For the 360, for the PS2, for the DS, and then I played Nazi Zombies with some friends of mine. You know, I don't see what the big deal is. So Mason has a voice and a body and a face. Big deal. Yes, it's never been done in a Call of Duty before and yes it's something that we all want. But that's just it. It's something we've wanted all along and knew it could be done. Just think - how many games do you have where the player speaks? Not many, but that's not the point. You have a few, right? Hell, Grand Theft Auto. Every game since the 3rd one has had a player character with a speaking role. Nevertheless, Black Ops is all I'm gonna be playing for quite some time.

I gotta ask something. How come it's "too realistic" to chop up a dude's face in a videogame? If you saw that shit in a movie theater or on a DVD, you'd see a parent calming down a freaked-out youngster by saying "don't worry, son, it's okay, it's not real, they're just actors." And that's the same thing here. Some dude made a face like he was being tortured. I guarantee you Treyarch didn't mocap the face of an actual person getting his balls twisted off. How does such a weak-belly work for a company that makes shooter games anyway? Doesn't he know what bullets do to bodies?

There really is no common sense left in the world. That's kind of like a story I heard about a man's dog killing a woman and biting a cop. They had the SWAT team waiting outside on the suspicion the man in the house sold some crack, like it was plutonium pellet rods or some shit, and instead of being normal human beings, the ratfuck meathead SWAT team kicked in the door and killed two dogs with their MP5s who were barking because they were startled that a team of armed armored assholes had stormed in. Now of course the guy, his wife, and his kid are all inside when it happened. The search turned up "a small amount of marijuana," police jargon for "jack shit and not enough to legally hold someone on." Hell I even saw the whole video on youtube. And because this is America, these c***suckers still have badges. Hey, remember Six Days in Fallujah? They said they were still going to make it because they didn't carry their balls in a purse like the people protesting them wanted them to act like. So where the Hell is that game? I'm eagerly anticipating it - dammit it BETTER see the light of day! Hell, Rockstar Games should help - they know a thing or two about capitalizing on controversy.

This reminds me of a story I read about a man who had a heart attack, and then was sued because the faces he was making during his heart attack emotionally disturbed some woman. I swear, if I was brought up on charges for THAT shit, I'd give them something to sue me for...assault. Assault HER face. Right in court. With the judge's gavel.

I'm sorry, I know this adds nothing at all important, but... When you watch the thing, notice the scientist or whatever he is looking through the observation window. He leaves, but then seems to come back in a panic, getting attacked by a zombie. It looks like the zombie's thrashing him around like a wacky waving inflatable arm-flailing tube man.

I know that if I'm to become a mod here I need to learn this stuff, so before before somebody tries to get smart and tells me to find out, let me just say right now that's why I'm asking for help, so that I can learn. :facepalm: I knew this would happen. Again. Let me reiterate. Josh could have worded his post better and, knowing how the clamoring fans hang on his every word, probably should have. Zombie mode DEPENDS ON the singleplayer campaign to fill in the backstory and provide context. But there are no zombies in the campaign. Kind of the way every movie, comic, game, TV episode and novel set in Star Wars depends on A New Hope, but A New Hope can stand alone. If he had said "The campaign stands alone - the zombie mode is just a spinoff," we wouldn't be discussing even be discussing it. There is one other link besides the Cold War setting anyway. That whole interrogation/experimentation theater.

I guarantee you if I was a Gamestop manager and somebody tried to get me to jeopardize my career by selling him an early copy, and it turned out he was lying about having cancer, I'd have him permanently banned from my store. Well, I wasn't here from the beginning, I started following quite some time after GKNova6 began. But I thought it was cool when Carbon, and Neejoh from the 24/7 forum, got that package from Germany. I didn't figure out anything REAL important because I lack the skills needed to play ARGS - cryptology, programming, and finding out what numbers mean - but I figured out "Son of the Hud" was referring to Jason Hudson. That was kinda my 15 seconds.

I say no. And not just because I want to be a moderator. I said no because No Russian, one of the most powerful levels in the last game, got ruined by all the leaks. Once I become a moderator, and I'm pretty sure I will, you link it, I close it. I'm interested. I'd like to help in whatever way I can. I even was a moderator once. There was a forum set up for a Half-Life mod and they gave me moderator privileges. The mod, Escape Velocity, never really was released and the whole thing was kind of unsuccessful, but some of those guys put in an awful lot of work for amateurs. I just wish it had been released, it had a LOT of potential and could have been the next biggest mod since They Hunger, but kind of fell apart. Still, we were QUITE active for the time, throwing around ideas and such. I carried the banhammer but used it responsibly. I only ever had to use it a few times, and only because the idiots I used it on were harassing others and posting porn and ads. I'm on here every day, I'm 23 but when I was 21 my maturity level led someone to believe I was 25, and I have a small amount of experience. I don't particularly want to come...well...not "face to face" with a troll, more like online profile to online profile, but if I do, I'll know what to do. Plus I can tell the difference between a noob and someone who should really know better. I'm at your service.
