If only, Hopefully 3arc will stick with the 'make what the fans want' but don't fall into IW's unlucky trap of not seeing that the 'fans' they were listening to were 5 year olds who wanted to nerf everything good....

Hey 'jook seeing as it is my Birthday on the 8th March, want to set up an extra playdate? ... There will be cake.

I would just be happy to be an mod (hint hint), as I don't want to run this site (and others are more deserving/compitent) But I am always on, been on since this new site started (give or take a few weeks , originally found the old site but it told me to go here instead [brains] ), when chat was up I was always on, discussing but more importantly helping the mods While anyone will know the contributions I gave pre-and up to GKnova6. In my honest opinion, I thought Covert ran the site with Carbon, yet if you're looking for someone new I suggest Ehjookayted, seems commited and has that drive that I just don't have anymore and most never seem to have....
-
Nacht. First will always be the best [brains] .

Good to see people commiting :D

Apologies as I have been away for a bit, but check GKnova6.com, has that film reel 'diagram' intro been there for a while, and if so for how long?

What makes a person a "Pro"?
Daveyjone replied to yellow-card8's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Q: What makes a noob a noob? A: Becuase they beat someone who is a sore loser. Widely accepted that a Pro is the opposite of a noob. Therefore: A Pro is someone who always loses. -
[brains] [brains] [brains] Now we just need to spread the word! Go on people, post this everywhere (already trying to sneak it onto CoD wiki somehow....)

Evidence hints to it, intel for the last mission says so, old posts on it, proud to say I was the first a far as I know to spot the hints...: viewtopic.php?f=16&t=3903 viewtopic.php?f=16&t=18419

Don't do the obvious characterisation, you know: "I'm the main character who has emotional demons which are surfaced and delt with while the story progresses..." "I'm the rival to the main character who goes against every choice untill the end where I make up with him and we befriend eachother..." "I'm the main character's best friend who dies just before the end, usually sacrificing myself to save him..." "I'm the dude in the background who dies first when he goes to check somewhere in the dark on his own..." And focus more on shock value, resident evil and 28 days later has created a fast running-infected-virus created-this could happen style feel to zombies, go back to the original fear factor, like NDU, dark, moans, slow shamble. Things that make you jump! And the most important rule! Don't make it obvious! Tension building music and scenes should be anti climatic... then the shock happens when you least expect it, midway through a conversation a zombie attacks! P.S. If cloverfield has taught us anything, ot's that you don't need the monster/zombie present to have a scary film, it only turns up in about 5 scenes, the rest of them are in my view the most scary!

The lights are not present in the Black Ops version however. And the meteor is red hot, that is why it is orange, look at this image and as Tac said the energy is purple, while the rock is red.
-
The lights are not present on the black ops version of Der Riese's moon. The general rule in conflicting images/plots/ideas in stories and games is that the most recent takes presidence, it's how all the oldest game series solve any continuity problems, like Halo, Warhammer and Star Wars :P

thank you my good man i know this kind of stuff is not the kind of things people here look into, but i think its neat to bad ppl think i'm a nerd for watching ancient aliens (my uncle especially) My good man, it's all we ever do.. well did... Ever since Black Ops the IQ of this site has, well, dropped. But we also got some amazing new guys among the masses, and what can I say, the stupid ones left, all the great serchers are still here! Oh and you're not alone with the ancient aliens....
-
Hey, they began MW2 and MW3 campaigns with missions before explaining Soap's story.... :D
-
I could see the second map that comes with the game being that.... The first map HAS to explain the aftermath of moon though.... Not always.... A five-esque map totally random... to reintroduce the fact that they're back... then, the second map begins, first thing you hear is Dempsy.
-
We doing this by rounds? Because rounds can be gained by playing with better players or tactics than others :D
-
Well done! As I always say, so don't get annoyed when I do , Treyarch like to use popular and historical culture in their plot lines... Sleeper cell conspiracies, chemical weapons, moon conspiracies, illuminati, Vrill... So the more we look into these things the more chance we get the right one [brains]

Things I have noticed here recently
Daveyjone replied to Chopper's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Nice! Must be the Ps3 ambassador title ^^ Btw it has happened to me as well, that's why I mentioned it, dudes going on about how they knew x before everyone else, after cutting me down for mentioning it Worst one was the whole Ebola thing.. Can't even remember who said that it wasn't to do with zombies and more likely to do with the campaign... (the numbers). Massive flame wars over it resulting in the people who were wrong saying they thought up the numbers idea! [brains] -
perfectlemonade and Blamco177 have summed it up. Usually the mods are away/busy, but Coverts filling in for Dan so I'll message him next time guys :)

Don't try to stop these guys, life is like that, let the one 5 year old who wants to impress his school friends do it, at least you know (and usually Treyarch as well seeing as they like this site will know) that you thought it up. Annother point is that if you have thought of it, someone else probably has, most likely kept it to himself, or you never heard him. Happens all the time. When I was helping at Gk nova I was voicing ideas that turned out to be true (maps set in American/Russian labs/stations referencing their work on Nazi wunderweapons (Five, ascension), maps referencing the space race (Moon, ascension), maps in Germany explaining what happened to 935.. (Kino) and that Treyarch would just draw maps from popular culture (shangri-la, cold war space race moon conspiracies, illuminati references)) yet people ignored/flamed me and when it turned out to be true they claimed they knew all along. Such is life. -
Actually scary zombies maps! Less over the top, more like the classic zombie facilities, outposts at night full of smoke....

Leaked Zombie Map Quarantine/Cave Photp
Daveyjone replied to jimirdavis's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Not enough evidence to contemplate it is even CoD 9. You have to do better man :D -
Problem with that is hosting issues, Wolfy and I can't possibly host every date, that is one reason why we plan them, we need to let the whole site know...
