  1. infact he wouldnt be in the army So it never crossed your mind that Captain Price had a father? What, you thought he woke up in a clone tank one day?
  2. This whole thing about all the Nazi stuff leads me to believe Kino is in West Berlin. While the Western Allies may have declared all the Nazi flags, uniforms and other such symbols illegal, it was the Russians who were the ones who were just pissed off enough to actually enforce it. If this was in East Berlin, and you saw a bunch of Nazi flags, it would only be because they were too wet to burn completely.
  3. I think it's Price. It's gotta be. I'd bet a week's pay. Several reasons. For one he wouldn't be the first Infinity Ward character Treyarch brought back. That was Major Ingram. Actually no, it was pretty much everyone from the first Call of Duty game's American campaign, but Major Ingram, an Infinity Ward character, was in more Treyarch games than Infinity Ward games. I mean, if Terminator was licensed to a different movie studio, you don't think they'd bring back robots, time travel and the Connor family? And two, the name. Listen to the end credits song for Modern Warfare where Griggs specifically calls him Jonathan Price. Not John, Jonathan. And three, Price talks about how Zakhaev was the first time the government authorized an assassination since WW2, but the hit on Mason, Hudson and Weaver, if you hack the terminal and read peoples' mail, you'll learn that it was an UNSANCTIONED operation, and that...who was it...Richard Kain?...was in hot water with his superiors for ordering it.
  4. It looks Black Ops related. Map of Europe, redacted documents, and someone who could either be Kravchenko or Hudson. Singleplayer DLC maybe?
  5. LIKE: The campaign, from the numbers intro to the numbers outro. LIKE: The story behind Zombies. Nixon's baaack! Arooo! HATE: The gameplay behind Zombies. The story might not be supposed to make sense, but the missions sure as Hell should.
  6. you have to press the thumbs up to the right of the person's post, the thumbs down takes away brains (used for a bad post) Thanks. I thought those rep points were just rep points - like that we had TWO kinds of rep points. Seems I was mistaken.
  7. So I did the intel hunt - gathered up every last tape recorder. 3 pieces per level that take the black out of black ops as the redaction ink vanishes like invisible ink. So now I can read all these CIA dossiers on its agents, assets, and targets. But no. For some f***ed up reason, they made the font too damn small. It's nowhere near as bad as the font on the terminal, but it still sucks. I have to squint like Clint Eastwood just to read it and even then the odd word is just too illegible. Post so much as a single pic I don't already have, and you'll get [brains] from me, and possible from anyone else here who finds being able to read stuff agreeable. I'll post what I have, and for reference, a list of what I still need. Executive Order http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb2 ... _Intel.jpg The Defector http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb2 ... ot0005.jpg Numbers http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb2 ... _entry.jpg Redemption http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb2 ... ot0021.jpg These are all I can find right now. I know S.O.G. is there too but I can't find it. If I dig it up later I'll let you guys know, unless someone else posts it first. But yeah, I'm looking for the intel for the levels: -Operation 40 -Vorkuta -Project Nova -Victor Charlie -Crash Site -WMD -Payback -Rebirth -Revelations So, just to reiterate: brains to whoever posts pics of the unlockable intel screens for the levels listed above.
  8. it doesnt zombifie people, they used the nova 6 at kino as part of group 935s plan to create an unstoppable dead army which they kind of succeded Wait wait wait. Did you just say "it doesn't zombify people, they just used it successfully as part of Group 935's plan to zombify people?"
  9. How do I make the text bigger? I need a way to enlarge it so as I can actually read it. I can only read it if I squint, and I have to read some sentences multiple times in order to figure out a word, and it's all because the TEXT IS TOO GODDAMN SMALL. If there's no way to enlarge it, I need the directories of each individual user, because, again, the text is just TOO GODDAMN SMALL, and without the context that a word would have as part of a sentence, it's a LOT harder to figure out filenames than other words. Here's a list of all known usernames and passwords. http://callofduty.wikia.com/wiki/Centra ... ata_system Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
  10. You know why I'm going to forgive your spelling errors? Because you have a quote from "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" in your sig. I f**kin' love that show, man!
  11. I for one wish they'd put out trailers for the two maps that are already out. I mean, Nacht Der Untoten had its own trailer. Wouldn't be the first time trailers were made post-release. It would really benefit people who can never seem to get a team together, end up playing as themselves, die after about five rounds, say "fuck this" and quit. As it stands right now, Zombies is fun, but Left4Dead does the same exact thing only way better, which is a shame, because Nazi Zombies has a more interesting story.
