appreciate you guys answering, interesting that only 10% of people who answered actively like Killstreaks. Even more interesting is that somehow the poll currently adds up to 102% :)

I reckon the opposite, set 2 or 3 volunteers with real time and motivation (alphasnake?) on him to do some proper research and ask some serious questions and let the rest of people focus on other things and chill out like you say. If there is something to it then the guys research can confirm and can get everyone involved (and take serious credit), if not then they are doing everyone a massive favour as I am sure everyone will appreciate! I only get half an hour or so a day to look on here so it's so frustrating to see 10 threads with various info and clips (several repeated on different threads) and not have time to look into it all. Some/all of it is bollox and a complete waste of my time and some is true, how do I know. Gah!!!

Can we afford to write it off yet? We've proved that it could be done by a non-industry professional but that doesn't mean anything. It smells a bit funny but that doesn't mean anything, (GKNOVA6 did too at times). I think it is a hoax but until we can prove it is or isn't I think we need to still investigate. We could do with creating a few What We Know teams, 1 for Henry Langham, 1 for Carbons documents and one for new posts and new information. Use some of the vets from before and create hit teams to try and verify new info and call out hoaxers. I'm not volunteering, I don't have the time to do it justice, I just think this is the only way. Final point, we need to the admins to come down hard on hoaxes. Normally I would say give em a chance but people are spending a lot of time, effort and probably money to investigate these things. The first couple I could understand but people are taking advantage of the obsession we are developing on this forum. People on the wind up should be called out, shot down and barred. Have their IP address blocked. No questions asked now, if we can prove it's a hoax, you're barred. *rant over*

am I being a tard (probably) but I make it XbOx360PreDaToR? MODs can we give them a special temporary user group for being the 1,000 member (whichever it is)? Maybe till we get our 5,000 or 10,000 or 100,000 or something. Has anyone PM'd them? they probably don't even know. I'd like to see a brief acceptance speech and everything :)

Great post Demon, my thoughts exactly. Not to say that we aren't big fans of free speech, no way! If you disagree with someone then say so, but do it in a sensible manner, think about their perspective and why have they said what they did. If they are still being a ftard then tell them you disagree, report their post, negatively rate but don't flood the forums with flamewars, it's boring, it's unproductive and unless you are extremely funny it makes you look as much of an idiot as them.

I normally have a mixture so 2 guns that I am working on getting the attachments for or getting the emblems for, usually with stopping power and whatever I need. I think have two go-to classes which are normally the UMP45 sprint stab class (ump, dual shotguns, marathon, lightweight, commando), for if I am getting pwned by the same, then my favourite gun of the time which at the moment is probably the scar-H with a silencer, stopping power etc. Finally you unless you are playing barebones you HAVE to have an anti-killstreak class, something with cold blooded and launchers. I normally have the scar with noobtube, stinger, frag, scavenger (so you can keep taking out harriers and helicopters), cold blooded, ninja. You can also use it as your anti-noobtube class.

Dome for the private match mayhem that was and still occasionally is, Stabsies. ahhh funzies.

so what about if it was a subsription service of say $5 per month but over the 12 months you got 3 or 4 free map packs? Is that better or worse than you get now? Over a short period it's the same I guess it's only when you get into the second year that it costs you more and you know what? People don't generally play games for more than a year with a few (*cough*zombies*cough*) exceptions. Not that that is what I want, I'm just saying that it's not a huge step in cost from where we are if you have bought all the map packs. And it forces everyone on MP to pay the extra, not just those who choose the map packs.

how have you guys played these things? How have people accessed them? I've seen the video of GTW but I assumed it was fake, a mod or something. Is there a way that everyone can play these?

Lol, maybe that's why I enjoyed it! Seriously I found that people tend to work together more because they are not worried about camping out for 1 more kill for a harrier and so on. Much better teamwork. Did see a lot more noobs tho.

Just interested, I only discovered this the other night whilst I was bumming around and bored and I discovered I really like it, no killstreaks whatsoever means no C4K (camping for killstreaks), and I think it improves the game loads. Let me know your thoughts, have you tried it and do you like it? 8-)

Campaign, definitely. I would be most happy if the zombie mode is unlocked after completing campaign, I thought that was brilliant as it meant that all the fools who only go online missed out initially. Ideally I would like the first part to be unlocked by completing campaign and then second and third stages unlocked either by completing campaign on veteran or by reaching a certain point in the first level. that would be cool.

Maybe they were design pics and ideas for the unreleased and only speculated about 4th Map pack which never came out because of MW2?

is it defo out today? I thought it was yesterday but I kept checking and couldn't get it. I'n getting it, it's not that much and might breath some fresh air into what is a bit of a stale game for me at the mo, come on BO hurry up!!!!!! EDIT- it's out, I got it and played a bit, only on a couple but it was ok, need more time for full opinion
