Obvious Ascension Hints that We Didnt Notice
ChrisMathers replied to METALLICA175's topic in Ascension
I don't know why, but Woods' tattoo says 115 from Executive Order on. I got the X360 Prestige edition. Hmmm...I don't know. MAYBE it says SOG TOUGH but it says 115 in Victor Charlie. -
I can't tell. It kinda looks like the Rebirth Island facility. All lit up because it's nighttime.

Ascension location confirmed in FB Update!
ChrisMathers replied to TheOneAndOnly's topic in Ascension
Look, I hate to be the one to say this, this isn't the kind of person that I am and I apologize in advance but OH MY GOD, YOU'RE A F***ING MORON! Does the word "ANNOUNCEMENT" mean NOTHING to you? Do you know what the word OFFICIAL means? Do you realize that Facebook is UBIQUITOUS and was around BEFORE Twitter? Official word from the official site?!? THE OFFICIAL SITE DOESN'T EVER TELL US SHIT! GKNova6 told us a world of difference more than the official site ever told us. Josh Olin is a moderately wealthy man who not only manages the community, but also has better things to do with his time than announce every little small detail we the gamers quibble about - in case you didn't notice it took him well over a month to call out Henry Langham's bullshit. Look, again, I apologize, I'm sorry - but you do not need God to descend from the Heavens, or Satan to come digging up out of the ground, Thor to kick down your door, Buddha to come down from his temple, Allah to hop out of his spider hole, or the mother****ing Spaghetti Monster to smile up at you from your plate, just to tell you that yes, the sky is, in fact, blue. Look, the guy who posted before me didn't have the time to rant, but sometimes I just don't have the maturity to leave the willfully wrong alone. I can't help it, it just needed to be said. -
Sit down, make yourself at home, have a beer. If you have any questions or comments or maybe know something we don't, don't hesitate. This is the place for all your zombie related concerns.

I'm pretty sure the zombies can be created whether their host body is alive or dead. They talk a lot about reanimation, but Richtofen turns into a zombie while he's still alive - Ipod training level - whereas the zombies in Verruckt were clearly already dead or else they wouldn't need to dig out of their graves.

Yeah, I remember that. I volunteered because I have moderator experience but then I decided I didn't care and since it was just before the release of Black Ops, my job would entail plugging leaks, and I REALLY didn't want to have to even look at them and spoil the plot for myself. I admit, I like porn. Especially interracial shemale porn involving bondage. Also midgets, because, hey, why not, everything's better with midgets. I try to keep it contained on my computer, but there's a lot in my bookmarks list. But you know what? As I said before, it JUST DOES NOT BELONG HERE. A sex scene or a nude scene in a videogame is one thing, but on a message board it's just a distraction. And NO I DON'T WANT ANY TRAMADOL, whatever the f**k that is. What we need is a computer program that can target the IP address or however you track down someone's computer and send a targeted virus that causes their hard drive to melt, start smoking, explode, or otherwise ruin itself and other computer components. You know...why put up a fence when you can put up an electric razor wire fence?

I agree. I don't need to see tits, ass, vag, cock and people fucking when I'm on here trying to talk about zombies. It just gets in the way - plus the stuff this spamming asshole has been posting doesn't even make sense to me because I don't even read Russian. Zombies are gross, they stink, they have rotten juices oozing out of them, and they're infested with maggots - there ain't a damn thing sexy about them. Although, if you listen to some of the songs from A Very Zombie Christmas, I would imagine Richtofen would beg to differ, the sick bastard.

Ascension location confirmed in FB Update!
ChrisMathers replied to TheOneAndOnly's topic in Ascension
im sorry, i forgot FB rules all. And thats my point, i don't care if it is an official FB page, its still a damn FB page! Why of why would you post on a crappy FB and not on your CM official Twitter page or on Your own damn site?? where is the logic in that, please tell me because i see none As i said, its either leaked, or Fake. And considering my theories support it being based on launch, in still happy to sit here and argue the validity of that update on FB. for all the reasons i have mentioned above. Because Twitter sucks, smart guy. Think. Ignore Facebook for a second. It's the OOOFFFIIICCCIIIAAALLL CCCAAALLLLLL OOOFFF DDDUUUTTTYYY facebook page. Derp. When ANYTHING comes through an official channel, it's not a leak, it's an announcement. -
Yep, I just tried it in the CIA and Dreamland servers... no results I think that actually says 'ER', not 'KR'. ER would obviously refer to Richtofen (though how he'd be alive in 1975 is a mystery considering we've seen him die on the iPod zombies tutorial), but what does FS mean? Could this be a new character or is it someone we already know and are just forgetting? Is the Ipod version Canon though? DON'T! OKAY?!? JUST F#$*ING DON'T! PLEASE. Call of Duty has NEVER ONCE had an issue with canon and I see NO REASON WHATSOEVER to even mention the word in an uncertain way and open up such a can of worms. Look, I'm a Star Wars fan. Take it from me: YOU DO NOT WANT TO GET INTO A DISCUSSION ABOUT WHAT IS AND WHAT IS NOT CANON. IT JUST ISN'T WORTH IT. Besides, I have an explanation: Time travel. Branching timelines. Alternate realities. And of course the fact that we still don't know how this is all going to end.
-
Funny thing though. We see him die in the airfield building, zombify, and get killed again. But we also see a portrait of him in Kino where he and everyone else has apparently aged at least 20 years.