  12. On top of the fact that all the information in them dies and goes to hell when the servers crash and nobody fixes them, this is another reason I hate ARGs. They get everybody all hyped up over nothing. Hey. I got a question. Forget the gun. Who the hell is this Sitting Bull character? Is it or is it not Alex Mason?
  13. Meh, Commander034 is just a negative nancy. I remember him being a dick to noobs before this game came out. Black Ops was badass. Maybe not the best game of all time but damn if it ain't high up there on the list. You know who Reznov reminded me of in the Vorkuta level? Bratac from Stargate SG-1. His mannerisms, his attitude, and the fact that Gary Oldman's voice even kind of sounds like Tony Amendola. And his beard even sort of made him look similar.
  14. Seriously, somebody help me out here. How do I give this guy [brains] ? He obviously deserves it for all the effort he put in but I just simply don't know how to give [brains] . I've asked before but nobody's told me how, and I don't remember seeing the how-to in the "rules to read before posting anything" thread.
  15. I seriously hope these new loading screens are hinting at plans for a Nazi Zombies comic. Modern Warfare: Ghost was the shit. It even mentioned Castro and Kennedy.
  16. Nova-6 gas was invented by an SS scientist named Doctor Friedrich Steiner who worked for the Wunderwaffe Program. (As did Doctors Ludwig Maxis and Edward Richtofen.) It was going to be used against Washington and Moscow. Unfortunately for the Nazis, the V2 threat to London drew a lot of British attention and they bombed the shit out of the freighter carrying Steiner's gas as it made its way through the Arctic Circle. They were so isolated they never got the order from Berlin to stand down so they kept on guarding the gas and standing around with their guns being Nazis like it was cool until the Soviets showed up to remind them that, no, it wasn't. After collecting Steiner, the Soviet generals throw Reznov's squad into the gas chamber, the British show up and like a pack of trigger-happy ratfuck meatheads, are too busy getting their kill on to notice one group of Russians fighting the other. So when JD said there would be no links between the campaign and the zombie mode, he LIIIIIEEEED! Or, you know, maybe just didn't know. So you see? Nova gas is just the latest Wonder Waffle.
  17. What disappointed me the most was finding out that Reznov had died. If he'd survived, I wouldn't mind the hallucinations, but when I replayed the game, every time I saw him in Vietnam I was like "aw dude, come on, really?" That guy was the ultimate badass even without kicking ass in 'Nam.
  18. Look. Having had time to think about it, I think the OP is wrong. Not wrong about Kravtchenko, but premature in saying that GK was not a group. We have a shit ton of documents that say otherwise. We know they're a corporation with alleged Nazi ties, part of the command and control infrastructure established in post-war Berlin, German Knowledge, somehow linked to IG Farben, and by 2010 were some shady, off-the-grid black operation looking to silence and/or discredit leakers. If you ask me, I think GK was a group, possibly led by Kravtchenko, that used to be a German corporation that assisted the Nazis, then later helped both the US and Russia with Operation Paperclip and Russia's counterpart operation. The head of the corporation got into serious trouble when the extent of his Nazi ties came to light, and he was replaced, either by Kravtchenko or by someone who'd eventually be replaced by Kravtchenko. Kravtchenko looks over Himmler's biowarfare programs and decides to continue them, developing the Nova gas, a gas which seems to somehow magically combine the effects of Element 115, Nazi occult pseudo-science, tetrodotoxin, and all the other good stuff that makes zombies, into single nerve gas grenades. Whatever happened to Kravtchenko and his project didn't destroy GK as a whole, but got redacted to hell and back by the CIA and by 2010, the GK people know just barely more about what happened than we the fans know, and are not only trying to make up for lost time and research, they also have to contend with leaks threatening to expose their illegal activities. That's my theory. I know it mentions zombies, and Treyarch said clearly that ZOMBIES. WILL. NOT. BE. IN. SINGLE. PLAYER. But consider this. Rockstar Games once said LIBERTY. CITY. STORIES. WILL. NEVER. COME. OUT. FOR. THE. PS2. And it did. And they said the same exact thing about Vice City Stories. Don't trust a game developer who says something will never happen. What he means to say is that it "might" never happen.
