ccm404e replied to Strwrsbob's topic in General Discussion
Is there even a reveal for today, the 25th? Yes. I remember seeing one for the 25th. As far as i'm aware, there is one every day up to 1st of May EDIT: Although it, along with the 27th, seem to have gone now... -

One bit of conclusive BO2 evidence... Telixion noticed the loading wheel has Morse code on it. It translates to BO2. But yeah, I feel we've gone as far as we can with the info we've been given. We just have to wait for the next reveal, which if yesterday was anything to go by, will be around 10 or 11 pm gmt. -

Official CallOFDuty.com BO2 Viral thread - UPDATE 7
ccm404e replied to Strwrsbob's topic in General Discussion
There was Death Machine in Black Ops so the quadrotor doesn't mean it actually will be set in the near future. I sure hope it doesn't. Then I have seen this fuzz about campaign having zombies and all that well that would be even more stupid plot. I believe that Black Ops 2 will continue from the scene where Mason is looking at Kennedy and then suddenly the number broadcast starts again. Hinting that Rusalka ship wasn't the only numbers station. So Mason maybe kills Kennedy like Dragovich had planned. Or some one stops him doing it for example Hudson. Then CIA starts the hunting of Hudson, Mason and Weaver. They on the other hand might try to look for Woods and Reznov. And this whole thing ties some how to this Tacitus weapons manufacturer. Isn't there that... Operation Charyblis... or something like that? It was written about in the BO Intel. -

Personally, i think the main reason people still think tacitus.com is related is because of how much of a coincidence the whole re-vamping of it is. I mean, they revamp the site on the exact day that the black ops 2 viral goes up? I can see why people would find it hard to ignore that. I mean, FPS Russia saying it has nothing to do with anything is pretty conclusive evidence. Really, I think Tacitus us going to be an Apeture Science style thing. Developing future weapons and technology. But then the qeustion comes is what the date the game is set will be. If they're implementing experimental Quad Rotors, then the game must be set in the near future. If so, then how on earth can this be a direct sequel to Black Ops? This is really starting to confuse me... -

What PST is in GTM? Yes I'm too lazy to google it. 10. That's about an hour my friend. Just hover and keep refreshing the page. It'll happen soon. -
Personally, my favourite map out of all of them is Shangri-La. It's challenging, and fun at the same time. But I think my favourite thing about it is the theming. Zombies... In Paradise? Mental eh?

Howard Coale is a real person though, this is his company that has been around for a very long time, this is him: http://www.linkedin.com/in/coale he's just a business man, I don't think he's related. I've seen it, brother. I get that this guy may just be a failed innovator that tried to do something magnificent and didn't succeed, whose dreams were revitalized by this miracle viral. This may have saved his career. Shoot, I'm sure Mr. Coale himself plays his fair share of video games. But here is something I found: Tacitus is licensed under Howard Coale, while Coale himself is currently employed to Sapient according to his LinkedIn page. Guess what company is Activision's digital marketing agency? Sapient. Moreover, Sapient actually helped Activision advertise and launch Modern Warfare 3. http://www.adweek.com/news/advertising- ... hip-133455 I am beginning to see a connection here. Now THAT'S more like it!!!

Personally, i'm stoked for a futuristic game. Nothing too far mind you, but around 2020 or 2030 ish. The only thing that doesn't make sense is the game being a sequel, and being set with a different story in a different time period. All a bit odd if you ask me...

Official CallOFDuty.com BO2 Viral thread - UPDATE 7
ccm404e replied to Strwrsbob's topic in General Discussion
Quick update, the image of the Quadrotor has been updated. http://gyazo.com/04351d6f62c735e5ad7291fb56ddec0d It also now links directly to FPSRussia's video, giving solid proof this is a part of Black Ops 2. -
The image DOES look familiar to the Treyarch logo. Hmmm. Still the same image for me. I'm confused. I have a feeling Tacitus is the next website, like gknova6.com
-
OK man, you're seeing something COMPLETELY different from me. All I see is this. http://gyazo.com/dc2bfc582759dcfb0fda8ed3bd33bf48 There's a URL if the pic doesn't work Can you get a pic of your screen, or tell me how you got to it?

Will Zombies be excluded from the teaser trailer?
ccm404e replied to ZombiesQUANTUM's topic in Single Player
It's most likely the teasers and such like will be about the Campaign. It's up to us to look for other sources for the zombies info... -

It is also an anagram of "Cat Suit" which is 100% relevant I looked up anagrams hoping to find something super awesome, but all I found was Cat Suit and a few other unimportant stuff :D -
Official CallOFDuty.com BO2 Viral thread - UPDATE 7
ccm404e replied to Strwrsbob's topic in General Discussion
From my point of view, Tacitus could be one of two things. A. A Roman Emporer http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marcus_Claudius_Tacitus or... B. A Crater on the Moon http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tacitus_(crater) As Woody'sGamertag said, FPSRussia always wears his own shirts in his videos. This time, it's just a shirt that says Tacitus. I think that's something really important... EDIT Also, I tried out a load of websites. tacitus.com is a closed business. The site existed back in the late 90s so that's nothing. tacitus.net links you to a website about buying domain names. tacitus.co.uk is about domain names as well and tacitus.org... well... German Porn Site. And I don't really wanna know what nooks and crannys you have to highlight to find the 3arc logo. This needs more investigation. -

I love how fast this has all happened. Within a few hours of the website updating, someone's found out the loading wheel is morse code and translates to Black Ops 2. I love this site! -
Looks pretty much the same, except for the slices in the A and the Y. But it looks damn nice, i gotta say. Much simpler, yeah. New logo for a new era :P

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Posters [UPDATE 5]

On first glace, it looked pretty darn convincing. The thing that sold it to me really was the texture on the MP7. I mean, it just looks different. But, ya know... I did say take it with a pinch of salt. -
Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Posters [UPDATE 5]
ccm404e replied to LiamFTWinter's topic in Single Player
Personally, I just feel that Black Ops 2 is way to long winded. I mean, in full it's Call of Duty 8: Black Ops 2 Sequels lead to people complaining that the games are too similar, and having a different title keeps it just far enough away from Black Ops to be different. I think Eclipse is great. it's a bit eerie and mysterious too. It also connotes that the game is gunna be a bit dark, and gruesome. I'm really liking that, and can't wait for the release -
Honestly, I refuse to believe this is coincidence. I'm damn sure Treyarch have planned this out. It's so cool, and a real good headstart for a possible viral. I think we need to start doing a bit of digging on Eclipses around the Black Ops or Zombies eras.

Agree, shotguns should have way more ammo. Not gunna lie, Stakeout upgraded is one of my favourite Zombies Guns

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Posters [UPDATE 5]

I'd say HardHat from MW3. Looking closer, the hand looks exactly the same as the hand when using a shotgun in MW3. I just looked at hardhat, it's not there, I swear I've seen it in MW2, the glove he is wearing is the delta team glove from MW3 and the position his hand is in is the same as holding PP90 in MW3, which if you look at the bottom front of the gun in the image looks like the weird tube on the PP90. Either way, it's bloody well done. -
