See the thing is, me/TacInsert/whoever else back the clothing while you/whoever else back the Gersch quote. IMHO at this point it does depend on how you see the Gersch quote. I know I may sound hypocritical but Tank of all people breaks the 4th wall more than anyone. Visible, Obvious clothing seems more apparent to the timeline than a quote that MAY spell out the timeline.

See idk i feel stumped here because it seems like Treyarch decided to not help us and take actual places because if it is a real place, it isnt easy to find. Meanwhile as I'm saying this, Alpha is probably writing a 2 page theory on where SNN is but honestly I think he might feel the same way too. It doesnt give you a lot of hints to where this facility is. One thing I did find is that Unit 731 of Japan did a lot of weapon testing and biological testing but that was in Northeastern China and supposedly they excavated stuff near Tokyo I'm not sure. EDIT: after seeing your post...im still stumped Let's say hypothetically it's 1946 considering Richtofen seems pretty stationed there. There wasn't a meteor landing anywhere at this time so once again it seems confusing. This is honestly why I think that S-L will tie up some loose ends because IMO i believe that it is after SNN although that seems unlikely with the Takeo moustache. There seems to be TOO MUCH missing between SNN and DR.

Well I am trying to find the area so I can see the weather patterns. Ex. If it usually snows in like November-February...SNN most likely takes place in March or later etc. etc.

You are both right actually, the war in Europe ended September 2, 1945 I think, so the Nuremberg Trials hadn't begun yet, so I guess technically it could still be under GER control. But I think maxis was aware the war was over since he was writing to the third Reich he knows a ton. He ended up not telling Richtofen, and didn't mass produce the dg2 cuz the war was over. That is very possible which is kinda ironic. Maxis did not tell Richtofen the war was over and then Richtofen killed him because he withheld the truth hehehehe. My post was simply saying that the events of the radios had to have been October, 1945 or later. Which puts a lot into perspective.

Not sure how you meant "wouldn't" in your post so let me re-word it. Alpha said that by October 1945 Der Riese would've been under Soviet control. The reason why that can't be possible is that in the CotD radios, Richtofen is planning to kill Maxis on October 1st, 1945. That means that the events of the Der Riese RADIOS had to have been AFTER October 1st, 1945.

True Alpha but don't forget Richtofen is still testing at this time due to the CotD radios. Where remains to be seen but people believe it is in Der Riese. I think it was on the ship but that is a different topic. Someone else said to me in one of my threads ( I apologize for not remembering who) that since they were cut off, they may not have even knew that the war was over and/or they still believed they could carry out their duties for the Third Reich. EDIT: actually to further my point is that Maxis is still alive so Der Riese was still in German control at that time.

Richtofen i honestly love you but we had that discussion like 5 posts up from your post but yes good observation. And to everyone also saying there was no teleporter in SNN....Well yes, you are correct, but S-L is in Asia too so traveling there sounds more likely when its in the same continent. (especially if this is before Der Riese *cough* *cough*)

To be completely honest I hate CotD but not more than Five but thats a seperate argument. S-L (new abbreviation Yayyyy) looks really good because to me it looks like all loose ends may be tied up with this map.

just a brief thing....both consoles are equal imo when it comes to exclusives and online price and everything. Back on topic.... I think that this map will answer how they get to Der Riese because I believe that this takes place after SNN. My reasoning is the cleanliness of their clothing.

yes but I find it interesting how even in Kino, Richtofen is beat to sh*t along with takeo and a moustache etc. That does seem to be missing in Shangri-La so maybe this map is tying up all the loose ends. P.S. I believe Verruckt was at sunset i believe but I do remember a sun or maybe the orange glow is fire. Shi No Numa is cloudy but it does seem like it is night time (same with CotD)

See even my favorite director in Radaustins27 is saying that it has to be after Ascension because of Dempseys quote about Gersch. Dempsey especially and Treyarch are FAMOUS for breaking the 4th wall (i think its 4th right?). When we all wanted a new objective, what happened "Hey Treyarch can we have a new objective?" - Dempsey. Nobody liked the end of the egg in Ascension, "I hope this is worthwhile. Stupid Gersch." - Dempsey. And even "is there going to be an easter egg song in every map now." - All four had quotes. It may be a clue but I think that they were just trying to show that they listen to us and break the 4th wall. In my opinion, this is before Ascension and taking a close look at Takeo this might even be immediately after SNN. Looming Eclipse + Asia + possible teleporter in map can lead to adventure to Der Riese. Sorry for the wall of text.

It looks like my theory of the CotD encounter happening BEFORE Ascension. EDIT: boss rounds look like monkeys AND there is gonna be a solar eclipse happening which would make this the 2nd daytime map.

Black Ops was released on November 11th. Are you sure you weren't playing at 11:55? The clocks might be telling the actual time. Correction, Black Ops Came Out November 9th. MW2 Came out on Nov. 11. Just Saying. Definately Possible That the clocks did show the actual time. Or Maybe there was some "documentation" on Vorkuta... MW2 came out on November 10th because of the whole 11-10-09 thing.

It kinda is....Look outside the map and then play U.S.D.D. They are surprisingly exact.

Considering the maps were better in WaW, it might be wise.
