Oh; it's all been solved already? Nice job, Carbon. Hope there'll be more....or should I hope?

For those who have resisted watching the leaks...
Gross1985 replied to nazizombiesrocks's topic in Black Ops
I know; I especially concur with your hope that it's a "fake chain", that my belief is that these early copies are very different from the actual copies we will be getting on November 9th. But what if it isn't. If it's the real deal, then.....well, I shouldn't have looked. That's the thing about leaks, especially leaking things that shouldn't be released until a specified date. People don't care what effect it will have on others; they pretty much post leaked footage because they can. Some of them do it to be like "Hey look at me! I have the full game and I'm gonna post it on YouTube!" I wonder if these leaks will be detrimental to Treyarch's involvement with the COD community. Treyarch gets more involved with its community than IW does, but maybe some people in the community take advantage of it. A few rotten apples spoil the whole bunch, and we have no one to blame but ourselves... -
Seen it. I think Treyarch should consider DLC for Campaign. :)

"Project Leak" is in effect, but at this rate I don't know what Project Leak represents......does it aim to control the leaks, or to proliferate them? Whatever the case, be careful where you go from here. If you can survive less than 7 days without being on the Internet, you'll be spoiler-free until release day.....but we all need the Internet, one way or another, so you're at greater risk of spoilage.

Well my views on their history during the early 1900's is a bit radical. To me it's silly that they should edit out Swastikas in games set during WWII, but the problem is that people only see the Swastika an nothing but a symbol of murder. The Swastika was implemented on many branches of their military; it wasn't just associated with the SS or any personnel involved in war-crimes committed during the war. I think one reason they have it edited out is because of shame. Well, it's easy for me to say this but I think they should consider it; people of the current generation shouldn't feel shame for something they themselves weren't involved in, even if everyone else encourages them to feel shame. All that stuff happened pretty much a long time ago. History can't be forgotten, but sometimes you can't let it drag you down. If it's anything, we in America are being told that the Confederate Flag is "no different from the Nazi Swastika", which I personally find to be a load of horse-crap, but a majority supports this belief, so the Confederate Flag is greatly frowned upon, and there was even an attempt some years back at removing it from a state flag (I forget which one) because it "supports racism" and other stuff. The symbol itself doesn't support a perverse belief; it's just those who wield the symbol that end up distorting the original message of the symbol, kind of like the origin of the Swastika and how it became a negative symbol after WWII. As for COD:BO being edited in Germany, well, I fail to see why they should edit anything there, because as far as I know there is no explicit Third Reich reference in COD:BO. If they're editing it for violent content, which is a less complicated issue than the whole Third Reich paraphernalia thing, then I easily say "Oh, come on!" Even Japan is editing out some of the graphic violence for COD:BO, which I find hypocritical because of some of the gratuitous stuff their media sometimes shells out. But hey, that's cultural differences for ya. Plus I think that there are some German gamers who wish such content wasn't edited out, because maybe they want to have the full experience like everyone else in other countries playing the game.

Possible New Strange person or being on GKNova6?
Gross1985 replied to Graffiti Skys's topic in GkNova6
I uploaded a screencap of it, too. I just call it "Woman", but other possible names from your previous thread could include "Angel", "Mannequin", or even "Samantha". It'd be ten times creepier if it were actually Samantha. Also if you look closely there appears to be some writing next to her. She could be tied to some teleporter maybe? Hopefully some more information will be revealed on her.....otherwise, we'll just have to wait until the 9th. -
Aw well; this thread's not for me, 'cause I've only been on here for about a month and I don't know everybody here. I may cast my vote after I do an analysis. Until then, good luck to everyone. :)

Question......do we know what time the new footage and what-not will be unveiled?

Ugh; finally! CODZ is back up! I noticed skinny jay's idea for a dog-tag and couldn't help but come up with a concept inspired by his idea. Click here if you want to see it, though for now this is a template. :D

Really? Thats the first time I have seen fully zombiefied scientist and zombies eating sombody. I thought for moment it was people forcing someone onto a medical bed. But other than that, I don't see anything new. :P

Because they still kick themselves for what the country was during WWII. Laws concerning depiction of most Third Reich paraphernalia are quite strict, too. In fact, they're considered "unconstitutional". :?

