Have you tried the pigeon cipher on this? Regards Snake. Why would you use a pigeon cipher on that text? I guess the masonic emblem under it could point out to a pigpen cipher, except that there isn't a single symbol from the pigpen cipher lol

A whois search showed that they do not have the same hosts. I'm 100% sure it doesn't have anything to do with this, especially considering that all those numbers are isotopes of Xenon, which is known to released in large quantities after a nuclear reaction (That's how they were able to confirm that North Korea tested atomic bombs, there was some radioactive Xenon all over the sky)

Thanks for the credit When I was in the archives looking for stuff, I saw lots of references to Operation Paperclip, some even in the IG Farben microfilm. Your theory makes lotsa sense :)

mold... hmmmmm. mold.... spores, maybe? in one of the live drop documents, it talked about someone (presumably SOG) finding dispersion canisters with a virus mixed in with the gas. so perhaps they were experimenting with viruses or spores to spread something? There were other words in italic both in the original and on the picture As for the punch cards, it's not that easy LOL... First of all, I have no idea how those things work, I was born like 10 years after they stopped being used, and even then, I don't think any computer exists that takes those cards...
-
There was already a post on that, but the book picture is the first page from the book "The Catche in the Rye". That table is actually a computer punch card, from what I hear there were 2 actual cards and one printed on paper. The last one refers to the microfilm of the IG Farben trial at the end of the war, and roll 78 is about Karl Wurster. There is a lot more information here: viewtopic.php?f=16&t=1064&

There is another forum post about this: viewtopic.php?f=16&t=1064

There is also the first page of the book "The Catcher in the Rye". The word "mold" is in itallic for no apparent reason, however it is the same in the original book too.
-
Only problem is there isn't anything punched...

There was a picture where it was written "microcopy 892, roll 78" which refers to the Carl Krauch et al trial, which was also named the IG Farben Trial. IG Farben was a chemical manufacturer between 1925 and 1952. The most interesting part however is their logo: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/e ... 01.svg.png Doesn't that look a bit like the Gk logo? They also owned the patent to the Zyklon B gas, which was used in the concentration camps. I will let you guys imagine what this means... Now on to roll 78 in that microcopy, it refers to a von Schnitzler Wurster, however I was not able to find any records of him anywhere else. I however found a Carl Wurster who was in the IG Farben trial. He was the lead of the Inorganic division and worked on the Zyklon B gas. I hope this helps As for the other pictures, lots of them seem to be related to IG Farben, which was also implicated in a Cartel with the USA (Why a lot of them are in english). I am still finding stuff, but this what I found up to now. A German chemical manufacturer with a logo almost the same as Gk...

Mikeh, I'm sorry if I did something wrong, but what are spoilers?

Things that might help (Or add even more to the ciphering): http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv28 ... 92_004.jpg http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv28 ... 92_010.jpg LOL that "weird table" I was talking about is actually a computer punch card... Probably doesn't helo much anyway
-
You can download all the documents here: http://www.mediafire.com/?1vxvu67uy6ipxsa Alright, well in one of the pictures there was a weird table which probably helps with the deciphering, but on top of that there was something written:"Windows2saturday". It might be the key phrase for whichever cipher was used for that. Also, there is a logo which looks like the Gk one, except it's a G with an I instead of a K

How was COD4 more original? Modernwarfare theme or something else? IW really only built upon what Treyarch had done as far as multiplayer goes I really don't want to start a flame war or anything on this, but IW are the ones who started the whole thing, and Treyarch simply modified the engine. I don't mean to say that Treyarch sucks, they are very talented developers, but they shouldn't have all the credit.

Nothing beats COD2... The graphics were shitty, the guns ALL sucked, the maps were awesome, the campaign was certainly the longest (There were like 20 missions if I remember). The eXtreme mod on PC was incredible, you could even add trip wires! Also, there wasn't any create a class or noobtubes, so it was fair for everyone, we all had the same guns.

Tunguska was a meteorite crashing into the ground, not exploding over it. You can just look at pictures and see that huge crater.

