying the journey so whats the problem?
-
Ok again people are stressing too much on the cut scene, il put it simply If Samantha is playing zombies with Edward aka Richtofen then Richtofen Was NOT part of origins and is there just for our Benefit as a FORTH playable character, Maxis head was not chopped open by Richtofen at all, that is just Samantha playing, kinda obvious with Maxis being alive in the end sequence right? And Richtofen being a teenager. Kinda proves the ending is just an homage to the zombie story so far... how can ric not be part of origins? he is mention in everything, and it is fundamental to the EE that he puts maxis in the quad-rotor, maybe origins is all part of the "Game" but if so then Richthofen is still present in the game
-
gonna try to make a list of all the things in the cut-scene that have been seen before in other maps or are a reference to our story eclipse outside Tranzit bus MOTD zombie Buried zombie Panzer zombie Ascension rocket Toys of the 04 excluding tank (possibly shown through POV of the tank figure) Jug bottle MOTD candels MOTD poster (Escape the Tomb) zombie in space suit manikin Teddy bear gramophone playing song Origins giant robot MP40 wall drawing W@W style radio Tallies on bed post showing Eddie:10 Sam:20 monkey bomb Toy box with "?" stones from shangri-la Golden Rod plus focusing stone Bow Plane similar to one crashed in nach opening Top of P-A-P housing form der riese 935 symbol without the numbers I can't recognize/make out the posters on the walls so if anyone can add them that would be great

Origins EE "Little Lost Girl" Written Steps + Staffs
nayrcraig replied to Ehjookayted's topic in Origins
Yep, I think 2 spawn per person cause with 2 people you get 4 -
Nice, didn't know about this. I wonder if this sympathy she shows to our characters is real or just faked to persuade them. While on the subject, I'm not really that fond of her new voice to be honest, it's not the voice per se but how she delivers her lines. She sounds almost, happy, when she speaks about the gateway and Agartha. It feels unnatural to me. Could be just bad voice acting though. I actually really like he voice when talking to the car actress directly in zombie blood, but I agree with you on here other lines, her tone seems a little of. I wanna try to hear what she had to say to Dempsey and especially ric, currently I am not sure on the sincerity of her comments, I think her reaction to the completion of the EE will help me to decide

Origins EE "Little Lost Girl" Written Steps + Staffs
nayrcraig replied to Ehjookayted's topic in Origins
You must throw it on the cracked ground behinds generator 5, but you must push the button, that spears after placing all the staffs in there place, just before someone else throws the beacon, unsure if this step is possible solo -
She also shows great sympathy to takeo and seems to know a lot about his family and way of life
-
I dunno if I am tainted with "new map must be perfect" mindset because I haven't played long enough but I think they have done a really good job on this map, ATM I have few complaints
-
The window part can also spawn on the table in the fire tunnel, opposite the one you put the gramophone on
-
When putting maxis in the drone ric swears to "put things right" eitch to me means give him a human body, possibly a younger one, explaining how he lives until ww2 in der riese. But hopefully there is a clear explanation at some point in the map
-
one person can get the napalm strike by there self, you can cleanse them and got the strike solo
-
np, I thought the pic would make it clear enough
-
I'd prefer not to make premature judgements on the Side Mission, thank you very much. pardon, what premature judgements did I make? It is clear that the staff has to be put in there, it disappears after you put in the staff and sam gives a quote
-
Awesome job guys, searched for ages and couldn't find any pieces after I found one
-
Quality isn't the best quality but this is the pic I could get I haven't found any other though :(
-
MMX, that staff pedestal is used to put the fire staff in it later in the EE
-
I agree. Now, if someone could use high-res captures of every loading screen since WaW and turn them into a virtual or physical comic book... That would be awesome, but I thought the comic wasn't finished yet something about staples half way?