Could he be the announcer voice for SOG? Or will it be another faction we've not seen? Either way, it feels kind of silly to do that. Hire some hip-hop singer just because IW hired a hip-hop singer for their game.....but at least the SEAL's announcer (Fiddy Cent) spoke perfect English and didn't bring the whole "yo yo Imma bust a cap in yo ass nigga" into it. I'm sensing a pattern here. I hope to God they aren't urbanizing the COD series now. If the next COD game becomes all ghetto and titled something like "Calla Duty" or something, I will lose all respect for the COD series.

Well, since I don't have someone with me to sign in with me to my PS3, I guess I'm not so bothered by this. I do agree with the sentiment concerning us PS3 users getting the short end of the stick. However there are at least a couple "reasons" for this: 1.) Treyarch and Infinity Ward usually design their COD games using Xbox 360 devkits, and when they're all done they transfer it to the PS3 format. The same could be said about all American/Western videogame manufacturers. 2.) Xbox 360 users get their good deals before us PS3 users, one reason being that they pay for their online accounts and we PS3'ers get our online accounts for free (though there is PlayStation Plus, but as far as I know that program only offers privileges such as discounts and possible beta invites like what happened for Killzone 3, which I never noticed until a few nights ago). BD-ROM can hold more than the Xbox 360's format, but if they decided to put more content into the PS3 version, it creates an "inequality"; we get more than the Xbox 360 users, and they will complain. Generally, a company ports a game to the current generation of home consoles, intent on delivering the same content as each other. Handheld consoles obviously appear very different from the Xbox 360, PS3, or Wii versions, but that's because of technical limitations and what-not. Above all else, though, Xbox 360 is more mainstream than the PS3. Despite the PS3's price drop last year, which should lead to far more sales of the PS3, I think a "status quo" has been established about the Xbox 360, one that won't change for a long time.....that, and example #1 I mentioned above. I'm no fanboy, but sometimes I think being a PS3 gamer has unfair aspects in life. :(

All I know is that, according to the COD Wikia, Nova-6 is a type of revolutionary new chemical weapon created by the Soviets. The SP Trailer hints as to the effects of Nova-6; there's a guy in an NBC suit, but not wearing a gas-mask, and his face is covered in blood, as though the Nova-6 gas causes internal bleeding or something. Some are speculating that Nova-6 is a method of creating zombies, but maybe that will serve as a backstory for the Zombies mode in COD:BO, whereas in Campaign Nova-6 is just a powerful WMD.

I added it to my faves on YouTube. Die Glocke is an interesting topic, though I only know so much about it. [brains]

What should the song be in the Launch trailer for Black Ops?
Gross1985 replied to -CrF WarMachine-'s topic in Black Ops
Yup. Nothing sums up the Cold War like some hip-hop yo-yo music. -
Well, I downloaded Red Dead Redemption Undead Nightmare. This feels refreshing after playing MOH. :D

Black Ops Hardened/Prestige Special Content Received
Gross1985 replied to Undeadwolfy's topic in Black Ops
I'm envious. -
Doubt it. Though now that you mention it, I don't think we've ever seen Mason's face yet. Or did we? In COD:BO we'll get to have playable characters that actually speak......but we won't see their faces. Nice gimmick.

i think there's some sort of mechanical reason preventing that. maybe because the rof is so high, gases would build up in the silencer and damage it, an it would soon be useless. Equipping the PPSh-41 with a suppressor would require redesigning the muzzle. Plus I think that removing the current design of the muzzle would lead to higher recoil, because I think all those holes on the muzzle are meant for recoil reduction, considering the gun's extreme firing-rate. But as I said above, I've seen pictures of a PPSh-41 equipped with some modern accessories. Let me see if I can dig up a picture.....here it is; the one I saw last year. I know it's not much, but it's something nonetheless.

No worries; it's my first time, too. They upload so much stuff on YouTube that sometimes it's hard to keep track of every single thing, and then next thing you know we find something that's new that was actually posted months prior to the present.

13 days left. What a coincidental number. I'm probably going to just do what I usually do every day (nothing). MOH's Multiplayer should help keep me "satiated" until November 9. Plus I'm sure there will be updates by GKNOVA6 and GKNOVA0* so that stuff is going to keep me occupied by making me speculate stuff over and over. *NO FLAMING, PLEASE.

How come they get to preview the game and I don't?! I wish I was a VIP in the COD community.....but then again if I were I'd get creepy documents in the mail and stuff (assuming that's a bad thing?). Good job, Carbon. EDIT Huh? This video was released in June.
