Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Posters [UPDATE 5]
ccm404e replied to LiamFTWinter's topic in Single Player
I believe this was confirmed as fake, looks a lot like the centre of karachi from MW2, if this is real I'm no longer excited about this game because it looks terrible. I dunno what to think. The gun is definatley the MP7, but it does look different to the MW3 MP7. There is not enough detail on the map layout to compare it to another map, or see it as brand new. The killfeed is in a weird place and the killstreaks in the bottom right corner are laid out in a pretty obscure way. The first thing that came to me however is that the Dom Flag markers look way too much like that from Modern Warfare, and not from Black Ops. And I wouldn't go judging the entire game on one image that may or may not be real mate Also, the thing that got me is how detailed it is. If it is fake, the guy who's made this has done a bloody good job, so props to him! -

Another leaked image. Take it with a pinch of salt, but this is exciting... -
Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Posters [UPDATE 5]

I'm glad. Honestly,I think having the titles indicate direct sequels can be quite tedious, seeing as you have Call of Duty in the title too. Personally, I feel Call of Duty: Eclipse rolls off the tongue much better than Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 -
It only seem to be the Home Page that's down. Any word on when it'll be up again?
-
You might as well get MW3 mate. Pretty much an updated version of MW2.

I know MW3 chose to put in a more horizontal map style to try and combat camping. But it's had an adverse effect and has made the map design a little bland. That's why in the DLC they've made more vertical maps such as Piazza and Overwatch. Some of my favourite maps are the most vertical ones, like Favela, Terminal and Highrise. Although, I think having these vertical maps should be kinda restrained. If every map is really fun with lots of high points and all that, then it'd probably take the fun out of them. It's a tricky one, map design. Something else I've noticed, is that the best maps are always the smaller ones. The worst two maps on MW2 were Wasteland and Derail. Really slow pacing, and just downright boring. Whereas the two best maps on Black Ops hands-down were Nuketown and Firing Range. Big maps just slow the pace down and make the gameplay boring. And back on the vehicles thing, Call of Duty is a shooter. Not a driving game. If they start making bigger maps to suit vehicles, it'll take away from the gunplay. I'd prefer really good maps for gun on gun combat, than have heli-choppers and jeeps and shit. MW2 and CoD4 had some of the best stand-out maps like, Favela, Highrise, Crossfire, Bog, Crash... The sort of playstyle these maps gave us were really fun, and I hope they bring it back

In all honesty, I play Call Of Duty to run around and shoot the hell outta things. Not to fly planes and drive tanks. Call Of Duty should focus on the gun-play. Done.

Oh god here we go again... Truth is, they don't have the time to produce a new engine. They have 2 years to make a game, getting a brand new engine would take out masses of that production time and would, overall, be counter-productive. If Activision gave them a year to upgrade the engine and then the 2 year production cycle, then all would be well and good. But really, they just don't have the time to do it

Personally, I think sniping should be like Black Ops, except without the whole thing they did to make them inaccurate when ADS-ing. So yeah, kinda like WaW + CoD4 :D

Woah! Massive generalisation alert! I wouldn't say every Zombie fan likes The Walking Dead. A few maybe, but not every one. Plus Treyarch'd need approval from the guys who made The Walking Dead to use their characters and locations. I doubt it'd ever happen. If it did, it'd be The Walking Dead: The Game, not Black Ops 2 Zombies :)

Interesting. Very, interesting. Nice work bro [brains]
-
I doubt it. That's too obvious.

