"There are few instances wherein the Casimir effect can give rise to repulsive forces between uncharged objects. In a seminal paper, Evgeny Lifshitz showed (theoretically) that in certain circumstances (most commonly involving liquids), repulsive forces can arise.[24] This has sparked interest in applications of the Casimir effect toward the development of levitating devices."

Do you know the differance between the A4/V2 German rocket and the Russian Suyuz rockets? This is an A4 V2 That is an Soyuz rocket Have you played campaing through yet? Have you played Discovery yet? Unlock the mysteries of this abandoned WW2 German research station in Antartica.

Dempsey looks about 25 Takeo looks almost the same as his portrait in Kino. Nicolai looks somewhat like Steiner and looks the oldest out of the four. The chap in the David Bowie jumpsuit looks nothing like ER. Regardless of wether or not it is ER in a jumpsuit in the video. All in all brilliant artwork for MP1, but I have no idea where this is all going and this poster just adds to the confusmant Bring on the 1st of Feb.

This is a really good theory, some of (most of) it confuses me. I like how you used the idea of independant pictures building up a film, I sometimes think that when we think we are in someway capable of time travel, thoughts of the past, presant and future. I am a bit (a lot) confused about the idea of paradoxs and especially the 6th dimension you mentioned, could you explain it a bit slower and louder for me Great post though, I feel a bit silly for not understanding; this post raises more questions than it answers I just gave brains, so I hope other users have some to give you. Tanks for sharing.

Once again thanks for your efforts, bookmarked to enjoy tomorrow :D

Thankyou CJ much appreciated. I used the link and will be searching for new ringtones sometime soon, I wanted to use Resnov shouting "scewer the winged beast" for a text alert I presume you did some reasearch to find that link in the first place, if you have a link handy where someone has explained why a header is needed and the process they have used for extraction could you post it for me. Sorry if it seems I am to lazy to search, I just would not know what paremeters to define; and I have a feeling you might have allready found a thread that detailed the process prior to finding the "droplet", Thanks again.

I would rather the Arisaka in the starting room than the Olympia. I would love the PPSH to come back also, one of my favourite weapons on DR.

Thanks for taking the time CJ, I truly did not realise how much work had gone into Nixons phrases; I really dont play this game enough anymore. If I could ask a few questions of you? How were you able to access the .wav files? I was under the immpression that all the files were encoded by some method. I did read a tweet sent to Vahn that mentioned a header had to be inserted, this was beyond my understanding and sounded complicated and time consuming. If you are able to explain I will gladly listen Some of the sound files for DR, SNN and Asylum were possibly encoded using the same method as I believed had been used on BO .wav files, would it be possible to use what ever method you have used to play the .wav files from BO on the encrypted .wav files from W@W? Some of the files I am interested in hearing are from DR, they are the ones which will not play with QT or WMP and are probably related to EEs. Such as bridge hit.wav. or the perk cola sting. wav files and quite a few more. Thanks for your time. :)

Vitruvian Man is still there for me. xxyx

The man does raise a good point. Though if you take into account the map size and the traffic movement bad spawns will happen on occasion. Now if one team had hunkered down and choked of all entry roots (3) into the rear of the map and held that area, bad spawns would not have been a problem. Maybe you should play on a team, if that was a team...have a word with them. Anyways my bad spawn vid beats yours nywJFI1dOeY Think I will stick with sentry guns from now on.

Funny that, two Edwards...as if one was not enough of a problem, who would have thought.

Investigating the CODED MESSAGES in THE NUMBERS!
WhosOnFirst replied to Anti Earth's topic in Black Ops
There is a section in AE first post that explains the decoding method reported by others. I dont think the terminal will help in this case. -
I believe the society you might be referring to is the Vril. Though research will show you that this society was founded around a popular book at that time. I chose to mention Anti Gravity as you seem to have confused a few concepts, and your terminoligy is contradictive. I posted for your benefit not mine, but if you would choose to be dismissive, eg/.... i stated we would be pulled along the fields by the earths gravity and i state the repulsive effects of the magnetic field and thats just one sentance. I am only a simple man so please forgive me if I do not quite understand you. Please could you either resize your pics or reformat your posts.

Yes but I just tried to do what he did and not only was I successful at quick scoping, I've been quick scoped by others who know that it's back. Don't post two times in a row. So your point is quick scoping is back? Cracking, for those who can do it. I say they need the ability to cover their ass if they choose a sniper class. Like I said earlier not to many maps that give the sniper the chance to act as intended, long range support. Your not above P&Qs are you Commander, doG had good reason to make his reply in two seperate posts. Please extend the courtesy to others that you would expect yourself.
-
Your overcomplicating it, think of it more as a repulsion engine than a propulsion engine. A hovercraft in no way represents the theory that is being suggested for AG flight. The way to think about this problem is to forget the term ANTI gravity, it is gravity itself that is the driving force. We would not aim to overcome gravity but to harness it. Surfs up dude Please reformat your pictures or post so as to make this topic readable.

