Anyone from the UK, the Playstation Magazine UK is going to reveal Black Ops today also. after researching latest news, cvg says "New weapons include the Crossbow, which can be used for both stealthy kills and an explosive tip secondary fire shot, the M202 rocket launcher and an incendiary shotgun" At first I thought the dragonsbreath was not really a clue, but sounds like it was refering to the shotgun rounds.

Every time you click the transmission buttons it restarts the audio and they all play at once. You probably ended up overloading your computer trying to play like 20 files at once.

My first reaction was that these were some kind of bloody clothes or cloth. Didn't really see hands until someone else pointed them out. I do think they look like hands and they seem very pale and "not normal" but I am not one of the guys to immediately claim I figured everything out and these are zombies.

I just noticed that the website shows "00:00:00" at the bottom of the screen and the swf image that has been going around has "01234" (3 is backwards) So I think that number at the bottom will change and we will get more clues or something else. When I saw Transmission 6 was Up, I was hoping to: a) - help out with the solve if it hasn't been deciphered or - it was already solved and this whole arg finally made some sense Instead I am still confused and my patience is running out

I have been trying to just type stuff on gknova6 after login (at the zoomed out view) and it seems liek sometimes when I type something and hit enter the screen will go black and fade back in. Has anyone else seen this? Edit: Also if I am on channel 1 and start typing and hit enter it gets dark, then swtichs to the 6th transmission

The rar password was dragonladyninethreethreezeroeight The bottom right part of the file was a jpeg encoded into a text document which was part of the second rapidshare download. (from classified ad) My guess is the letter is to Hitler, from Himmler maybe. just a shot in the dark

At the top: GK 0984242 SR (a) = 2010032 DR ( = 0510032 SR © = 2010022 TR (d) = 1915032 IR (e) = 0002036 I just wanted to filling the rest of the numbers and add in the type of report. Still thinking about what these could mean.

Top of page ten is how the letters were decrypted, it led to a classified ad, that ad led to a new rapidshare file with a piece of the fragmented document. Still no pdf code

Nice find, I tried a bunch of different combos of (spy plane, lockheed, u2, dragon lady) for the pdf password but nothing so far.

nice work on the dragonlady thing, I would have never used freedoma anyway it looks like now we have a nice group of 7 digit numbers in this document: At the top: 0984242 a = 2010032 b = 0510032 c = 2010022 d = 1915032 I think this might be the next thing to decipher (what are these numbers?)

551961 IMO is just the file extension for the RAR file. Also grasping. Yea I'm putting the numbers to the side for now and just taking it for what it is. 551961 is the name of the pdf file and it references may 5, 1961 (like a lot of clues have done over the past 3 transmissions) I don't think you have to "use" that number for anything. I have tried the typical freedom, mercury redstone, shepard, stuff in the cipher tools and haven't gotten anything yet. edit: I need to take a break and play some world at war, maybe I'll wander around der riese and see if anything stands out. (maybe ask a crawler if they remember being brainwashed by the gum-mint)

I just have a couple questions to see what you guys think. Do you think its the keyed caesar or just the shift? Should we use the caesar or the vigenere first?

I agree about the merchandise thing, I don't think he would give us the passkey out right for teh cipher either. (tho it would be nice to throw us a bone here)

I was the guy that thought it looked like a safe dial and I tried a lot of different things with the numbers we have been throwing around. (turning dial, changing channels) But I never got anywhere with it. I thought there might have been a way to "open" another part of the site, but then we got these google groups posts and thought this was more likely the direction to go in. I also noticed the caps in Giovan's posts (why is Meow capitalized?) and caps have been important to recent codes (MASON & TREYARCH) Just pulling out all the caps from what Giovan posted today you get: I T C M I N M E R C H A N D I S E have no idea where to go from there. One more thing I posted that I am still looking into is the importance of "If this is not intended for you, stay out of this!" If you pull the first letters out of that you get: i t i n i f y s o o t (I am trying to see if any anagrams seem to make sense) you can get some interesting combos (incomplete right now) from this like NOTIFY, ION, INFO

damnit papa mud, I just spent like 10 minutes putting together a recap. Anyway, what it sounds like to me is X O 's file is the one we got in the temporal frequency analysis. It was all jumbled up and half of it was missing from the transmission. He doesn't seem happy with this. Giovan doesn't want his files to get messed up, so he "ups the ante" (uses a different method of encryption, safety measures) for his file (551961.pdf) and I am stumped by his code.

I check Meow's profile and I think he/she is just a random poster that stumbled apon the game and had no idea what the post was talking about, and thought that novasix was just being really random. Nice catch tho, I forgot about that one.

I was on that last night when this transmissino first came out. I don't know what they are teaching those kids at Oregon State, but that tool seems broken to me, or at least, in our case, not very helpful.

How do you use that? It's a Vigenere Cipher, a key phrase is picked and its hard to explain but much easier to see how it works in the tables he made.
