  1. SOURCE: http://news.bigdownload.com/2010/11/04/ ... ovember-9/ Well, I'm hoping they release the soundtrack to Amazon; that's where I buy my music. The soundtrack to Modern Warfare® 2 was released too long after the game was released, during this time in which people would rip music from the PC version of MW2. Otherwise, the MW2 soundtrack put for sale on iTunes and Amazon contained 17 tracks (I will admit that "Siege" has grown on me over "dc_burning_intropeak", so I don't regret buying the MW2 soundtrack)... ...COD:BO's OST will, as stated above, feature 30 tracks. I don't know the list of songs, but for now I think it's pretty cool that they're willing to put up the soundtrack for sale at the same time of the game's release. So for any of you who are the collector-type and are interested in getting the latest COD game's soundtrack, this is your information. 8-)
  2. Oh wow; that's a good one. But does CafePress enable one to make shirts like that? Since CODZ's shop is a CafePress shop, there may be limits to how you can create clothing....unless CODZ is planning on expanding its shop, perhaps breaking off from CafePress to become its own? Only time will tell. Anyway, that's a nice shirt. 8-)
  3. Yesterday my friend thought that it was sort of a bad move on Treyarch's part to not show Zombies footage on Halloween. Until then I was thinking that we could wait until we get to experience it for ourselves, but maybe he has a point. I recall also saying that Treyarch might have thought "Eff you guys; if you want zombie footage go check out the leaks," but that's sort of a "personal motivation", and personal motives shouldn't interfere with business. I don't know. All I can say is that we all just wait for two more days. It's just TWO days, people; try not to think about it. :)
  4. I'm gonna start saying "CarbonFish", because when I say "-fibah" people look at me weird like they're trying to correct me or something.
  5. Campaign, as it's only natural for me to dig in to the single-player mode of any game. I may take a break from Campaign eventually and decide to hit up some MP and make sure I'm on track with everyone else (or better ;D).
  6. What if GK stands for Gooey Kablooey?
  7. The smoke grenade detonates rather realistically, too; you can see little streaks and strings of smoke. A nice little touch to detail if you ask me. :)
  8. Alright, for real; here's one I made just now (click). My "COD Misc" set includes three more variations of the "Wunderwaffle" concept. However, because they're .PNG images, there's a black background displayed, which is kind of frustrating because that isn't how I made those images. So, to see them as they're meant to be, just follow these steps: 1.) Click on the image. 2.) Click on the View in Light Box button (the magnifying lens). 3.) Click on "View all sizes" in the upper-right corner. 4.) Click on "Original"; this will yield the 2100x1800 image without the black background. If worse comes to worse I may have to send the files via E-mail and hope that they come through in their rawest form and without the black background. I made the image in four variations; one is regular, another is inverted, another has inverted text, and the other has an inverted gun. These variations should help if you want to place these on different-colored shirts and stuff.
  9. http://www.lanewsmonitor.com/news/How-C ... 289062140/ To be honest, I think COD:BO's going to wipe the floor with MW2, though I still don't know if it will financially. We'll just have to wait and see in 3 days.
  10. Well, I dabble in digital art and things, but my worry is that whatever ideas I conceive could be things that take itself seriously compared to what CODZ has for sale in their shop. CODZ's shop has paraphernalia with imagery that is goofy and light-hearted, kind of like what COD Zombies is in spite of it all, whereas mine may be trying too hard to be scary, like a zombie in your face or something. If you guys want, you could use that one image I uploaded a long time ago (click here). All I ask in return is that if someone asks who made the design, it was Gross1985. Or better yet, this image would make for an awesome T-shirt?
  11. I hate leaked footage because it's so damn tempting to look at, especially in all their HD quality on YouTube. There are certain parts that I am making sure to avoid, but nonetheless it's a real hassle, especially when there's nothing else to do at the moment. Leaked gameplay footage can be controlled, but there seems to be no stopping it. But I tend to look at the issue from a radical angle, believing that if people prematurely upload footage of their new game (however they got a copy of this game before its official release date it still beyond me) over and over and over, in later years we're all going to end up regretting it. I think this should be a hard lesson, that games like COD:BO shouldn't be made available before the official release date; obviously there are some outlets here and there in the market that enable some customers to purchase the game sooner than others, including Hardened & Prestige Editions which were most likely (or obviously) placed on reserve long in advance. As for uploading gameplay footage to the Internet, I think it's a case of impulsiveness for the most part. If someone has the right equipment, even if it's just a video-camera to hook up to a computer (and not something like a capture-card), and that person has an early copy of the game, it seems natural that this person is going to upload the footage. Why? Because he can, and that's pretty much the bottom line. It is true that some people do this for bragging rights.....but I think for the most part it's impulsiveness. I'm sure that if you tried to inquire as to why the person would upload the footage at that point in time, you'll likely just receive a half-assed response. I didn't mean to turn this into a chemistry or psychological debate, but it's just my perspective.
