  1. Hey awesome! Welcome to CoDz and yes your designs are epic!
  2. Nah mate he isnt spamming. 880cloud800 misspelled Josh Olin's name to "Josh Olson". XD
  3. I wouldnt think so, its not like any of the fans are being blocked. I can understand a little extra heat coming from the light, but not much considering the fans will keep it cool. :P
  4. dammit, i just realised this could easily be in for the PC...sorry im tired its like 00:00 am here...
  5. Ya it does. Taking the PS3 apart in anyway voids the warranty. The only thing that doesn't is replacing/upgrading the hard drive. yea i know it does. was saying i don't think i could do that because it does void the warranty and i think i'd rather have the warranty in case the ps3 breaks. My bad sorry about that.
  6. who's to say it wasn't in the works the whole time?? zombies was and they just released it. they'll be releasing little pieces of info all the way till 11-9. it's keeping the community engaged and creating a hype. much like the "shortage" of hardened edition versions of the game in areas. this is to get ppl to buy the prestige edition for those maps (not to say it's working but i'd bet thats what theyr doing) Perhaps, but I cant see it in the game to be honest. Perhaps not Black Ops, possibly in a future CoD.
  7. Besides, having a map editor would have to have been one of the ideas for the game in the concept before they even starting making the game. Halfway through a game its rare that game devs ever add any extra features unless they are really small and easy to implement within a few hours. Plus considering the multiplayer reveal was on September 1st, i would expect Treyarch to have revealed it then, or VERY shortly after. They could even have announced it when they announced 3D but they didnt therefore I think a map editor is definitley not in the game.

  9. Ok, so a guy by the name of Javier Riquelme (Jriquelme) makes PS3 mods. He did one recently for a Bad Company 2 PS3. Now he has done a Black Ops PS3. What do you think? Pictures and videos below. In my opinion. i think it looks AWESOME. Looks good enought to be an official PS3 slim version. The light up logo really is the iceing on the cake. Sauce to PS3news.com. Here is teh sauce http://www.ps3news.com/PS3-Hacks/video- ... ition-mod/ i3dr7PI_r6M
  10. er in beefoar teh blokcz?
  11. Already answered this question on your similar post in the 3D FAQ topic. Here it is again. Alot more advance. I think the game you are talking about is Sly Cooper. It uses the Red/Cyan anaglyph 3D that were really big in the 60's-90's (i think, im not nearly old enough to give accurate feedback on that lol). They had one red lens the right and a cyan (light blue) colour on the left. It didnt require any special sort of TV's to play it. This 3D technology requires special TV's which cost like over £1000 (uk), im not sure as to how much in the US. But they use special "active shutter glasses". The video on the screen is shown at 120fps (frames per second) but the right eye and the left eye images flash after each other. The glasses "active shutter" technology flashes at 60 fps which filters which image goes into which eye to give it the 3D effect. [brains]

  13. I also want to add, that the gameplay of WaW, (zombies at least), look like they were initially designed for 3D. I used this 3rd party software called iz3d drivers and you can use different types of 3D, anaglyph, (red/cyan) (amber/blue) (green/blue i think), and also active shutter and many other types. It works in 3D as well especially when you play in slow motion (all this is PC specific btw), you can see the empty casing come out of the gun towards you and go right past your monitor and the zombie guts fly all over you it is awesome. I think they may have had plans to do WaW in 3D aswell but changed there minds. Another thing is that, i know the 360's GPU has enough power to run 3D games but doesnt have any games supporting it yet. Although i dont own one im still curious as to how the 360 will implement 3D, for example, a firmware update recently on the PS3 allowed games to be played in 3D. Is this how it will work on the 360? (assuming black ops will be in 3D on the 360). super hyper right now
  14. Wow, i though because Activision have a deal with Microsoft that they wouldnt be supporting anything Sony related which includes 3D. Looks like it will now, awesome. Now for some Move support? lol i kid i kid
  15. Thanks all for voting appreciate it

  19. As title pretty much... On http://www.treyarch.com/ bottom right corner it says this: # FEATURED JOB: # Senior Game Lighter CA - Santa Monica # The applicant should have a passion for making games, with a focus on lighting character and environments for a triple A, first person shooter. So does this mean a new COD game is in the works? Discuss...
  20. good post. Fortunately i had'nt seen it yet but im sure others might have considering it was posted on the 14th September. Ill embed it for you. U6xL-hK8pcE
  21. "You got a PSG-1? You can use that against Sniper Wolf. Hurry up, and save Meryl!"
  22. wow awesome. Thank you kind sir for your nomination. I was very surprised when i saw my name on the nominations list. May i ask, why you nominated me though please? Im very gratefull. :D
  23. woah, okay first thing that paragraph is very hard to read because there are not any separate paragraphs can you please break it up? Also, ill be willing to try this trick as i have WaW on teh PC'z and i can use mods to get loads of money and get the mystery box in the place i think you mean. This will make it alot easier than my PS3 version. Ill be willing to try this said "glitch".
  24. To add to my comment before, i think we should put it on if people on CoDz get together for a clan war or clan team deathmatch or any other game modes to show we are a community. Also the design should be exactly the same for CoDz. Of course i want to experiment too and have my own unique CT. Im sure I can manipulate some of the preset images to look like mah wolfy . Im awesome in Photoshop, lets see what i can do with teh editor. I think if people are thinking of sharing clan tags, Treyarch should implement some "ct sending" function so somebody can use the exact design and/or edit it slightly if friends are trying to edit and improve to make the perfect CT for them. Awesome comment is awesome yes? :D
  25. That idea is teh secks! +1
