  1. Perhaps it was him. But also it could of been Josef Mengele http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Josef_Mengele Nice comparisons, considering that COD Wikia compares him to the Red Baron from WWI.....which is absurd because the Red Baron was a pilot, not a psychotic doctor.
  2. I hope we don't have to see that Crawler's pingas in the game like you can almost see in one of the images in the OP's post. Anyway, I have to admit they almost resemble "The Pack" from Dead Space 2, even if just by the head structure, and even that's not 100% similar.
  3. That image was released by Treyarch/Activision? Spooky. If only it were larger, but....
  4. Tsh. Those poor Jews, who have it worse now than they did 60 years ago.Oops, did I say that outloud? Anyway, with all due respect, what do these documents have to do with "four letters"? Or do you mean that those documents are letters? If you mean the latter, then......wow; I felt stupid there. A letter is a writing, not just a character. Thank you. :)
  5. Er, the decoded message on one of the pages of the documents, highlighted: "“From part, we may judge the whole, Mkultra. Blurbird. Artischocke. The past. The truth. Blome brought the evil. Someone hide it. Gov vs God. Believe in the Welteis and the deads start walking. Power. German knowledge. Beware of the black sun. Search the truth. It is still there. Son of the Hud. Four letters. building 87. Clean the world in a manner which is honorable." I'm just curious as to whether or not the "four letters" thing was figured out or analyzed. My guess is that it could be "NOVA", but it's just my guess. What does everyone else think it could mean?
  6. I apologize if this is very late, if someone posted it but I couldn't find it......but what does the "Four letters." sentence mean? Has anyone speculated on this?
  7. Well look on the bright side. Even if your speed becomes faster(?) while holding the Care Package marker, sprinting is no longer infinite and there's no Commando perk. So I'd think the whining and crying will be less intense than in MW2. But I could be wrong. whiners will whine thats their job and its our to own them We pwn them until the company decides to patch these things up, though. It seems like the whiners in a game community get the attention of the developers more than anyone else; I've seen it in other games too, particularly Metal Gear Online.
  8. Maybe they're referring to a mission where you can torture a VC. One of the parts of that segment involves putting a glass shard in his mouth and then smacking his jaw several times.
  9. Then if they make COD:BO AO-rated, the game will only be sold at porn shops, because major retailers have decided years ago not to carry AO-rated titles. In otherwords, AO-ratings are bad for business. :P
  10. I thought that the leaked beta was a secret move on Treyarch's part to weed our potential cheaters and hackers. What if the quickscoping gets fixed prior to November 9? Otherwise, well, I don't gripe about quickscopers, but at the same time I have zero skill with quickscoping (I mean, I tried it but I can't seem to do it). :|

  12. Care Package running, anyone? :D
  13. Well I've seen real-life images of customized PPSh-41's, equipped with an EOTech sight at least. Also, some are saying that the gun in the image is a PPSh-43. If so......well, that kind of sucks, because the PPSh-43 doesn't have the blistering RPM of the '41.
  14. An Irishman, eh? Cool.
  15. It's funny how these relative things pop up in mainstream media. Maybe someone on NOVA caught wind of all this COD:BO anticipation & our fixations with deciphering things that he/she decided to post something to catch our attention.
  16. Pfft. I'm 25 years old and I know it's a videogame. I have no problem with violence of such in videogames, and it shouldn't have to be toned down because it's "too realistic" or anything.
  17. You're the third person today to say it could be a monkey. First was me, second was someone on CODHQ. [brains]
  18. Holy dog-shit; I didn't know there was anything when TFA'ing the tape. The sound-quality overall for the MC60 audio tape is crappy but that could be because Carbon recorded it from the tape-player to his computer (via a microphone or something). Don't they make accessories that let you play audio tapes on your computer or something? If they do then Carbon ought to go out and buy one (if they're not too expensive). If not, what else is there you can do?
  19. I'm sure the MW series' Nova Gas Station has nothing to do with COD:BO's GKNOVA6 thingy. Though I personally hope Treyarch didn't get the idea for the name from Modern Warfare, but that's just me.
  20. Don't see anything new. But how will we know if this website updates, or do we know if it ever will update?
  21. Interesting. I Googled your query and the first one was the link to this thread. But I also found this, which made me decide to Google "GK Persei" and find this and even a NASA source. I then Googled "Nova Persei 1901" and found this. I could go on right now but I'll stop here. Research will continue. Until then, good find, whether it's 100% tied to GKNOVA6 or not; all this stuff feels enlightening nonetheless. 8-)
  22. Japan's been doing some censorship lately. First time I heard about their censorship was after the release of Rapelay. Honestly I didn't think they'd contemplate censorship of anything like this. :?
  23. I posted a screencap of a more, er, gratuitous angle of the "Hazmat Man" and resized it.....just to get a clearer view of the man's eyes. They look rather bright, but maybe it's just the gas eating away at his tissue so perhaps the eyes are bleeding and as such the bright spot is just a usual glistening in his eyes (just that his eyes are probably soaked in his own blood). Anyway, click here.
  24. Oh wow. I saw one screenshot back at Haven, but then I come here (after hours of having no Internet) and learn that it's part of the SP trailer? I think I need to watch that again.... ....anyway, nice screencaps you got there. I personally think it's the Nova-6 gas killing him... ....now I just saw the trailer on CODHQ's homepage. Way to fool me, Treyarch; I thought the SP Trailer days back was thee SP Trailer, but then you release another one after that and have the narrator redo the script & include some guy without his gas-mask dying from whatever that gas does.
  25. [brains] The Pentagon seems to show a Braille Shorthand code with its windows. I think I saw Kravtchenko hiding in a wooden house as well. Nova-6 gas is leaking in a snowy area. There's some guy named Hank Keirsey. Captain Alex Mason doesn't exist. Everyone's favorite 1887 makes a return. Victor Charlie wants you to play Russian Roulette for his own amusement. TL;DR version : Black Ops is gonna rock. ;)
