It's possible, but the only weapon that's any good between them is the scavanger and it is even more rare than the ray gun.
-
Okay, I had no Idea what they were, I've only ever played Cotd solo so I have yet to use them for the co-op Easter egg. Thank you for the clarification.

Okay, I have been skimming through the forums looking for anything like this. I didn't find anything that specifically mentioned them though, SO I ask this question. What is with the weird things near the light house that look like some type of light fixture, but when you use them they play a foghorn note or something that sounds like it? So far I have found three. On is on the left side of the shore for the water closest to the AK-74u out side, the next is in the same area next to the corner of the building, the third is in the back area with speed cola near the rock on land. Just what are these things? Are they connected to the lighthouse dials? Why has no one mentioned them before? Can anyone answer any of these questions?

Strange noises coming from lighthouse?
Jakman217 replied to coolyocool111's topic in Call Of The Dead
That is just the ambience music, it is on kino as well and just as lightly played. Anyway, I think there might be a connection to those dials and these weird things near the light house that play notes. If you look by the water closest to the light house base you should see a strange thing that almost looks like a light fixture, but if you try the use button on it the thing plays a long deep note. There is another by the corner of the building in the same area and another by the rock in the area with speed cola. Maybe that has something to do with it. -
I will say I'm 69(Te-he)% in agreement, the zombification and Timetravel make sense to him being there against you and looking older. But I still have a little issue with it. Clarke was a CHEMICAL engineer not a physicist, why would he be working with the Teleporters like he does as a Chemical Engineer, that doesn't make sense. But, after working however long he was there he may have learned his way with the teleporters so I will say it is Clarke. (If calling him an engineer isn't right I apologize, but that is the closest thing I could think to call him. ) Wait.... MAYBE.....he is actually....ISSAC CLARK!!!!115?!!!! :!: :!: In case you haven't played it, I was referring to Dead Space.

I find the idea of a ladder that comes down and takes you to a secret gun to be preposterous. This reminds me of the Help door on Der Riese, and that led nowhere. The third tape however I have my reservation on. I think there could be a third tape but find it unlikely. But interesting story anyway.

Dude! You just Mindraped everyone who doesn't understand the Basic concepts of String theory, among other things. I give you props for thinking about it like that. [brains] [brains] and more [brains] !!!!!115?!!!!!

Kino der toten power on early Yes or NO
Jakman217 replied to ALL-STAR_WELSHY's topic in Kino Der Toten
I wait until I can get The Bowie and by into the room from either of the second rooms away, so instantly once I get there. But I usually don't PaP a weapon until the twenties because it is kinda a waste having that much power, and I wait until I get decent weapons from the Mystery box and Buy all the perks before that. My best alone is round 34 on Kino. -
If you look at the two views of the killing of stiener you'll notice what Mason actually did was what Reznov did, while he saw it in his head as Reznov. So any moment when it is just you and Reznov you can basically swap their places at any time. That means that you could have been what he thought he did when Reznov was what he actually did. It's confusing but makes sense if you think hard enough and have brainwashed someone previously.

Yeah this may seem strange stupid or whatever but did anyone see the clock over the fence across from the mainframe in Der Reise. I looked at it and noticed that the clock has a second hand. It's small but it's there and it just keeps repeating the same five seconds over and over again. I'm posing this because of the whole "Right Before your eye" thing and just though maybe there is something there. Just musing a little. It may be nothing.

FIrst to Limbsoup Stop trying to convice people to stop looking. If people want to search for something that "Might" be there let them, because what if there is? Second with the date I found was March 11 1942 MacArthur Leaves the Philippines Or November 3 1942 Hitler orders Rommel not to retreat at the battle of El Alamein. The first is at least a little useful to the Germans because it allows for better access to Japan. Maybe the meteor was in the Philippines?
-
Maybe it's because after round ~15 or so you can get another WunderWaffe in your team. Me and My friend proved that much. I think around then the game takes the WW limit off in SNN.

