#backinblack Teaser Trailer
Cpt Rutger replied to LiamFTWinter's topic in BOIII News & Announcements
Wow, that was disappointingly easy. Does 514 mean anything to us? just noticed I was supposed to say 5 10 4 my bad Well, in fact it is the number 54. That's how their numeric system works. And if you wondered what that Chinese number 54 in the Black Ops 3 Teaser trailer could mean : No death ? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Numbers_in_Chinese_culture#Five_2 -

Well, i found some cuneiform that looks like those symbols, made a video about it. https://t.co/eDyP1BjWab Also, anyone remembers the BO2 Zombies Origins Easter Egg, where you had to put those cuneiform in line? They looked different, but this proofs that Treyarch used kind of this cuneiform before. -
Nice...but: Why didn't you just hop on one of the threads already here in the Forums? Most of your speculations are already there :-)

Nope...don't think so. Who should have put a teleporter there and how ? It's more a chance that they tried to use zombified animals as test subjects for their space program..and as usual, something went wrong and the shit hit the fan with those monkeys. So, maybe it's some kind of space center where the next level will bring us to. OK...in fact the soviets never used monkeys of any kind for their tests of rockets. But the cosmic silverback in Dead Ops wears a Cosmonaut suit. And i think that little monkey on GKNOVA wears something similar to this. Don't know what to make out of this.
-
Right. It's not in the louvre. It's in the Galleria dell' Accademia, Venice . But not on display.
-
Could a mod please merge all the new GKNOVA postings...please ?

Ok...here we go. The Americans used monkeys for testflights since they begun testing the V2 rockets. And we all know where those came from, don't we. Later on they started using those monkeys for the testflights of their space rockets (f.e. Jupiter) because of their similar anatomical make-up to man and they are also very sensitive to changes in temperature. The Russians never used monkeys for any tests. http://news.bbc.co.uk/onthisday/hi/dates/stories/december/13/newsid_3240000/3240133.stm That picture is like the Vitruvian Man from DaVinci with a monkey instead. In a space suit. The original one from DaVinci was also used by the Nasa many times...for ex. patches for Spacesuits / Jumpsuits. But this monkey-one has two circles instead of a circle and a square (it's something to do with geometry and math stuff... read here : http://arthistory.about.com/library/weekly/bl_leo_vitruvian_man.htm ) . So, Roman architect Vitruvius is connected to DaVinci. But he is also to the Moon, Vitruvius is a small lunar impact crater that lies on the northern edge of the Mare Tranquillitatis http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vitruvius_%28crater%29 . Funny thing with the moon, on this pretty weird page they try do connect all together...the painting, moon and the great pyramid (which is somehow connected to the Illuminati) http://newilluminati.blog-city.com/sacred_geometry_the_architecture_of_the_universe.htm That's what i found so far.... EDIT: Some more stuff about the Monkeynauts with videos on this fine site : http://www.motherboard.tv/2010/7/29/monkey-nauts-five-great-space-apes

Maybe they parted the map into quadrants. Would be great in TDM when you can tell your team mates "sniper in B4" and everyone knows what place you are talking about. More specific like "one on the roof near by the bridge" or something like this...
-
I think that's why they called this map "LAUNCH" ;-) But yes... looks nice...but if you ever saw a real launch...it is to close to the map you play in...everything would be burned in that vicinity.

So...that's it ? Looks good...but like a copied MW2. Why oh why those killstreaks ? I want my standard 3,5,7 back. And no flying Body-parts ???? Even if you are hit by a missile ??? That was what i liked about WaW. You get hit and YEAH! Legs are sold separately.... That little buggy-thing looks like a beacon to me...you fire a missile and and it tracks the buggy. When it makes contact the missile blows up (that's how it looks like in the video)... but a powerfull killstreak like that with only 3 kills ? Come on...you must be kidding me... what do you get with 1 kill ? A recon plane ? In one scene the player is hit by Air support, the screen flashes red... and thats it ? No blurry sights ? No red in the eye ? Hmmm.... And it looks like all those rewards will be back (signs and emblems). Who needs this ? Not me... But the option to record your gameplay is something great. Hope it does not consume to much HDD space. I also hope it will be possible to publish those videos somewhere. Overall: It looks nice...but too much MW2 feeling for me and not much of a revolutionary multi-player experience so far....

Both is correct. U-Boot or (in english) U-Boat.

That is just some educational material handed out by the Nova television show on PBS. It's just an example to show student how a cipher works. That's all.
-
Since i saw the video about those new maps i fear "Trailer Park" will be a paradise for Nuke Boosters in FFA. Can't they just forbid party chat in FFA, that would do the trick. No secret chats, no way to meet.

Still wondering what doc 1 + 2 are good for. Why should they add two complete black sheets of paper instead of just adding nothing ? Is there any pattern with those white dots on the black ? Tried to look at them with a magnifier ? whe i zoom in on the picture, some look like letters...but at a point it gets to blurry. Maybe it's just my imagination.