Which gameplay is better W@W or BO?
ccm404e replied to Nathan169's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Although WaW had a better atmosphere to it, Black Ops had an overall, more polished feel. there was a lot less glitches and random happenings and all that mojo. Whether the WaW maps are better or not is another question. Personally, my favourite map is Shangri-La. Just 'cause I love how completely different the atmosphere is to every other map. It's sunny, and green, and bright. I love it :D -
That intro's sweet bro! Although I agree with CJ that the typewriter sound needs to either be re-synced or replaced, the sound for the second half is pretty damn good bro :D

Oh god.. Here we go. Right. I would welcome you warmly to CoDZ, but since your first post here that i've read is another brainless, ill-informed rant about Elite, then I will refrain from doing so and tell you to STFU. OK! For MW3, the first DLC Pack will be released for 360 in March. That's exactly the same time as with MW2. Granted, later than Black Ops, but still, it's not much of a difference. The only difference is that Elite Members get the DLC earlier than non-Elite members. Normal people get the DLC at the normal time. Elite Upgraded people get the DLC earlier because they paid their subscription (which actually works out cheaper than if you got the DLC the regular way, but I won't get into that) Now as for Zombies, I would expect it to work how it did in Black Ops. 1 Zombie map in each map-pack. As for when this will be released Via Elite, I would put my money on it being the last piece to be released from that Map Pack, but I dunno really.

I'll work on uploading my intro to... somewhere... so somebody like CJ or CovertGunman or whoever wanted to can get it and manipulate it however they wanted. EDIT http://www.filedropper.com/codzintro Download that and you can use it on whatever you want!

It's common knowledge that Treyarch are producing this year's Call Of Duty. It hasn't been officially confirmed by either the company or Activision, but if we're to follow the cycle of previous Call Of Duty games, then we can pretty much be assured this year will be another Treyarch production. In the last month or so, small pieces of evidence have popped up around the good ol' interwebs about Treyarch's next game being Black Ops 2 First of all, Amazon.fr put Black Ops 2 up for pre-order for a short amount of time before Activision got them to remove it. Meanwhile, Computer Game Artist Hugo Beyer also announced in an online CV that work was being done on Black Ops 2, before removing it some time later. Now though, to add to the list of Black Ops 2 leaks, we have this... On March 1st, popular Spanish/Portugese E-Commerce website FNAC posted an advertisement stating that Black Ops 2 will see a November release date. Interestingly, every other title listed on the webpage has already been confirmed and stated as official titles for release; Black Ops 2 is the only title on the list that has not officially been confirmed as a title in its own right. The website informs users to 'subscribe to the alert and be the first in reserve', offering users of the website the ability to subscribe to the website in return for the chance to be one of the first to reserve Black Ops 2. This suggests that the website has already received notification that the game will exist and has given users the chance to pre-order before the game has been officially announced. Activision have so far failed to comment on the repeated appearance of Black Ops 2, and many believe they are waiting for April or May to officially announce the release of the game, which has been the case with previous Call of Duty titles. So... Black Ops 2 is looking more and more likely! Really looking forward to this one. If it's anything like Black Ops was, we're in for another intense year of CoD

People seem to like the font and feel that I used. Maybe build off that?
-
Yeah, those two are After Effects work. You want something like that, which is like, a billion times better, then you're gunna want to ask someone who has After Effects. 3D text I can do, AE Epicness, I cannot
-
Cheers bro. :)

6teQIdmwG_w As you can see, it's pretty rough. But this is just so we can get feedback. I can change the animation, or whatever. Just tell me what you think :D
-
Gimme 5 minutes. (I haz crap interwebs)
-
I just made a 3D CoDZ logo with the Zombie Font that's used up top. I'll upload it to my YT for people to get a look.
-
Um, do we have an intro or anything? Should we get one? 'Cause i'm in the process right now of making a video on the Music Egg locations for all the maps.
-
I was lucky enough to have Carbon give me access to the YT, so I can do whatever needs doing. I have a pretty popular YT channel of my own, Atomicfilms95, and can use that to "advertise" so to speak. But yeah, I have thought on many occasions that the CoDZ Youtube is very underused. Liam posted an awesome video on how to use the team-mate finder, so i'd go check that out. But I can guarantee that once Zombie info gets released, and trailers start popping up, there will be much more content on there, don't you worry :D
