  1. [soundcloud]http://soundcloud.com/ccm404/black-ops-2-reverse[/soundcloud] This is the audio in reverse. It's on soundcloud. I can't hear anything from it really...
  2. They are helping us maybe the voice is the clue, SOMEONE REVERSE THE VOICE!, lol I feel like i'm in National Treasure! Already on the reversing job... *opens up audacity* :P
  3. I thought the Black Ops Prestige edition was WONDERFUL. If you do get it, I would get it on Amazon, because usually they have little extras. Just saying, Shapeshifter I know GAME (A British Gaming Shop) does really funky stuff if you pre-order. For MW3 I got Double XP, A Neat Background for my PS3 and a load of concept art cards which are pinned around my room :)
  4. Credit to RoflWaffles... wYQHpGcrZ5U
  5. Could also be an updated version of these bad boys...
  6. Reapers are fired from an aircraft that size. UAV, Predator Drone, Reaper Drone. All the same thing. It's an Air Drone. I know it.
  7. Personally, I think it's way too unclear an image to determine a particular model from it. I dunno.
  8. Only on February 26, 1973, during testimony before the United States House Committee on Appropriations, did the U.S. military officially confirm that they had been utilizing UAVs in Southeast Asia (Vietnam).[9] While over 5,000 U.S. airmen had been killed and over 1,000 more were either missing in action (MIA), or captured (prisoners of war/POW); the USAF 100th Strategic Reconnaissance Wing had flown approximately 3,435 UAV missions during the war,[10] at a cost of about 554 UAVs lost to all causes. In the words of USAF General George S. Brown, Commander, Air Force Systems Command in 1972, "The only reason we need (UAVs) is that we don't want to needlessly expend the man in the cockpit." The first use of UAV's was in the Vietnam war. That's the earliest time-frame we're working with here.
  9. To me it looks like either an unmanned drone or a missile with wings... Whatever it is, it's really small, so it isn't manned. This picture of an unmanned drone backs up my point. The two resemble eachother very much. (Just incase the image doesn't work)
  10. For CoD4 > Black Ops I just got the normal versions, but for MW3 I decided to pick up the Hardened Edition. Really pleased with the little extras and the Elite stuff, so i'll try and step it up a notch to the Prestige this year. Depends what comes with it really.
  11. Personally, I'd like more... creativity. More fun! Maps that are as colourful as Nuketown work great, because they make a nice change from grey, and brown. I have an idea for camouflages. Instead of having set camos, you have a selection of patterns to choose from, and then you ajust the colours to whatever you like. That'd be great!
  12. I doubt it'll be a full reveal, but I do expect some sort of preview. A little hint of something.
  13. We could try adding each latitude line number together or some thing like that But that would make the numbers bigger :/ I think Long Lat is the right track, but there's more work to be done here.
  14. OK. These ARE longitude and latitude references. This is the Long Lat point for Tacitus Street (It's just what I searched) 39.017479,-122.067612 Then THIS is one of the codes we're given. 34.84e56c,-c4e.271b662d1 They look pretty similar. Using Covert's translations, we get this sort of thing. 34.845563,-345.271266241 The Latitude points are correct. But the problem is that with longitude points, the first points (-345.271266241) Those bits have to be between -180 and 180. but they aren't. Only one set of points works as it is. 34.345762,-163.264106541 This leads to a spot in the North Pacific, just to the right of Japan. Enter the Long Lat codes into this site to get a good idea of where it is. http://www.itouchmap.com/latlong.html That's as far as I've gone. I think those are definitely Longitude + Latitude co-ordinates, but we need to find out how to make them work properly.
  15. Whatever happened to CoDZ Chat?
  16. Posted already I'm afraid, but good job on keeping your eyes peeled Okay, so the Offsprey was in the image. Perhaps we now have an 80s timeframe, or perhaps they're reusing MW3 things. Anyone know if this is the same model used in MW3? If not we may have a timeframe for BOps2! Offtopic: With all the sudden hype, and all the information needing to be processed, is there any chance of opening an external chat site so we can all discuss together? I know there are plenty of places to do it, and we could put a link to it in the announcements section so people could see it. Let me know what you think -Jolteon -Jolteon Could get a few people on skype or something, or vent...they both have voice and text. Although, that would only be like 4-5 people right? My Skype's in my signature... so... yeah... Add Me at your leisure! Just make sure I know who you are!
  17. It means Tacitus.com is the name of a real life company who's re-launch has collided horribly with the BO2 Viral Campaign leading many people to believe they are linked with Treyarch. That phrase is their confirmation. After getting tonnes of emails and such-like the guy who runs it is trying to shout out that his business is nothing to do with Black Ops 2.
  18. If the pattern from last night is anything to go by, keep checking over the next hour or so. It'll update soon...
  19. Something I should probably point out is that this early on in multiplayer development, they're going to be pulling in textures and models and sounds and such like from all over the shop. Whether it be previous Treyarch games or IW games. Although the leaked pictures of the Quad-Rotor are really cool, don't expect to get that when you play the game in November. The change between now and then is going to be phenomenal.
  20. Um. OK. What is that? Is that an external picture of is it supposedly from BO2?
  21. Damn U interwebz Y U NO SHOW what Liam Haz posted :x
  22. All CoD Related sites are registered with MARKMONITER INC and the tacitusproject.com website is registered to FastDomain and was created Today so it is not an official site So we got a joker taking us for a ride. Hmmm. -_-
  23. Now THAT'S more like it. The Tacitus Project... It's a project now. Hmmm. We've had the Giant Project, now the Tacitus Project. I think this is another hint that Tacitus is an organisation, or cult of some sort. Possibly the remnants of 935 reforming? Something like that? tacitusproject.com
  24. OFFICIAL CONFIRMATION! tacitus.com has updated. Text at the bottom of the screen reads:
