That dosnt make sense to me, the thing i loved about WaW was how balanced the game was. (Yes the mp40 was over powered but I did just as good if not better with the thompson) Treyarch said they liked some of the ideas MW2 had but i dont see why they would copy so much. =S Firestarfish

Hey guys, So I was just looking through the old transmission articles and saw freedom = 7 in transmission 3. I remember that there was the site for freedom 7 that had nothing but a welcome page and went to see if anything had changed. When i looked at the picture on the site it reminded me of the rocket taking off in the multiplayer trailer. Heres's the trailer Pause at 0:18 The structure looks pretty similar to me. Could Cape Canaveral be a multiplayer map? Sorry if this has been said already. FireStarFish

JD_2020 hints at Multiplayer Beta for Black Ops
FireStarFish80 replied to xStopDropNKillx's topic in Black Ops
When and if there is a beta Treyarch will have formal announcement, until then everything else is fake. Unless of course your playing at Treyarch HQ. -
Your in a tough spot Carbon, and I get both sides. With that said I think it would be best to release all the documents after you have released your write ups. We are a community carbon, and I see how people get mad because by slowly releasing them, even though you are just trying to keep us interested before the 28, it seems as though your slightly better then them by being a "ringmaster". We've worked on this whole GKNOVA project as a team, working together for a common goal, someone finds something about a transmission they tell the whole community, all at once. This briefcase is still apart of the GKNOVA project and with holding information would kinda of be going against everything we've done thus far. Put your self in their shoes before you make the decision. Also I have a feeling that if you do spread it out after releasing the first 2 or 3 people wont to wait for the next one, they're going to want the next document even more than some people want all of them right now, and it could get very messy. We're always waiting for information on the game and knowing its there but not being able to see is just going to make people mad. I'm not calling you out or saying your an ass or anything like that, your a great community leader, and it is ultimately your choice, but just know that people are going to get mad. Im excited to read your recap of the event and hope you had a good time -FireStarFish80

Treyarch has a huge chance to change the whole COD series with Black Ops. Lots of people didnt like WAW because it went back to WWII, but personally I feel WAW was the best COD yet. MW2 has become the game that everyone loves to hate for many reasons: -Killstreak rewards has turn most of the players in to campers because everyone wants to get the AC130, Copper gunner, Nuke or whatever it may be. -This new all camping style has caused a giant drop in players actually going for the objective of the mode because it doesn't due them any good. The match bonuses are minute compared to the XP from kills. -FInally kill streaks being carried over in rounds has totally change all game modes with rounds, most notable SnD. In WAW most rounds in SnD went to the finally seconds and lots end with a thrilling final man stand with the bomb being defused. This dose not happen in MW2 because most people are worried about their killstreaks. Why get 100 points for planting/defusing the bomb when i can camp for 3 rounds till I get a harrier and get 400 points? For Black Ops Multiplayer to be as good as everyone wants it to be Treyarch has to make some hard decisions. Do they bring back the killstreak system from WAW or try and make the MW2 killstreak system work? Personally I feel the best thing Treyarch can do in this situation is ether go back to the WAW system or try something new. What if they weren't killstreaks but rather kill rewards or something to that affect. What if instead of getting a UAV after three straight kills without a death, you got a UAV after getting a total of 5 kills? Of course Treyarch would have to figure out how they would make this work for all game modes, but in the end I feel it would be for the best game. This would stop people from worrying about their killstreaks and go for the objectives of that game mode, it would basically make camping ineffective for getting killstreaks. To go with this they must make winning a game with an objective worth while, whether its the amount of XP you get for winning or something else they must do this to make objective games work how they are suppose to. If Treyarch can find a way to make this work I think Black Ops multiplayer will be the best multiplayer fps for a while to come.

Cant see the national security memos you mentioned Goblue. Also I dont think Azure is in on it. That transmission didn't look like it took a large amount of effort to make. Azure also posted that nearly 6 hours after we had all that figured out, chances are he just put everything we had together hoping to get a response. Also a quick google of Azurewolf777 shows that user name registered on sites such as gamespot and movietome.

That's just a transcript of the JFK Movie. Wonder why part of the post in the link is bolded?

TEAC mean anything to anyone here?

I again will say that we should remember that no where in the clue did it say 5/5/1961. 5+5=10, and freedom=7, does not necessarily mean may 5, 2010, or may 5, 1961. The dragonsbreath usenet clue said the ELEMENTS were in the sounds and WORDS, Plutonium and Uranium were in the sounds, what ELEMENTS are in the words? I don't think we are anywhere near to finished on this clue, and at the same time, I don't think very many people care anymore. Buzz is pretty much dead on the innerweb over this now. The Mercury spacecraft named freedom 7 was launched on May 5 1961 or 5/5/1961. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercury-Redstone_3) As for the elements were in sounds and words I will agree that we may not have found it all, but I feel the group poster on google wouldn't have responded unless the information was all correct.

at 10:00 o'clock? Wait until when ever the next transmission comes out, or the reveal on GTTV on Friday night.
-
I think you guys are over thinking this. Personally I feel we have nothing left to find on this transmission. The information stated (Plutonium,Uranium,Tabun,Sarin,Soman,5/5/2010,5/5/1961) is everything we already found. Dragonsbreath is most likely just a codename because they aren't going to put "-Treyarch". Personally I feel I we can do now is wait.

Awesome Job Guys!

That sentences that you found are just the decipher part two of the kryptos. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kryptos)
-
I've listen to the transmission a 100 times by now and reread all the info countless times, and still have no idea on what cipher to use to decode the numbers. I knew the transmissions were going to get harder but damn treyarch, bravo.
-
When was the last time infinity ward put this much effort into something that wasn't directly a game, this has treyarch written all over it.
-
Dosnt sound like Gaz to me, and yeah thats weird.

Let the deciphering BEGIN! That first line is a line for part two of the kryptos in Langley (They used the earths magentic field X the information was gathered and transmitted.) http://74.125.95.132/search?q=cache:3YN ... clnk&gl=ca The Second line is a quote from two time nobel prize winner Marie Curie (Wiki page on her, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marie_Curie) Lastly, Outside of consciousness there lies the cold and alien world of actual things, is a quote by Heinrich Hertz (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heinrich_Hertz) Hertz and Curie were both physicists. Hertz worked mostly on electromagnetic waves and Curie worked on radioactivity.

Dont know if anyone else saw this on JD 2020's twitter. Personally I think it helps cement the fact that this is all about COD for anyone who is still unsure, why else would post that question with all the rumors going around.
