little fact here. in John Plaster's book about SOG, he claims that at least one SOG operative used an MP40 during recon missions in Laos. Apparently, the guy was a WW2 veteran (this was early in the Vietnam conflict, so a lot of ww2 special forces vets were still around) and he wanted to use the weapon that the german soldiers used to shoot at him. I'm hopin' for an MP40 wager match, kinda like sharpshooter, except it switches between attachments. imagine an mp40 with red dot or reflex!

I need a link to a youtube video or download of the cinematic before the begining of project nova. NOT one that starts with Reznov talkng, but the thing before that, which has footage of ww2 and the count-back from the 1960s to 1945, with the russian soldiers in winter camo, etc. i'm interested in using it for some sort of fan-made trailer, but i wouldn't give anything away. it would have to be a short vid, as i don't have a zamzar acount and am limited in the file urls i can use.. thx.

No. Maybe Richtofen tried to go back to prevent it but was foolish and got killed thus ending his story and starting the whole zombies story. Honestly. He maybe insane but if you look at it he wants to stop the zombies as much as, or even more than everyone else. Cause he started it. Had he not interfered with maxis and killed him and sam none of the zombies would have gotten out, well not by his hands anyway. He is slowly going mad with guilt and when he finds out that the teleporters are capable of time travel (kino) he goes back and tries to stop it but fails and doesn't tell himself thus starting the time perminant of zombies happening and him going back and dying which is why him dying cant possibly be out of the picture. Honestly it could answer the end of zombies. Everyone dying and richtofen with his last strength trying to go back and stop this so he doesn't die with the worlds blood on his hands but fails. when making large speculation, be sure to clearly state that it's just your theary, otherwise you could confuse new members. not dissing your theory or anything, but it's just annoying when someone posts their theory, and then there are 7 or 8 repeat posts of new people saying 'wait what i thought that'.....

i haven't seen these batteries. do they look like red top modern car batteries? if so, there is one of those at the main menu. look all the way down to the left, at the bottom of one of the carts with medical equipment on top.

just a thought: maybe 'luna' should be treated like an 'enter' key. doing nothing before luna initiates the default sequence of events, but entering in something else, then doing luna will initiate something else. kind of like you have to hit 'rlogin' to activate a different server.

i'll admit that if there is no way to get it, then that poster is a little deceptive, putting the dg-2 and winter howl alongside the thundergun and ray gun, which are in the map. we'll have to wait til pc gets it and checks the weapon files.

i don't think it's richtofen. look at the pic where i talk about the cosmonaut zombies. notice that there is a black line running the length of the leg. maybe a seal or zipper of some sort. now look at the pic where i point out the new character. SAME BLACK LINE DOWN THE LEGS. so whoever it is, they are wearing a space suit. if Richy is in a space suit, why didn't the other characters get a costume change?

not sure about... that but i do know is that on the boxes on the picture in the upper right corner, the crates have the insignia of the ussr and china, which hasn't been mentioned anywhere before.

most of those radios he shot weren't necessary. it's only the one in storage to the RIGHT of the perk machine, not behind on the barrel. in the comm room on the shelf, bottom level, directly to the right of the phone In the doctor's quarters, to the right, in that area on the front porch. (that's the one i've been missing)
