  1. The very thought of it being called Black Ops 2, seeing as Black Ops was World at War's successor, was strange. I haven't called Treyarch's game Black Ops 2. But Eclipse, it's different, as it title at least. It has been discussed before, the title being Eclipse, as early as March to my understanding. Aside from the astrological meaning eclipse could mean a reduction or loss of splendor, status, reputation, etc. In relation to the campaign this could be referring to Mason and his situation.
  2. You could probably tell if the picture wasn't taken with glare and at such an obscure angle.
  3. What effect would the crystals have on zombies that makes it a Wonder Weapon? And why is it called Frozen Delight and later Death Freeze if it has nothing to do with cold? I'd imagine that anything that had to do with lightning would be extreme heat. What I'm getting from this is that it is simply a shotgun that shoots crystals. PaP'd it could somehow deliver the effect of the Wunderwaffe DG-2 to each individual zombie but not arc between them like the DG-2 does.
  4. Corners, my friend. If your being chased around a corner remember that you pursuer cannot see around it, double back and catch him off guard. Doubling back is a deceptive practice guaranteed to give you an advantage. An opponent sees you going one way and more often than not he will anticipate your movement and go that way. For example you run behind a truck with an enemy coming for you at an angle perpendicular to the trucks broadside. Now I would just blow up the truck but your average player will anticipate your movement and follow you to the front of the truck. You appear from the rear and you have the jump on him. You're being followed through the corridor on Lockdown. You can run its full length and turn around once you get around the corner. Know the spawn points. I'm not too keen on TDM, maybe it's the same, but when you're playing FFA an enemy will seldom spawn a distance from you. Knowing where the enemy team spawns can help you avoid what may be a barrage of semtex and flashbangs; to avoid that you may want to employ the use of the trophy system, a dandy tool that can take predator missiles, rpgs, special grenades, and conventional grenades out of the sky as well as defend you from stealth bombers. Another thing to watch out for is the typical camping spots. In MW3 there are nooks and crannies in every part of the map that can foster campers. Don't give them free kills. As has been said, know and check your lines of sight as you move from cover to cover. There just might be an enemy coming down that corridor and he is already in your sights.
  5. Any shotgun, aside from the Striker. I don't use that on principle. Every other shotgun I have gold or nearing gold. My personal favorite is the Model 1887 seeing as I have the most kills with it out of any weapon in the game.
  6. I understand it means something to you, being on the leaderboards, but I'll never understand why it means something. Why doesn't the gratification of reaching such high levels serve itself? Why must it go hand in hand with seeing your name on the leaderboard?
  7. I have to agree with you. There haven't been many other World War II since. People say there have been many WWII games since World at War but there have not been any notable ones. There will be BiA:F4 in the latter part of this year but from the looks of it, it won't be dealing with the subject matter in a serious manner akin to its predecessors and World at War. Something over the top like Bulletstorm. Also a new WWII game from Treyarch couldn't be connected to the story and characters from World at War unless it was a prequel of sorts or include some other battles from other theaters; World at War gave us the final days of WWII.
  8. I did this more in Black Ops and MW2 than in World at War with the M1911 and .44 Magnum respectively. However, in World at War I did from time to time use the Nambu.
  9. How can you not like the first three maps for additions that were added after they were developed? How can you not like the first three maps?
  10. I still play that and would like to corroborate ZotD's numbers. I also still play World at War, only about 3,000 people, at the most, online.
  11. The problem with Survival Mode is that it lacks the depth you all miss when comparing it to zombies. Characters; they could have used Sandman and his squad and I would have been happier. They could have used that to flesh out those characters that came out of absolutely nowhere in the campaign. I was actually expecting it on some level when Sandman was left behind with Grinch and Truck in the diamond mine. The survival maps being copy pasta of the multiplayer ones didn't seem quite right. Two players as opposed to four is in the spirit of Spec Ops was okay but Survival Mode is different than the typical "kill this many guys". A lack of wunder waffes and easter eggs is understandable, considering the nature of the game. I clocked in many hours in Survival mode but comparing it to zombies just detracts from its allure and luster making it look lackluster.
  12. I will not post Joe's opinions as opposed to my own. Camping.
  13. CoD1: Not sure of the name; you're riding in a car with Sgt. Moody. MW: All Ghilied Up World at War: Black Cats MW2: Whiskey Hotel Black Ops: Vorkuta
  14. I don't hate HC. Maybe if you had some self control and could restrain yourself from team killing, you would like it.
  15. The player being chased can circumnavigate the catwalk and the other three can shoot the thief without blocking the chased player.

    Best LMG?

The RPK is by far the best LMG.
  17. The video makes it seem like IW was practically shoving the fact that Ghost is alive in our faces. But if your incapacitated and on fire, even a fireproof vest isn't enough.
  18. It's funny how years ago we we're able to enjoy 8-bit games.
  19. I was going to say that... :x
  20. That's not the subway. Looks to be a flooded version of the Holland tunnel in New York.
  21. I just checked my email in the eleventh hour, as I was going to buy the maps on PSN, and the redemption code for First Strike has been sitting in my email for nearly half the day. Apparently I signed up for it some time ago; the Surprise Attack sweepstakes I'm guessing. Had anyone else won the maps in the same fashion?
  22. Would that work like the death machine. Near instant kills, time constraints, etc?
  23. The whole lobby in 'One in the Chamber' united against me. I still won.
