so today i was on the official CoD:BO forums and i saw a thread that said you need online to do combat training..... WHAT THE FUCK!?!?!?! what the hell is the point of having multiplayer against bots if you need online to do it anyways? i know its supposed to help you get better but bots are different than people. they won't use as many tactics or be as frustrating to play with..... you see, i was REALLY excited when i saw combat training at first, because im not going to have WiFi in my house for a while, and idk if i will have it by the time BO comes out. i was hoping combat training would at least let me have a nice little dip into multiplayer but i guess i was wrong...... and besides, wouldn't it be better to earn skill by playing against OTHER PLAYERS?!?! i mean, i thought combat training would be just an offline UT3 type game. but no.... I guess Zombies and campaign will have to do as of now....... :cry: :cry: :cry: :evil:

hmmmmm......... i have a feeling that if Activison made treyarch spend some time on it, the PS3 would have a better looking 3d. i don't want to start a console war here, but the PS3 is technically programmed for 3d (with the firmware update) and the Xbox isn't. im skeptical about how well it will run or look... it could be great, but it could be somelastminute thing they decided to do.

well if you think about it, the camera spike is just as crippling as it is helpful. it comepletely covers your mini map, so if you get shot at by a sniper rifle or something it will be harder to know where the bullet came from, unless you have a nice headset.

ive seen it, but i thought it was the Der Reise mini map. i could be wrong though.

Problem with that is people will be putting that on their clan tags who aren't from this site, we want one that we can see who is from the site and who isn't... yea i know i was saying it was gonna be a problem cause every HL follower or whatever will put GK... i wasn't saying thats what CoDZ should do :D

where'd you see that lvl 50 is the max level? was it confirmed?

The G11 is the Classified Weapon for the Assault Rifles. It's a Three Round Burst and can be found in a few videos, actually. It's manufactured pretty cool, think of the Barrel IS the Magazine (In a way) i've seen videos of it, but i didn't know it was the classified weapon. thx though.

IMO killstreaks ruined the game. there wouldn't be as many boosters if there was no epic killstreaks. but the rest of them i agree with. i also like the concept of most of the game, they just didn't balance it out enough.

just a thought: maybe a pickup (such as nuke or max ammo) will enable a chopper gunner to come in for a while and the player could control it like a killstreak?!? reality: probably not but it would be cool none the less after thinking about what you just said, i realised, IT WOULD WORK OUT LIKE THAT! just think, you hit the power switch, and a power up shows up for a chopper gunner in the middle of the map. what happens is the whole team runs down there, someone gets the power up, then they go post up somewhere. while the person using the helecopter is left voulnerable on the ground, the rest of the team must protect him! :lol:

just because they are wearing gas masks doesn't prove anything. im not trying to say HL is a hoax, and i don't want to say he isn't. i just find it really interesting. whoever is making these videos is doing a good job, and if it IS a hoax all they are doing is promoting Black Ops anyways. was there ever a Die Wahrnheit part 2?

you can't drop shot while running anymore though. i believe it was Hutch that said if you are running and hold "B" or "O" you will do the dive to prone thing, during which you can not shoot.

David "vahn" has said to get the classified weapons you need to buy all other weapons in that class, and the g11 was not in waw so i dont think the rest will be from WaW the G11 is the classified weapon?

you know what i think would be cool? if the classified weapons in each class were a weapon from WaW!. we know that you have to unlock every gun in that particular class to unlock the classified one, so wouldn't it be cool if for the SMG it was the PPSH or thompson?!? and with the snipers it could be the Springfield or PTRS!. i could be comepletely wrong, but it seems like a cool idea to me [brains] :ugeek:

i think the accepted setting is a hospital. i think it makes sense, but i see what you mean. if you look at the screens thoroughly, you can see the people wearing lab coats running from zombies. i don't want to get my mind set on one idea though, there is still about a month until the game even comes out.

damnit, now i have to wait for freakbags, and knowing that it will be in the game is going to make the wait even longer. its gonna be hard not to think about this. ANYWAYS, i'll be killin' them from day 1, preordered hardened edition to quintuple the zombie fun 8-) 8-) 8-)

well, i think it makes sense that they are doing this. they might have wanted to test it on regular matchmaking and stuff, so thats why they didn't use PartnerNet. plus, a little extra controversy never hurts. [brains]

The game takes place in more areas than Just Vietnam. Russia, Cuba, South America, and others im Sure. There will more than Likely be a Militia Type Faction in Cuba or south America. GASP! Just realized this. WHERE Is Gary Oldman? Wasn't he on the IMDB Page Voicing Reznov. i see him on there.. he is on the top of the list.. but it says (rumoured) so idk :?

maybe if you have a 50 inch Bravia or something. what REALLY sucked is when betties were in shallow water.... i had Bomb Squad in probably every single one of my WaW classes cause of it. it was kind of overused IMO