Interesting thing I found in Black Ops Remix Trailer!
agaguk replied to HotShotCodz's topic in Black Ops
Hanoi was the capital of North Vietnam (I'm pretty sure it still is, forgive my ignorance, I like history, not the present or future ). That might be where they kept some prisoners and you must rescue them or something. That's what I think! -
Well there's that thing about UVB-76 in Russia too, no one knows what's the point of it, and it's a single tone that gets played every I think second. Here's the wikipedia article. It's pretty interesting: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UVB-76

You sure did lol. I remembered I had seen an actionscript decompiler and I said why not... Triixster, I could've posted the other parts, but it would've been very long and very few people could have understood. I posted a link to the text file with the whole thing, go ahead and check it out if you want.

I will keep looking if I can find the meaning to those letters. TopFighter, thanks for checking that. It confuses me a bit because it has a completely different code than all the other transmissions, yet it achieves the same purpose. I will look into that too As for all those letters and numbers, that's nothing: There's a total of about 3000 lines of code into that whole thing. About 99% of that is completely useless to us, and that other 1% is very, very well camouflaged :)

I analyzed the actionscript for the gknova6 website. You can get it here. Here are all the interesting things I found: First of all there are about 200 lines of code simply to adjust the color/contrast/hue settings. Perhaps we should try viewing the website with different settings. There are a lot of mathematical operations in the code, which I personally have no idea why they are there. Here are the most interesting lines I could find. Perhaps we can do something with those numbers: return v1 * Math.pow(2, -10 * t) * Math.sin((t * d - v5) * 6.283185307179586 / v3) + c + b; } v5 = (v3 / 6.283185307179586) * Math.asin(c / v1); return v1 * Math.pow(2, -10 * t) * Math.sin((t * d - v5) * 6.283185307179586 / v3) + c + b; if (!v1 || v1 v1 = c; v5 = v3 / 4; } else { v5 = (v3 / 6.283185307179586) * Math.asin(c / v1); if (t t -= 1; return -0.5 * (v1 * Math.pow(2, 10 * t) * Math.sin((t * d - v5) * 6.283185307179586 / v3)) + b; } t -= 1; return v1 * Math.pow(2, -10 * t) * Math.sin((t * d - v5) * 6.283185307179586 / v3) * 0.5 + c + b; }; I have reasons to believe that those are just to position the different objects, since it appears that from the way this was coded, no GUI was used, it was all written from the ground up. I also found a call for the file Main_TV_2.flv, which can be obtained at http://www.gknova6.com/Main_TV_2.flv Even though it looks like the (second?) transmission, it looks like it's longer. There is no sound unfortunately. That's all I found for the moment, I will keep looking.

It looks like that would be very possible... You can get the whole actionscript in a text file here: http://kamdg.synthasite.com/resources/station.txt
-
I was getting tired of editing my first post so I hope you don't mind me making another post. I checked the transmission7.mp3 file and it's simply the audio file for the room after the password. Sorry for the inconvenience
-
Alright, well I ran a quick search on google using site:gknova6.com and I got this: http://gknova6.com/password.php as well as that: http://gknova6.com/jfk/ I also extracted the actionscript from "station.swf" which appears to be the main file. The only problem I'm having is that it appears that it's a mix of javascript and flash, which makes it much harder to read. The fact that there is only one password on that page confirms that there's no "secret password" or anything of the kind. Only thing that confuses me is that it's not the same password... I tried entering that one but it didnt accept it Edit once again: I looked at the action script code, and their is a "week 7". I will find a place to host all the text, as it's too long to post on the forums (It's a 118 kb file, which means around 120 000 characters). As soon as I find a spot, I will upload it. Here's the string of code that shows it (It can be seen at a few other places, but this one says the file name ) week7_sound.loadSound('transmission7.mp3', false); week7_sound.onSoundComplete = function () { week7_sound.start(0, 999);

was there a different copy where you could already play zombies? On PC if you joined a co-op server with zombies it would unlock them. I never even completed the campaign lol. Maybe that's what he meant