The prestige thing are only for 360 no problem for me though ps3 and I hate multiplayer

Verruckt connection? Is one of the marines "Tank" Dempsey
Jakman217 replied to Jakman217's topic in World At War
Zombieriese Also with your thing in Der Riese occasionally Dempsey with start by saying," We need to turn the power on, How original." So the connections he makes to Verruckt just add to it. -
Late May to early June 1945. An American plane goes down in the middle of Germany. Most of the crew survive the crash but something is wrong. They hear a man scream and run to see what it is. It is another crew member and he is being attacked by a crazed man. They try to restrain him but he goes after them and starts biting and hitting them. They notice something isn't right in the man. His eyes are glowing orange and he has half of his stomach hanging out yet he still goes on to attack them. One of the four shoots him with his pistol killing it. The man who was attacked was dead and as they looked into the midnight fog they saw the army of undead coming to them. They got the dead mans ammo from his corpse when suddenly he came back to life with the same glowing orange eyes. They killed him with a shot to the head and realized just what they were. They ran to an abandoned bunker and prepared for the onslaught. Later that month a group found the remains of the plane and the bunker. In the remains was a few "examples". They dispatched them and reported it to "Higher People" in the military and government. With information and the obvious evidence there were more zombies left. Following the trail of dead and a tips to Verruckt near Berlin. Due to the end of the war in the pacific they decided to create a team from them. Among them was one "Tank" Dempsey. Verruckt Wittenau Germany September 1945. The team enters the facility when the power suddenly goes out, splitting them in half. As they fight through the Facility to turn the power on they discover the perk-a-colas and that there seems to be something else behind the gun loaded mystery box. They notice the left arm attached to the power switch. As the swarm grew more and more vicious they lost a a few men until only Dempsey was left. To survive he locked himself in a room filled with files and attacked them until he was left with nothing but files in the room. He hunkered down like he did while in a Japanese POW camp. Reading the files he found out it was a human supply sight to a "Dr. Maxis" and his assistant "Dr. Richtofen". As he kept reading he heard a radio start playing in the room. When he found it he herd a man named "Peter" trying to communicate with him. He found the microphone on his side in less than working order. Peter continued talking to him and mentioned the Experiments at some facility but due to the fact only volunteers went and they were taken in a government truck. He believes he can pick up the trail near Japan where they seem to be getting a supply of Element 115. Dempsey did his best to grab files that could be useful and prepared to make a run for it. As he made his way out Nikolai jumped in to help him. The both of them did there best but had to escape and the asylum was over-run. December of 1945 Back in america Dempsey and Nikolai officially team up to go to Japan to continue the hunt for the zombies origins. With America and Japan now allies they add to their group Takeo. They leave for what we no as Shi No Numa, The Swamp City. Spring of 1946 Shi No Numa They are air dropped in and by chance meet a German scientist who seems to have been doing research for a while. He is named Dr. Edward Richtofen. Dempsey remembers his name from the files at Verruckt and from what "Peter" told him. Dr. Richtofen won't explain why he's there but occasionally slip up. When they open the mystery box they eventually find another energy weapon this time however it seems to be German made. Richtofen sees it and can't help but say," The DG-2 My Greatest invention." He quickly tries to hide it with poor excuses but they don't believe him. Also while surviving the swarm of Imperial Japanese zombies that seem to have risen they meet a group of Zombie dogs. They seem to appear by teleporting into their stronghold. They continue fighting until they find a radio that they try to use to no avail. After a while though they hear another message from "Peter". He says how he discovered where they were taking the volunteers. They took them to a secret research facility near Brauslau called Der Riese. He continues. Eventually when the area was better contained they find "Peter". He tells them all he knows. Mostly what they were researching in Der Reise and where it is. Die Glocke, Teleportation, Energy Weapons like the WunderWaffe DG-2, and Levatation. He never discovered how far they got but their research involve large amounts of Element 115. An element only found in abundance in Meteorites, like the one near the current location. He continues by telling how he was at the asylum. When the power went out he tried to turn it back on but lost his arm. He died shortly after and they made sure he stayed dead. They buried him with the DG-2 and left the area. Late 1946 Der Riese Near Brauslau Germany All four of them arrive via a teleporter discovered elsewhere. When they reach there they are trapped near the Teleporter mainframe. Richtofen tells them they have to reactivate the other teleporters to activate the machine. He tries to cover it up but still continues this cover-up poorly. As they continue to search the facility they find recordings from Dr. Maxis. In these they learn of his Daughter, Samantha, who sounds like the voice from the mystery box. They also discover the source of the Hell hounds. Our Heroes four fight to the death in Der Riese. They discover the source of the zombies and other technology. They fight for whatever the truth is in this base. They fight till they are over run and die. Or do they?