  12. Never. If quickscopers do what they do, then they stick with it. For the most part, most gamers online refuse to learn new tactics and methods, and at the same it's been dictated that, in online shooters like COD, you are either one of two things: 1.) You're lucky. 2.) You're cheating. ....because there's no such thing as "skill" to most of them. In fact, if you're skilled, you'll be accused of cheating; I speak from experience on this one. As for quickscoping, I don't know how to pull it off like the rest of them; I keep getting killed trying to do it anyway.
  13. I thought about walking over to my local GameStop and asking if they have COD:BO, but I'm too lazy to do it (for I'm a procrastinator). I know it sucks that many people already have the game, but just be patient, everyone. :ugeek:
  14. Congratulations to CODZ. :D
  15. At the moment, I'm interested in the M653 (Commando if you prefer), M1911, and some Nova Gas. Depending on how things go, the Commando's going to be my workhorse through the start of MP.
  16. We need more commercials like those, don'tcha think? 8-)
  17. I was kind of hoping that GK was a super-secretive organization, seeing as how they were mentioned in the viral documents back in July. :(
  18. SOURCE: http://www.callofduty.com/board/viewtop ... 0&t=304268 I apologize, but because I posted it in the CODHQ, I wanted to post it here on CODZ so other could learn of this discovery I made. Again, as I said last night on CODHQ, I hope this doesn't detract you from your plans of acquiring COD:BO...and as I said, I've only seen these "hit-detection issues" in Zombies gameplay, and not Campaign.
  19. To be honest, I was hoping "GK" was the name of some secretive organization. After all, GK was mentioned in those viral documents back in July, which had ties to the Third Reich and, if I remember correctly, parts of the United States. Anyway, General Kravtchenko is a nasty individual....and believe it or else, .
  20. But couldn't she have manifested in some way, shape, or form after exposure to the teleporters? I mean, I'm only guessing this because Der Riese seems to hint that the usage of those teleporters yields supernatural entities....kind of like how, in Doom 3, creatures from Hell attacked Mars because of the UAC's experimentation with teleportation devices.
  21. I like Nuketown. But at the same time....I can hear "them" crying now.
  22. So he was trolling us? I must not have paid attention to that.
  23. Maybe. For a while I was thinking that Treyarch decided to say "Eh, f*ck you guys," in regards to official Zombies footage, because we leaked gameplay footage ourselves (well, not you, me, him, her, Carbonfibah, or most COD community members....but a few). From my personal point of view, any employee that leaks that content should be sacked. But Treyarch seems to be a company that loves to "play around" when it comes to our anticipation of COD:BO, especially considering the whole thing with their viral content those months back. You may feel happy at first, but do you not feel more anxious to play the game yourself? Time will tell, but for now I think you're the only person on CODZ who thinks that. :P
  24. I saw some SP gameplay, which is, quite honestly, making me more anxious to get my hands on the damn game already. I've seen some, but I'm trying to make sure I don't run into a leak that exposes game's ending. I saw some Zombies footage as well as some MP footage; I think I've, in total, seen more MP footage leaks than the other Pillars. But I think the reason people don't want to watch Zombies footage is because people are more sensitive to the Zombies experience than the other game modes (Pillars), especially since there are bound to be tons of easter eggs, and people don't want to see videos of people searching for them.....neither do I, for that matter. And one never knows what to expect in concern to leaked footage, even if the recurring footage on YouTube are files originating from other accounts that may've been banned by Activision.
  25. Nova-6 grenades probably work like Tabun from COD:WAW, except Nova-6 delivers "slow damage" while the target is exposed to the gaseous emission, obviously meaning that too much exposure will kill him/her. Makes for a nice alternative "potato" when using it on targets in Second Chance stance, even if you miss by a few feet (unless he's wearing a gas-mask).
