I wonder if Bungie Gave Treyarch Permission to obsesse over the number 7. . . The number 7 has been associated with a lot of things about Black Ops and the GKNova6 Conspiracies. And Black Ops just happens to be the Seventh(Main) Call of Duty Title. . .

[brains] [brains] Quoted for Truth!

This is exactly why I hate people. modern warfare 2 may have had the opportunity to be a good game if people didn't have the psychological need to cheat everything. Its sad really. Hopefully the team Treyarch Hired to prevent this sort of thing can actually make a difference, otherwise Black Ops will end up the same as modern warfare.

Indeed, You meet Reznov in the Cave and then he goes off All Lone-Russian-Wolf like. Totally BA.

LOL! Last I checked: "Lots-of-Copies-Sold" Does not equate to "Awesome-Awesome-cookies" Sure everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and I am merely stating mine here, as is the purpose of this forum. I am in no way attempting to force anyone to accept my opinion. Which is to say that I do not necessarily hate modern suckfest 3000(that ones for you). Its that: The game is just bad, there are a multitude of things in modern warfare 2 that are horribly flawed and broken, and While you may enjoy modern suckfest 3000(that ones for you too) that doesn't mean that its a good game. And You are correct, along with srm-trpr78. There is a fine line between saying modern warfare 2 sucks and blind fanboyism, but that fence has two sides. . . Notice: there was nothing mentioned about any other game here. . .
-
Quoted for Truth!!! Although I'm positive there's more that I could add to the out-list. I don't know what game you've been playing, but there aren't ANY weapons in modern warfare 2 with enough recoil that they take skill to use. A monkey can use every weapon in modern warfare 2 and get some kills. Blindfolded.
-
Correct, sort of. . . It hasn't always had custom classes, but before the first modern warfare, you still chose a basic class(Rifleman, Sniper, etc. . . ) so Technically you did still choose a class, and you used said class until death.
-
Honestly I don't actually hate modern warfare 2. I just wish it was a good game, seriously. But its just. . . Not. Its not a good game. It has a few good things going for it, but not enough. I really hope Treyarch can get out of the Giant Mainstreamed Hole that infinity ward dug for Call of Duty. The last time I played modern warfare 2, you could not invite people to your squad mid game, which means if you had a friend join your session in progress and you wanted them to be on your team for the next game you have back out and re-invite that person to your squad. In World at War you can have a friend join your session in progress and they can join your squad during the game so you're certain you will both be on the same team for the next game. You don't have to back out and start over. I see, so your not talking about modern warfare's built in lag. Literally, the game makes everyone lag a little to try and diminish what little host advantage there was. Honestly I did not think of Zombie lag. It does require a pretty stable connection. I used to lag every once in a while. But I haven't for a very long time. I apologize for the off topic-ness. . . I do play World at War about every night.

You get Kicked on the Xbox As Well. At least in World at War, modern warfare 2 has the retardo hardcore ricochet. I never had a problem with killstreaks getting me kicked in World at War, probably because they weren't ridiculously powerful or controllable. Actually. . . In World at War Killstreaks don't get you Kicked. Even Better, so I'm sure it will be the same situation in Black Ops.
-
Agreed. ^^^ Whats the problem with Hardcore? That is, in fact, A large part of What makes Hardcore mode "Hardcore". Friendly Fire.
-
Not a bad Idea. But then again, Say you have a 28 killstreak in World at War, you can be 99% positive that other than boosting or really really hardcore camping,(neither of which are that common when compared to modern warfare) that 28 killstreak was acquired by skill with relatively little help from killstreaks. Thats because killstreaks ended at 7 kills. In modern warfare 2 on the other hand. Does it really even matter what your killstreak is? Boosting and all other forms of cheating aside, it is extremely easy to get a 30 plus killstreak. Why? because of the Killstreaks. Killstreaks should not be controllable and should stop at 7 period.
-
Thats exactly why its a horrible perk. "Hey! Lets pull this new gun and some equipment out of my ass!" Right. . . Having to combat various situations with the same weapon/class creates a lot more strategy, and makes you a better player. Being able to switch classes is like saying: "Well I can't think of any way to get that guy without dieing with my current class, so I'll just switch my class because I'm not smart enough to create a strategy that can handle the current situation." You choose a class, and you use that class until you die. Thats how Call of Duty has always been, thats the way it should remain.
-
Exactly Willis, Spec Ops had a lot of potential, and was fun. But the fact they just ripped everything from the campaign of both modern warfare games made it not so amazing. Nor groundbreaking in any way. Its basically co-op campaign.
-
LOL! I remember before modern warfare 2 was released, infinity ward said something along the lines of how spec ops was the "perfect" game mode for DLC. . . good one infinity ward.
-
Lol. I LOVE Extreme Conditioning. I absolutely hate marathon though. I also Agree that there should be no "pro" perks. Pro perks essentially give the player 6 perks. Which is horrible. Quoted for Truth.
-
I agree though, the only way there would be an Zombie map in America would be if Group 935 or the Illuminati whom they supposedly work for had infiltrated the United States Government. Or the United States were performing their own expirements. . . Both of which are actually very plausible, but it would still be quite a jump.
-
I understand, it is confusing considering the Building in Nacht der Untoten is in Japan in the campaign, and multiplayer. But, It must be in Germany or Poland for Zombies. The only reason for this is that the Zombies are German Nazi's, and the Trucks in front of the building are German.
-
Nacht Der Untoten Actually took place in Germany. And the Recording(not walkie talkie) says that: Spies have reported a large amount of Element 115 in the American "Nevada Base" and that it might be the next best place to continue expirements. Also to note: It isnt necessarly the German Military performing these expirements. Group 935 is not part of the German Military nor the Government.
-
Well Considering infinity ward didn't have a beta on ANY console for modern suckfest. . .
-
***box? Thats not very nice.
-
No Offense here, but many of these are things that made modern warfare 2 the absolutely horrible game that it is. Sleight of Hand and Stopping Power must be the same tier. That was one of the dumbest things in modern warfare. EVERYONE WILL use stopping power and Sleight of hand if they are seperate tiers. They Absolutely must be the same tier. There is no commando. A perk that you have to activate is essentially equipment. Being able to see through walls would be bad anyway, it would be just like a heartbeat sensor. You'll end up needing 45 different perks to stay hidden from all the dumb equipment and other things that can detect you. Same with the Camera, Its an interesting Idea, but it should be equipment if anything, and would really really encourage camping. There is absolutely no need for two perks that effect your running speed. It would be much better if they go back to only extreme conditioning. Sprinting indefinitely is ridiculous, and one of the worst perks in modern warfare 2.
-
"Watch the Profanity"
-
LOL. I can imagine, it would be just like the rest of the game. Horrible.
-
I don't know what the voice says, but you can also hear creepy whispering on Cliffside, in the bunkers. And on Asylum in like 15 different places. You can also hear a little girl crying on Asylum.