Verruckt connection? Is one of the marines "Tank" Dempsey
Jakman217 replied to Jakman217's topic in World At War
Technically, yes. However there is still no evidence against it either, so it is still plausible. -
They may have meant the multiplayer maps that came with the zombie maps that no one really cares about. Mostly just to save them the work on something that isn't Zombies.

Verruckt connection? Is one of the marines "Tank" Dempsey
Jakman217 replied to Jakman217's topic in World At War
I understand what your saying but I'm not really talking about the voices but the dialogue. Like in Verruckt the marine says "Try not to bleed on me!" While Dempsey says in the same situation,"You just got dead flesh on my new boots!" And also both have a discrepancy for shotties. In Verruckt you pick up a shot gun and he says,"I got a shotgun!" Or something along the lines of gutting them. When Dempsey gets one he says,"Nothing Says i love you quite like a shotgun." or something about tearing them to pieces. While NOT the same they are very similar. Also the use of similar words like Maggotbag, Maggotwhore, and Freakbag the most commonly heard and all very similar. Also the voice change could be due to simple age or whatever. Also he speaks more in later maps because after the first near death situation against zombies why not yell more ferociously and bravely, and possibly because he became a character with a name. -
Verruckt connection? Is one of the marines "Tank" Dempsey
Jakman217 replied to Jakman217's topic in World At War
Peter was mentioned by me as to why he suspects Richtofen and besides other locations have added to the information that peter isn't the Tank. Also I remembered that on Der Riese that he occasionally starts the match by saying," We need to turn the power on, how original." Like he had to do it before. I think He was at Verruckt as one of the unnamed marines. -
I just got Verruckt completing the DLC trilogy of NZ and I have been listening to the marine you play. Every thing he says is oddly familiar to a later character, "Tank" Dempsey. This is how I'm seeing it. NDU occurs but is passed by and they send another group to investigate after the loss of the flight crew. This group ends up in Verruckt and when the power goes out and it all goes to hell. All except one escape alive with the story and information that leads to Shi No Numa. This Marine that escapes barely is the "Tank". My reasoning to this is that when you look at the mission start of Verruckt. The date is September, 1945. "Tank" is said to have become a hero in the Pacific war but between the end of the war and September is more than enough time to get him to germany. And after the mysterious events of NDU they probably had evidence that pointed to something worthy of the Tank's reputation. Also note that in later maps we here the message that the Asylum was over run NOT that all the men died. Another thing is why is Tank the only one who suspects Richtofen of anything. Is it because he found a connection to him from Peter or perhaps an old experiment file. Also note that in SNN and Der Reise it doesn't give a date when you start. So there could be a decent amount of time between Verruckt and the others. I'm not saying a unGodly long time but maybe a year or so? This could explain the change in the Tank between Verruckt and SNN. Maybe? If this Theory was discussed on the old site or I missed something like something saying the team of Verruckt died please correct me. And remember this is just my theory. Edit: Another thing I add to this theory. Maybe Verruckt is where Nikolia comes in. Everyone knows that us and the Soviets weren't buddy buddy, so why is there a Russian there. In Nikolai's Bio it says he was a radical communist who was in competition with Stalin. They got rid of him by putting him on the front line for the whole war. This means that he would have probably been near Berlin where Verruckt is. Maybe Nikolai and Dempsey met there at some point before they were overrun and forced to escape. This could be why Nikolai is there. Maybe?

I think you have something because if my memory serves right in one of the GKNOVA6 files it said something about some poison gas they made or something. Maybe it is now PART of GK only now they are combined with other groups and organizations(Group 935 and Illuminati? perhaps) Maybe the gas and E115 were combined or E115 was made into a gas or something. Then again this could be just my shot in the wind.
-
Maybe IG is the predecessor to GK. Only now the have combined with group 935 and have changed sides, from Nazi to whatever it is now(American?). After all don't some of the GKNOVA6 files talk about some gas they made?
