on that same note, on the xbox console dashboard, MS advertised a zombie hat for your avatar that you get free with signing up for 12 month or 24 month gold service. you have to sign up for it using that link on the dashboard to get the free avatar. Not that I need to get an extension on my service, just throwing that out there in case someone was about due to renew and was looking at avatar stuff.

is there a youtube link? for some weird reason, I can't look at gaming sites(other than cods, lol) but I can get on youtube all day long. stupid webfilter

I could care less what model of shotgun is included in the game, just as long as they are not "akimbo". In fact, I rather like using the model 1887 as a single shotgun. But dual-wielded shotguns is way over the top, just say no to akimbo shotguns.

site says I won 100 MSP I hardly ever win anything, at least it isn't an appetizer for some restaurant, lol

Black Ops in 3D Frequently Asked Questions and Answers
flipitj replied to carbonfibah's topic in Black Ops
Awesome that the game will be in 3D, but it sucks that I won't have 3d in my house for a long time. Technology is too expensive and also, I don't really want to get a 3d set until they improve the technology so that you no longer need glasses to view it. -
he says that the 3d is an option that you can turn off or on depending if you have a 3d tv or not, that this feature is something that comes with the game, go to about 1 min into the video and that is where he talks about it
-
so tell me what camo you see at 1:11 in the video? here is a clue: GOLD
-
Ack! I am starting to go into sensory overload... Must... stop... watching and reading... any... new... info!!!
-
um, have you tried proxy avoidance? lol, works for a lot of people that work in the US where most companies use some type of web filter.
-
... Where's the image? +1 the pic did not attach and no link shows up, just the word "Image" at least go back and add the URL for it

people will have to be more careful on where they place something, like putting a turret gun up against a wall facing away from it, on the edge of a cliff facing away from it, etc. will make for some interesting game play
-
lol, best theory yet! seriously though, I always thought that the reload animation for akimbo guns should take at least 2 times as a single gun, if not longer especially for revolver type pistols.

Much as I would like to see EVERYTHING about mp, I like seeing some of it, and then have plenty to be surprised about and discover on my own once I get it
-
I like the "click, swish, tick..... tick.... tick.. tick.. tickticktick... BOOM!!" part of it

Even if I had the money to waste, I still would not buy it. well maybe I would just to annoy my wife, lulz. on the side topic in this thread, I felt that even though the SP is very linear(scripted or whatever you want to call it), there can be things done to improve on it and make it a better experience. I am not talking about specific details such as how the AI might work, or 'nade spam(spam kills), but more along the line of the overall picture. We can keep the scripted stories but let's have them changed up a little. At key points, give the player a decision on which way to go in the game, such as you get the choice of picking a mission(re-playability anyone?), alternate endings. It doesn't have to be an open world type deal like fallout or oblivion, but maybe we could have more choices in the SP. Also, we have difficulty settings: easy, medium, hard, veteran, etc. I will take an idea I saw in diablo. Let's have a hardcore version of SP. Meaning that you get one life, or a limited amount of lives to complete the whole game. don't get me wrong, I highly enjoy the SP games of all the cod editions. It is just that there have been a couple of times I thought that if there were something extra done to SP, then I might want to play it through more than once. Since treyarch is devoting enough people to develop a complete game(SP, MP, all of it) to develop just the SP, then I think that the SP will be better all around.

^this is what usually happens every time an anticipated game is about to be released. There are a few youtubers who are boasting about getting it early, heck even holding contests to give out the game a week early because somehow they are getting several copies early. so yea, someone will get it early and spill the beans all over youtube before the game is released.
-
This That does sound like a pretty good idea.
-
well, if you are as good as Michael Larson, you won't get that second whammy. lulz

oh yea, after reviewing this thread, I think there is one more thing I want to see: limbs-a-flyin' when I blow someone up! seriously, i want the gritty dark gore side of waw included along with the variety in this game. I swear that is all. now pass me another beer!
-
i am probably a little behind the times on what is included in single player, but if gore is there, yesssssssssssssssss
-
aw thanks, someone gave me brains for my jokes, lulz

I can see your points as well. Theoretically, anything should work as designed, but the question is, does it always work as great as we want it to? I am not entirely sure of all systems that are implemented into the xbox 360, but it sounds like that if the 360 doesn't have it already, then putting it into the 360 would be a major change to the OS/firmware on the xbox console and that doing this change is not something that MicroSoft is ready or willing to do at this time(hardware/software/possible licensing issues?) it meaning the MAG system you are referring to If there was anyway possible to include every bell and whistle to make this game that much better for our visual satisfaction, I say go for it, now beer me!
-
blah on pre-order bonuses, just gimme a couple of cold ones and the game already!
-
my reply is more of a generalization about almost anything. What I am saying is that just because something works, doesn't mean that it will work great/well/efficient/bugfree/etc. Take for example, a search algorithm for a database. If you know anything about this, then you will know that while a "bubble" sort will work, it is extremely inefficient. Same principle applies to the next COD game, or really anything for that matter. While having both gore and customizations in the game will work, this doesn't mean that it will run lag free or issue free.(I'm leaning more towards lag issues) now combine those memory problems with the average person's fluctuating bandwidth(2 and 3 bar connections) and you have some nice lag. ok, now beer me!!!
-
Just because it will work does not mean it will work great. Very likely that while it does work and look cool and all, probably have a tendency to lag even in their test environment. If it does it there, just thing what will happen with all the people out there who have 2 or 3 bar connections...
