Yeah, it definitely doesn't make any sense to make CT online only. I'd like to know why they're doing this. It's not like the bots need to connect to you because they're on a different system, they're on your system. Even if it's something like taking info from training matches to update the bots to be more human-like, it shouldn't force it to be online only. Or maybe it has something to do with Theater Mode? Who knows. If there's a solid reason, maybe I'd be okay with it. Thankfully, I have a strong internet connection.

I highly doubt they'll have zombies in single player. I think they might reference it, but I doubt they will actually have you go up against them. I couldn't care less about another single player trailer. I want to see co op gosh darn it. Not seeing any before now screwed me out of getting a hardened edition. Now I just hope that when I play co op there's no real update to the old maps so I don't get even more mad for waiting all that time for nothing.

my theory is that they realized what they were doing in der riese they wanted to save for the black ops zombies. So they had to cut the section out of it. Why they didn't just remove the fly trap completely, IDK. Maybe for trophy purposes.

The song that was heard from calling the number on the GAMESTOP poster, is now on GAMESTOP's black ops missions site. 5 goes where the question mark is on the bottom right to hear it. This must have some meaning, but what? as for a link to GK, i can't seem to put the two together.

It looks more like a long map than a square one like the rest have been. I can't make out what the writing says underneath. it'd be nice if someone could.

I guess I should have said a little more when I mentioned it. I didn't think you'd actually do it Is it possible to make checkboxes for the options instead of a dropdown list? then people can check all that apply and it will list them. I know there's not much of a point now since you have most of the possible combinations, but once new consoles come out, you don't want to be adding them to every daRn option that you have listed. Again, IDK if it's possible, but it would be a nice future help for you if you can do it that way. Edit: ohhh, just main zombies console. I guess there's no need for a great deal of options then. Even when new consoles come out, people will only be selecting the newest then. Hopefully there are more zombies BEYOND black ops that are going to be on the PS4 and xbox720!

Yeah I agree, I don't like the idea of being trapped in the muck of cheap players and/or having no fun in a match just for the fear of getting banned. I think that's a little silly. For PS3 users though, it's not so bad since we can just make a secondary free account to play with if the banhammer comes down. If anyone finds out that co op will have online split screen, let me know asap. I already have the WaW maps, but split screen online co op would be worth getting them again.

For now I assume it's only two people, but I'm hoping for 4. # of MP maps in Black Ops is 14 and we've currently seen 4 of them. Apparently the number of maps was released at the MP reveal earlier this month. New to me: Classified guns in each class. And the only way to get them is to unlock all the other guns in a class. Sweetness. Now all I need to know is what co op is going to be like and I'll know enough to pre order the proper version.

I remember the big reveal on the original zombies, thinking "sweeeet, looks epic!" they made it seem better than it truly was, but it's still good. I like the description quote they have: "if you love the smell of achievements in the morning, be sure to tune in for next episode's Black Ops coverage" Makes me think they're going to show of the list of achievements/trophies for Black Ops. And that definitely excites me since I read that someone looked at the achievements list during the MP reveal on Sept. 1st and there were 2 related to zombies.

wow you completely misunderstood what I said. I didn't say I don't know what a bookie is mr. wiseass. It's just that if there were a ton of gamblers, there could be a level where there's a group of bookies you have to take out. I agree that it's highly unlikely though. And the number of credits has nothing to do with playability, it's that if you wanna find out what they sound like you have a better shot. I brought up Special Agent Weaver as likely being playable because the original two special agents listed are confirmed as playable. 4 different special agents, likely 4 playable characters. unless there are 2 Special Agent Harrises. Gary Oldman was never listed on the IMDB page.

But he's thinking the specific similarities between them are fishy. I wouldn't be surprised if Treyarch outsourced this ARG to possibly the same people Tron outsourced theirs to. If either of them even outsourced their games. But it makes perfect sense.

Gk was NOT contracted by the US. They were clearly working for the Germans. Says so in the e-mail and in one of the newspaper articles in ur zipped gknova6 drop file. It also seems the original Gk is defunct. One group is looking into Gk's work and there's a subgroup that seems to dissent what the main group is doing.

yeah theres a bunch of teddy bears in MW2. on top of a roof in highrise. in a conrete aclove outside the cave in Afghan, along with a what looks like a star shaped hole in the concrete. theres a star on every teddy bear. And in the Spec Ops mission estate takedown in a bathroom in the mansion at the top of the stairs there was a throwing knife sticking a teddy bear to the wall. Something else funny: in another room in the upstairs theres a bathrub with an inflatible woman doll. she's also got stars covering her. And in Nazi Zombies there's writing that says "Teddy is a Liar" I think it's in Der Riese. There might be one in Verrukt too.

DAN: I didn't know you were simply stretching it until the 28th. That's no big deal. I was thinking over the whole summer. Once a day something new would be nice actually. Alternate Reality Games are ones where you can interact with the people in the game, the ones whose reality is the game. They tend to include real places and real things. Most of the time they are mysteries and are involved worldwide. Which takes me to my next thought... JD_2020 mentioned he was heading to London. The 2nd crossed off name on the hit list is of a guy who lived in London. I have a feeling there's a big connection there. It would be interesting if you had to communicate with someone over there.

Carbonfibah, you are wrong. This game has been a cooperative effort since receiving the original USB drive. Refusing to release the information at once is anti-cooperative and contradicts the entire point of the game. Also, gradually releasing information is the job of the PM, and not you. To hesitate to release the information is a thinly-veiled attempt at putting yourself in a position of greater authority and power. Furthermore, while also implying that you think you're somehow better than us, masking this intention with such a poor excuse as "if I lay this all on u at once ur heads will explode after you pee yourself" is extremely insulting to the community that has solved this game with you. The community has a right to see the contents of the drop without further deliberate delay. I agree, but it won't let me 'thumbs up' your post. The assumption that we couldn't handle it is a lie, it's definitely not based on fact. I'd appreciate the truth for why Carbon doesn't want us to see everything at once.