  19. Ouch. Brain hurts. Realization's a bitch, ain't it? I don't believe it. Yer right, yer absolutely right. 'S gotta be, man. GKNova6. GK=General Kravtchenko. Nova=The Nova Project. 6=shorthand for 'leader,' as in "John Clark is Rainbow Six." So in the same way that John Clark is Rainbow Six, General Kravtchenko is GKNova Six. It's so simple it's stupid. It's been so in front of us the whole time you'd have to go cross-eyed to see it. THEY EVEN SAID...that this whole Nova gas thing was all because of some mad Russian general doing all these experiments. I still say German Knowledge and IG Farben have SOMETHING to do with the story, something to do with the Nova Project. But now we have something clear as day, not all murky and redacted. And only days from release. Man...you deserve a promotion for figuring this out.
  20. I caved in. I watched leaked content. But in the absence of a zombie trailer, it was more than worth it. I thought I wanted this game before...I want this game so bad it's got me foaming at the mouth. F*ck mouth, my whole house is foaming at the couch. I mean, literally. I played World at War, W@W DS, Nazi Zombies and Final Fronts. I read the Ghost comic and played Modern Warfare 2 and Modern Warfare: Mobilized. I watched youtube clips of Modern Warfare: Force Recon. I have Black Ops Prestige edition on preorder and I intend to get the DS version as well. I thought I wanted the game. I didn't. NOW I REALLY DO, I REALLY DO, I WANT THIS GAME. Trust me, though. The No Russian leak might have spoiled the game a little. The Black Ops leak sure as HELL ruined a LOT of the biggest, MOST EPIC SURPRISE Call of Duty has ever had up its sleeve to date, but at the same time, it's got me sitting through the most agonizing week of the year. I say this from experience... YOU WANT THIS GAME. YOU NEED TO PLAY THIS. I'D TELL YOU WHY BUT I REFUSE TO SPOIL IT FOR YOU, EXCEPT TO SAY THAT WHEN YOU SEE IT, YOU WILL SHIT A BRICK OF SHITTY, BRICKY GOODNESS OUT OF HOW AWESOME IT IS. SO. FOR YOUR OWN GOOD. STAY AWAY FROM LEAKS AT ALL COSTS. Thank you, that is all.
  21. Ya what he said....now i must destroy every copy of modern warefare 2 that i have in celebration of black ops hahahahahaha!! You do that, and on Christmas Eve night, while you're sound asleep in your bed, Soap MacTavish is gonna rappel down your chimney and rape you in the ear.
  22. Man I can't wait for that - I'd play it right now but I'm still at 75% completion (or higher as of an hour ago.)
  23. I still don't see the big deal. If anything they should be low-key about it because they're not innovating, they're catching up. Not to say the company that decided to set an FPS in the Cold War isn't innovative of course!
  24. I ain't gonna flame. I'm positive it's fake, but I used to follow it with interest too. Medal of Honor. Man. I WOULD have that game if a Hagerstown retard hadn't smashed his brakes in a 55 and caused a car accident I have to put in about a month's pay to fix. He's lucky I had the self restraint not to dig him out of his car and put the tire jack through his brain pan.
  25. Yeah so I just read the Ghost comic. In case you ain't read it before, SPOILERS AHEAD. All right, get this. It takes place in 2010. Ghost is assisting a Delta Force unit when they all get captured by a Mexican heroin kingpin branching out into terrorist trafficking. The squad's leader, Major Vernon, is in cahoots with the kingpin and the team gets captured. They all get tortured and...get this...brainwashed. Yes, brainwashed. Of course, Ghost's brainwashing doesn't take because he'd already reached his breaking point long ago. BUT! Consider the importance of brainwashing in Captain Mason's story. But you know what really ties this game to Black Ops for me? Something El Gordo, the kingpin, mentioned at the end of a speech. "Never be afraid to try something new, eh, Mr. Death? Like getting into business with the terrorists. They said it was like playing with fire. El Gordo is not stupid. The US is my meal ticket after all. But Uncle Sam makes speeches. He sends soldiers to kill El Gordo. They try and kill Castro, too, he get Mr. Kennedy back but good." Also of note was where Major Vernon mentioned how people would never know the good that was done at Abu Ghraib, but that could mean anything given whatever how whatever he was talking about could be good for any number of factions.
