I was a bit... well I guess butthurt when I found out that we wouldn't play as the original crew, but these new 4 are definitely growing on me. Misty: My favorite character to play as. Funny quotes and an all around badass. Russman: My second favorite. Relatable lines, the whitest black man I've ever seen, and I think he's hilarious to play as. Stulinger: Not the worst character, but certainly not the best. I'm okay playing as him and he has some decent lines. Him being able to hear Rich is definitely interesting, I can see him being used in later maps for Easter Eggs. Marlton: Dear god no. Painfully irritating character. The new crew's equivalent to Takeo. Only interesting thing is the fact that he has a science background, and I strongly believe that he knows why the Zombies are in Green Run.

Murder could you point me in the direction of where you read this? I'd really love to read it, because I've always thought it was a last minute thing.

About Nacht being called "Prototype" in the guide: The console command to play Nacht in World at War was nazizombie_prototype if I remember correctly, so the guide could possibly be referencing the fact that it was called that in the commands, and Nacht very well was a "Prototype," thrown into WaW towards the end of development.

These aren't noclipped, just things I saw from flying around. I'm pretty lost on the shiny things though. I can't see how they'd be unfinished pieces if they're in places like Town.

Flying through TranZit in theater again and found these: Where the bus begins its route The blue in the back is the end of the map. I just don't see it possible to load a next part, it just ends there. Was this area seen in the reveal trailer? The terrible draw distance. Without the fog, you can see that the corn doesn't spawn until you get much closer to the field. The wind turbines next to "Nacht." I see these all over the map. What are they, and why are they glowing? This is in the Jugg room.

Off topic but how do you get theater mode with no fog? And on topic: in your opinion, would just one person have to shoot the sign with the way gun? Or a team of 4?

It was less dense in both theater mode and normal gameplay. I noticed the gameplay part on my second game. And I read the update notes because I was curious(damn good update btw) and just figured it was something under the hood, not necessarily something made public.

Hi all, I received Black Ops 2's latest title update today and like always, went straight into Zombies. After I played my first game of TranZit - and died not too far into it - I went into theater mode to try to find where I went wrong. After realizing it was a simple mistake of not checking my back, I went into free cam mode and flew around the map. But what really struck out to me was the fog. I played TranZit the night before the update and the fog was as thick as ever, but, after the update, the fog seemed to have lightened up. I could finally see what was in front of me, and saw plenty of things I haven't seen before. So my question: did the latest update drop off the density of the fog? Or was it just my eyes playing tricks on me?

I just went into theater and did the same. Free camera, no zombies around. And you are definitely not crazy. There's something there for sure.

Not sure if it has any relevance to what you're saying, but while doing a theater mode fly-through, I did manage to find an old bus somewhere in the fog of the map. I could try to find it again..

I've had host migration work seemingly fine, only to get back into the game and have the textures all out of whack. I'll post pictures if I can get to a computer soon. This texture issue has happened almost 100% of the time after host migration.

Could definitely be something, seeing as how Richtofen is in the Aether and Samuel is the only one that can hear him. You may be onto something! -
Scanning through ^ that thread, I'll give you the answer to make it easier on you. Nobody knows why Nacht is there. It's most likely just an allusion to older times within the Zombies universe.
