It does do it repeatedly to me now. I'm starting to swap it our for an Mg42/Ppsh-41, much better knowing your not going to accidently down yourself. Only problem is ammo now.

Yeah I've heard of the lightening in the boards. Will have a closer look at it. I'm still bothered by the image flashes after exiting the teleport on the main frame. I'm trying to get a repeat situation to get a faulty teleporter. Just to clarify, I saw no cooling messages, no price for teleport with square button, it was just dead? Some have said it's because the game has the max number of zombies in the level. This was not the case here, there were definitely less that the maximum zombies as I was close to ending the round, about 10-12 zombies left on the level. Its a Mr E. :?

I'm 99% sure that Edward is Richtofen. There are other quotes where he called Maxis master, as did Edward in the radio transmissions. Plus he knows far to much not to have been involved. The question becomes, why is this an important plot point? What is Richtofens agenda in coming back to Der Riese? We believe Der Riese to be the source & first outbreak of the zombies. Maybe this was all some sick plan Richtofen is enacting for the Illuminati. As I have stated before, the Illuminati have an agenda to take over the world by any means. One of their goals is depopulation of the Earth to 500 million souls, so people must die for their goals to be achieved. This is where Richtofen comes in, as a double agent for the Illuminati he planned all along to steal Maxis research and the only way to do it was during the confusion of an outbreak. However he must have missed something, as he has returned to the scene of his crime and he has brought back up with him. So what is he after?

I do like this map Idea, would have been better with Japanese soldiers as stated above, I would like to see a mix of Japanese, Nazis, Civilians (Local Tribes) and Marines, after all the Infection must spread. Think I said this in another post but it reminds me of the Tv series Lost. Replace the Dharma guys with Group 936 or maybe The Thule Society who are linked with Vril in Der Riese. Could go like this.:- The Vril is gone from Der Riese, maybe on its way to Neu Schwabenland in Antarctica, but on route it was shot down by America forces in the Pacific. The Vril then crashes into a tropical desert island, drawning in US troops, Japanese troops & Nazis trying to recover the Vril. This is a pretty solid Idea for a map, anything is possiable with a little thought put into it. Good Thread.

The catwalk is a death sentence, I use it, but I don't camp on it, Der Riese is by far the best for staying on the move, I got to round 51 on my own using a circuit system. Der Riese is just epic, the details, the Story, Teleports, Perks, Pap's, The Bowie Knife and more easter eggs than the easter bunny, love it. All through I do like Shi No Numa, love to use the zipline tactic. Again Verruckt is awesome, the circuit is hard to do but can be mastered. Nacht Der Untoten is by far the hardest in my opinion, the lack of perks and higher grade weapons make for some interesting situations, I always aim for the Ray-gun (long range) M2 (short range), staying in the box room with the help door left closed, stay by the back window and circle the pillars until everythings dead or crispy. I love them all.

That does sound possiable, I think I might try that today, maybe put the Ray-gun in too for good luck, haha. Wish the Monkeybombs could be Pap'd, that would be funny.

Sorry for the double post here. Did anyone else notice that there are actually 5 Teleporters in Der Riese, Z-A, Z-B, Z-C, The Mainframe & and lastly one on the Pap machine ceiling, an upside down teleporter pad. Probably nothing really but a good bit of triva.

I think maybe it was solved:- Der Riese Staircase Solved As we know Der Riese is based off the Multi-player map Nightfire, or is it the other way around? Who knows. The sheer level of detail to Der Riese tells me that Treyarch made no mistakes when added these things into the map, and the most important map is the one you see loading, so Treyarch would have seen them countless times if it was a mistake. They probably knew that it would drive us crazy not knowing whats there. The question marks are not spawning points as there are other spawn points inside the map. Not Radios, Perks, Weapons, Mystery Box, Flytrap items, Fences and Spawning points. What is left after that? :?

Hahaha, I was just on Der Riese messing around with the DG-3 JZ, trying some stuff with the teleports on round 19. On my way back to my start position, I came across the crawler I had left, I was messing around it, then I went to shoot the little bugger, I missed :? Happens lol, the thing hit me once and downed me. :shock: Like I said, I was messing with the DG-3 JZ, I had zapped myself for a few tests, I had recovered from the shock well before the crawler hit me. Seems that the DG-3 JZ is totally cursed, after a zap it ignores Juggs as we all knew, but now I'm pretty sure it takes you down to one hit and down you go, Juggs or no Juggs it makes no difference. Anyone else had a funny one hit down. :lol:

Solo, Dogs are great. 3-4 players and things can get nasty, like if four Hell Hounds latch on to one player, you can be sure that they will down the player even with Jugganog on, this is why Quick Revive is more important than Juggs later on. It gets worse if your in a 3-4 and one or two player leave. I hate this so much. Your question has an esoteric answer also. The Hounds are good in my honest opinion. The reason being Richtofen says "They Know No Better" they are not inherently evil or so it seems, innocent victims in Maxis's experiments. Richtofen really seems to like them alot, just listen to his quotes. Lastly, when Maxis & Sam are locked in the Lab with hellhound fluffy, THEY DID NOT DIE! You can clearly hear the Teleporter activating in the background, then Edward says "Good bye, Dr. Maxis". Remember that the Teleporter in the Lab is not working properly. I believe Maxis & Sam entered the Teleporter as a last resort to escape Fluffy, but as it wasn't working as it should be. They were Teleported into the aether realm of Der Riese where Fluffy & the puppies went, Maxis & Sam became like the hounds & zombies but with their intelligence remaining some how to haunt the remaining characters . Its more likely that they hate Richtofen, if he is indeed Edward for what he did, and the others for helping him. This is reinforced by the fact that it is Maxis that sends the Hell Hounds after you ala "Fetch Me Their Souls". Possiable proof that Richtofen is Edward would be Richtofens quote where he speaks to Maxis after moving the box, he refers to Maxis as master, as did Edward in the Radio Transmissions. Other questions are raised here, Like. Why does Sam get aggitated when you use the teleporters alot? She stops your treats and sends Hell Hound instead. Ok, so I was just playing Der Riese, got to round 30 solo, nothing new. I was hammering the teleporters mostly Z-C, on my last teleport there was no lightening by the drop spot, Sam said "uh-oh" no dogs either, so I made my way back to Z-C, I was inside waiting for the horde to pile in, starting shooting no problems, then when I came to hit the teleport button the damn thing didn't work, so I dodge out up the stairs, back down to the flytrap and back upto Z-C again and again nothing the damn thing didn't work again, this time I got caught inside and downed. So any one else experience this? Note, Takeo says something about turning on the teleporters on, then says "but can we turn them off?" Why would we want to do this then? Also, just like the Garade Flash, I had another flash after teleporting, it was of the cages in the corner of Teleporter room Z-A. Maybe a clue to something, I'm going to view as many teleporter trips in frame by frame, see if I can find others. Will get pics posted of anything interesting. Regards Alpha Snake.

Ok, so I've been listening to all the audio materials for Der Riese. Richtofen says "Lighting just hit the mainframe, we should investigate." I don't get to play as him often so have never heard this, is it when all the teleports are linked? "Something very big just happened" Could be about the Pap machine? I'm not sure. "Oh I am aroused, could it truly be the stars have aligned" Not sure this is one quote (Oh I am aroused bit, could be after hearing all Richtofens Quotes), what the hell could that mean?