viewtopic.php?t=4826 *Makes explosion noise* Ascension IS a cosmodrome. D'oh!
-
Aw! Dude! *slaps self in face, accompanied by a jaw drop of realization* I just realized something! Richtofen's death. The way it happens. Okay, so he goes back in time, right? Then he dies. You know who else went back in time and died? You know, besides Kyle Reese? Bruce Willis in 12 Monkeys. Monkeys are very important in Black Ops. Rebirth Island had a lab full of them, there's a dead monkey storage area in Kino, DOA introduced the "Cosmic Silverback," and the GKNova6.com update was a monkey in a spacesuit in a Vitruvian Man pose. Also one of the main characters, Hudson I think, was supposed to look more like Bruce Willis.

WHAT "BEWARE OF THE 6" REALLY MEANS!!!
ChrisMathers replied to The_Black_Operator's topic in Kino Der Toten
It just doesn't make sense though, the story in the campaign follows real life events, and why would the story ignore the fact that there was a zombie outbreak in Germany. Also, the intel may not be meaning what you think. The Die Glocke was a real object that the Gernan's were working on during WW2. The only other clue is that they mention Wunderwaffe weapons, but they don't go into detail enough to make a connection. You know why the campaign didn't have any zombies in it? BECAUSE IT WASN'T ABOUT THE ZOMBIES. The fact is, they DID mention the zombie storyline by referencing Wunderwaffe, Die Glocke, Der Reise, etc. They didn't HAVE to include that stuff. BUT THEY DID. You know what I think? I think these zombie levels are a series of outbreaks in semi-isolated areas. Outbreaks. As in: "not a full-scale zombie apocalypse?" As in, any time you hear about a zombie apocalypse or anything like that within the Call of Duty community, it's probably just Henry Langham's way of saying "Why don't people like me? Please pay attention to me." -
Yo, lookit the date. January 23, 1975. And here we all thought Kino took place in the 60s.

Yeah, I just heard that line the other day. Hey, you wouldn't happen to be the guy who posted that vid on youtube would you? The one about all the map pack stuff? Like I said, don't worry about it. Haters gonna hate. -

ChrisMathers replied to The_Black_Operator's topic in Kino Der Toten
It's already combined. Read the intel file for the "Project Nova" level. -
I imagine he came from the future.
-
Richtofen's already dead, remember? He turned into a zombie and the player shot him to death. It was in the bunker from Nacht Der Untoten on the Ipod version of the game.
-
Only problem with that is how do you not trust someone you're playing as? Almost sounds like what they're trying to do with FEAR 3, having you play as Paxton Fettel.

All I want for christ...call of duty 9 is .......?
ChrisMathers replied to nicolas1998's topic in Black Ops
I want a WW1 game or a designated zombie game. I also want them to NOT make an MMO. -
Fuck that shit. I don't even WANT the multiplayer maps, just taking up space. All I really want is the zombie map. Charge more for something I don't want? Kiss my ass.

Investigating the CODED MESSAGES in THE NUMBERS!
ChrisMathers replied to Anti Earth's topic in Black Ops
Enjoy being the failed product of an education system that's failed us all. -
I know there are several threads already talking about ideas for DLC, people going into detail about what they want for online, zombie mode or campaign, but what makes this thread unique is I only want to talk about Treyarch's plans for new singleplayer levels. At this point, we have no idea what shape or form this DLC will take, but I personally am hoping for something along these lines: Something like five levels apiece, in three installments, each of course accompanied by a multiplayer map and a zombie level because you know they're going to make them anyway, but that's another story. 1 - Sort of a prequel. There were only three levels where you played as Hudson, none where you played as Woods. Both fought in Korea. THAT is some backstory I would love to play out. I know next to nothing about the Korean War other than having watched a bunch of MASH episodes. 2 - A standalone where you play as the Soviets. We had a total of one level where you played as Reznov, but that was set in WW2 and it didn't exactly tell a story from the perspective of "the other side," now did it? Same goes for the Afghanistan levels in Black Ops DS where you play as another Russian soldier betrayed by his leaders. Were there ANY Soviet soldiers who weren't shot by the commissars, gassed by their geneals, left for dead by their captains, etc? Hell, maybe even a level where you play as the VC or NVA. 3 - Operation Charybdis. Hudson is on Jackson and Kain's shit list, Weaver's looking for his niece, Mason is acting on X's information and going after Woods and, for some reason, Clark's brother, and Jonathan Redacted (my guess is Price) is coming to kill them all. That's what I want to see - a prequel starring the secondary characters set in Korea, a shift in focus to where you play as the bad guys, and a series of levels starring the main characters where it all comes to a head. To be downloaded individually or packaged later onto a disk like Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City. So what do you want to see out of this new singleplayer DLC?
-
God no. We already have a Call of Duty in Space game. It's called Halo. Some people call it Aliens vs. Predator. Others call it StarCraft. Unless it's a full zombie game. Think about it. Nazi Zombies was a ridiculous enough concept. Nazi Zombies in Space just f**king pwns. But more than anything else I want to see a World War One game. There's only one WW1 FPS AND IT ISN'T EVEN FOR CONSOLES! :x