Topic title suggests you are not actually looking for discussion on this topic, I am not sure of the point you are trying to make if any? Snipers still have the odds stacked against them, use a suppressor and get anything but a headshot at distance and you will most likely get a headful of AK back at you from across the map. Very few of the maps are set up to allow long range sniping with wide arcs of fire. AOF is allways limited. This game plays to the smg and assault class rifles, so if some guy can get some good sniping footage to upload to Ytube, good on him I say, he is a far better player than I will ever be.

The whole point of the theory IS to extend the magnetic field to the craft hull, allowing the ship to surf a gravity wave. It might not require as much energy as you would think, just a differant outlook on what we think we know. A flying capacitor. If you were to believe the report of UFO veichles then this source of propulsion would go aways to explain the erratic nature of the reported flight patterns. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biefeld%E2 ... own_effect

It is only in recent years that digital sensors have constantly out performend film for resolution and quality. Some proffessional togs still choose to use film for a number of reasons. With regards old photos it really just depends on the film, camera/ film format and the optical quality of the lens being used. The rest is down to the photographer and the light availible. Here is a link to some colour WW2 photos. http://www.ww2incolor.com/gallery/ww2incolor eg..

What's so weird about color? They had color technology back then. It worked very well and was getting around the country at that point. Yup, colour or color film has been around far longer than most realise. Still I watched IGN on XBL yesterday and Jessica Chobot when telling people how to get the Thundergun in Numbers had to explain what an audio cassete was... Semi interesting fact, digital cameras only see in black and white /light and dark. They then use algorythms to convert to colour/color, I keep meaning to look up if this is how the human eye works. Anyways here is the portrait weehammy was refering to. Commander, you wouldnt happen to know where the location featured bottom right is would you? Or anyone else?

I think the characters in Five are funny, but that's because I'm a history buff. McNamara only has a few funny lines. I might have come across as overly negative there. I do agree they have injected a fair bit of humour and knowing winks into the character lines. How can I put this, I feel that while Trey have stereotyped the character's they have not played that out to the full with the potentiol for character development in terms of lines and humour. I know, I know, its only a game...but I guess I am just greedy, allways want that little bit more. Still I guess they had to save something for DLC right? :D -
Let me put this as simply as I can, as there seems to be confusion arising on this topic. What is refered to as the Maverick code, is the alphanumerical conversion of designates found on the loading screen for all campaing mission. Whiskey- Zulu and the like. These translate to Designate words: xREZNOVdxISDxEAD Transmission numbers: OR IS HE DEAD THERE WAS WHO NOBODY IS WHO NOT HE SAYS HE His video can be watched here, if you have not seen it yet. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PLZlfHGo ... r_embedded The Ascension and Echelon codes can be found in the terminal and as updated objectives when playing campaing. They are not straight forward alphanumerical codes. They are one time pads, they can only be deciphered using the pad. The pad can be found using the pages of this book shown when Black Ops loads for the first time and possibly when campaing ends. eg. This link and the link for unfiction both provide a good explanation of the hows and why. Though a few things are unclear at the moment, I dont believe all the codes have been deciphered or they may have been but people have not posted their findings in full. http://uk.gamespot.com/xbox360/action/c ... pid=960189 http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/view ... hp?t=30712 Reading both the links above should provide a good understanding of how the Ascension and Echelon codes work.

I get bad lag all the time, though this can be put down to my internet connection. However I and many others experience lag when all players in the lobby have 4bars, not what you would expect. Issues seem to be compounded when in a lobby with users who are split screen and have a 2bar, having a 2bar in this game seems to give a player the advantage? Just observations of mine, they are not scientifical or anything :D
-
Started looking into this myself, though information is scarce and incomplete; it is out there. http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/view ... hp?t=30712 The link above provides a solution, but the topic is incomplete and there is possibly more than one ascension code. I guess you have to have read the book to have known what it was, as there was not enough of the cover in the vid to identify the book. Perhaps a new topic for CoDz members to decipher all the Echelon and Ascension codes is in order. I will edit this post after with caps of terminal Echelon and Ascension codes, I believe these are seperate to those found in campaing.

I believe Josh,s role as community manager is broader and more encompassing than you would give him credit for. So you think Josh looks pretty huh? He does have a certain allure about him :D
