thats the same link i posted earlier, just never took the time to figure out how to embed it like that. I really like that how they brought back the "newby" lobbies from Waw. In this one they have you on the MP maps against AI instead of just being in the lobby until rank 10 I want to call in sick to work for a month straight when this game is released, lol

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fqwLMzYcFV8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KOyxs7gUdPAI Hutch's tdm gameplay, I'm liking this game more and more already. I don't see a timer, but he says it is unlimited time range, should reallyl have a timer I think. Plus, it looks not that easy to control(sensitivity settings?) edit: youtube is becoming quite full of all the new vids that people are putting up, seen quite a few by hutch, seananners and a few others already. those ffa game modes look quite fun. also, the idea that you buy your stuff now instead of ranking up to unlock, that looks like things that they have in Quantum of Solace multiplayer.

GL doesn't ruin the game completely at all, well maybe for those who are complaining about it, lol. In my opinion, it isn't the GL that has some people upset, it is the combination of it and scavenger/oma in mw2 that made it so popular. Hopefully, treyarch will do something like they did in Waw with the GL as an attachment only on specific guns, and/or as in cod4 that it takes up perk1. GL's shouldn't be taken out, just make it so that to use it, you have to give up a bit more as a trade off. so attachments I would like to see? bayonet - so you can get your commando on rds/holographic - I want my smiley face, wonder what else you can put on there fmj GL - see above comment suppressor acog masterkey - it's the spaz jr attachment rapid fire/doubletap - sure, why not attachments to not include: hbs and thermal

here are some alternatives for you: 1. $$$$$ 2. CASH-MONEY 3. PIMP 4. PLAYA 5. Double-Down 6. 24's 7. GQ 8. OG lulz, these were all jokes relating to "bling", the only one I would consider is #5.

I play barebones about half the time I am on mw2 and I can safely say that it is not boring, hardly any "camping" going on, full of action. I guess the discussion can be looked at from both sides. will people "camp" because of no uav? in reality, people who camp often are going to camp no matter what the condition. will people move around more because of no kill streak rewards? I tend to think this is what happens more often than not, and in fact this is what I see most often. I think people will move around more because of two reasons: 1. you no longer have to worry about airsupport crushing your team so you no longer have to wait or hide until it leaves(especially true for those who don't have cold blooded and stingers unlocked) 2. since you can no longer get airsupport by hiding and trying to ambush people, then you no longer have an incentive to behave this way and boredom would set in just waiting in a corner. I can honestly say, in regular core mode, I tend to play more defensively, while in barebones I'll play a good bit more aggresively now as far as what format should be for core mode, I like the idea of customizable kill streak rewards, and prefer the idea of kills from killstreaks NOT counting towards your next kill streak reward. I think you should be rewarded for something that you do, not something that the game does for you.

I think that either cod2 or 4 was the hardest to complete on veteran. the closer to the end of the game I got, the madder I became. Waw was tough, mw2 a little challenging, but those other 2... lol. Because treyarch has a lot more people devoted to developing this game, not only do I hope that the SP game is more challenging that mw2, but I also hope it is much longer.

around 2:35 he confirms the "dive to prone" mechanics and what it does. Thankfully you are not able to shoot while doing it and also have to wait for a "recovery" time before you can shoot again.

Midnight Release Playdate thingamabober (US/xbox 360)
flipitj replied to RedDeadRiot's topic in Black Ops
I'll buy the game after work, take it home and plug it in for about 30 min, just enough time to annoy my wife before we eat dinner. Hopefully she will have a tv show or homework or something else to do the rest of the evening. so maybe about 1 hour total the first day. Then I call in sick to work the next day, "... hello, I don't feel soo goood......" -
just do a search on youtube for Sandy Ravage, he has many of those booster justice games. Also look at Runawayfive, he has a few that are hilarious.
-
boosting did not begin with tactical insertions(TI). TI's only made it soooo much easier and faster to do it, not that I am condoning it or anything. IW really should have left cage match in so boosters wouldn't infect the other gametypes so much. Not that I am saying boosting is ok or anything, but anytime you have an online multiplayer game with a reward system, people are going to boost to get those rewards with the least amount of effort used. Frankly, I don't really care if people boost, just as long as they don't do it in the game I am in.

I wouldn't believe anything until it has been officially announced by the developers
-
I seen what you are talking about, look at the link I put in my first post in this thread, that guy R0klobster did a slow-mo breakdown of it and he says the same thing
-
then that would explain why there is no gore in the multiplayer trailer as well ah the good times of watching the killcam and seeing myself get a leg blown off by a 'betty...
-
Another thing, notice that on the minimaps, coordinates shows up as C3, D3, D4, D5, take a closer look at that, coordinates to help with tactics?

Hello Everyone, my name is J sound familiar? now say that with Seananner's voice, lulz. I have been watching too many youtube videos lately(since the internet zombies blocked xbox forums but not youtube, go figure) and watched a few of his today. Now on to me, most people call me James or J for short, I am an avid gamer and a little lazy at times, which explains why I only now started frequenting this site. I have to give a round of props(you know, the one where you bump fists) to the guy that put this site together. Now on back to some more vids and maybe I'll get some work done today.

sounds like a pretty steep price to pay an extra $40 if all you want are the extra maps. I'll stick to getting the cheapest edition and paying some MS points and buying the dlc that way.
-
Someone has already done a pretty good slo-mo breakdown of the video, should help visualize what the OP is pointing out: http://www.youtube.com/watch#!v=UeDf4FO ... eature=sub

Here is another pretty good analysis of the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch#!v=UeDf4FO ... eature=sub

Just watched the vid on youtube, can't wait for release!

It is their way of generating interest by building suspense. Goes right along with the theme in this game of how a lot of stuff is secretive.
-
can't see buying another theme. The only time I ever see it is when I am at the dashboard which is very brief. **edit** what I wish I could do is get rid of that stupid grey blob that you see when you load your own person background on the xbox dashboard**
