On the MP server issue, Im crystal.....I understand how it works, I get there are going to be lag issues, but there are other issues besides the severe lag, for instance, some of the data when you are ranking up doesnt get saved, IE i rank up and unlock new weapons, features, etc etc etc, and when i hit create a class, it aint there. This has happened twice already, and reading the call of duty HQ forums, I am not the only one that this is happening to, Also there is no way, other than having a friend invite you,to get on a specific server IE i cannot enter the IP address of the server i wanna play on......now all that aside, the bigger frustration is playing campaign and solo zombies, and having the gameplay get all choppy and laggy, and I start watching the FPS count drop absurdly low.......In Zombies, when i get to the theater part with the teleporter and all hell is breaking loose, the game starts hiccuping, bad. Now i have a 2.93 GHZ i7...a Nvidia GTX 285....12 GB of DDR3 corsair dominators with the heat sink fans.... the game is installed on a 600 GB raptor....Everything is working fine..... I think its safe to say i meet the requirements of the game......and thats whats the major bummer......In the words of Bill and Ted....BOGUS!!!... But its because all games now are basically console games and then ported over to PC, whereas before, you would have gotten a FPS on PC first and then it would have been ported over to the consoles.....Now, lemme clear up what i just said, i dont care if PC gets a game first, or if the consoles get the games first, i would just like to play a game right out of the box that isnt broken and has been properly tested, lemme re-iterate, I know that all games no matter how much testing has been done, are still gonna have a few minor glitches and bugs, but to have the game be barely playable at best, thats the gripe.......Guys, sorry for the whine, but i just think that my 60 dollars should grant me a enjoyable gameplay experience like everyone else, If Im wrong i guess that makes me an asshole, but I've always been good at that, just ask the wife....I wonder if Activision/Treyarch is gonna charge us for the patch to fix the game.....(*note - Sarcasm has been utilized) oh yeah.....for subzero....I got a wii, xbox 360, and a ps3.......i havent touched em in a long time......I just have never like playing first person shooters with joysticks.....like i said.....Im getting old and ornery(sp?) with age.......I think my posting may be getting old (thought I'd beat you guys to the punch) Ta Ta

I think its pretty safe to say that the PC gamers pretty much hate this game, for the simple fact that we cant PLAY this game......

Number #1) No I am not running the game disk on a PC Number #2) I dont have a game disk, as i downloaded the game off of Steam Number #3) I am playing on a PC, not a Xbox 360 On a lighter note, I am happy to hear it is running fine for you Xbox 360 console gents.....PC is a different story....Its sad that right out of the gate the game needs to be patched in order for it to just work..... not like little gameplay glitches here and there, but i mean run....work..... get my money's worth on a game that has had such a huge level of anticipation.....
-
What are you running the game on?

Thanks for not having a public beta for the PC version........I mean who needs a beta....... Why would you want to find out that the PC version drains your system resources and has PC's CPU's running at 100%....... Why would you want to find out that SP runs like shyte...... (and before you say its my machine, I have plenty of horsepower under the hood)....... is anyone here having these same issues........sorry to rant.......Just pissed off that i have purchased a broken game, that has been overly hyped.....and in the end it runs like shizz.... and i dont even want to start on the MP issues.....LAG!!!!.... even with everyone having low ping.....ugh..... I miss the days of when games were created for the PC and then ported over to consoles.... not the other way around......I'm getting old........

You hit the nail right on the head...... and thats why i thought it was a waste........

Numbers...........what numbers do they want? What are they for? Are they a missing piece of the puzzle as far as the nova gas is concerned, in which the info they seek to retrieve from mason will help whoever is interrogating him successfully conduct and complete said experiments? Lots of questions fill my head with this bit of information.......do the numbers they seek tie into the zombie storyline? Are the numbers what tie in single player campaign to the zombie storyline, if indeed that is what happens like it has been theorised by many? Gknova6 does have random numbers floating around the screen that appear and then vanish......are these the numbers that mason's interrogators are looking for.........do any of the numbers found in the live drop have anything to do with this? If indeed, and more than likely, mason does have the numbers in his head, is him trying to remember them what we see at gknova6? Is gknova6, mason going in and out of conciousness trying to figure out the numbers or is gknova6 what is after the fact when they get mason to remember and he spills the beans? Sorry for the long post........I wanna hear what you guys think.....

Im with ya there chief. I dont think Zombies will be an actual enemy that can be fought or killed in the Campaign, but It seems like, as was mentioned in the 3rd installment of "Bonus Round", the "Surprise" may be that at the end of the Campaign something happens or something is triggered in the facility that holds that interogation room, thus what we are watching now at gknova6, and the storyline from campaign is streamlined in to Zombies storyline and were now thrown into the zombie portion of the game..... i could be horribly wrong though....
-
My question is, what causes hell to break loose outside of the interogation room, which is what we are seeing on gknova6........I mean from everything that has been released, I think its safe to say the campaign is all flashbacks of mason's previous ops, like the newpaper article suggests, but then something seems to happen that causes the outbreak.....hmmm

I honestly think there isnt anything left to find......thats my story and im sticking with it.

I played world at war, first, because it was another CoD game on PC, wasnt into the multiplayer, and strictly played the Nazi Zombie mode. I think if Treyarch changes it up and doesnt include zombies, it may piss off alot of people. I will get B.O. and play through the campaign mode. If the Multiplayer is the same as World at War, i wont really touch it. Co-op better be heroin, if it aint zombies, or a continuation thereof. I think not continuing the storyline would be a turnoff for a lot of people. Honestly, I'm hoping the actual storyline in the campaign mode revolves around the events that *fictionally* took place after Der Reise. Basically trying to keep the whole 935, element 115, Die Glocke, under wraps, with Black Ops missions. The soviets and the US take all the Intel of the german experiments, and basically is part of the arms race. Sounds crazy, but a guy can dream can't he........The thing about huckleberries is, once you go fresh, you'll never go back to canned......

-
